The best Blues band in Omaha!
Dave B.

For the past two years I have attended the Omaha Blues Ed final show here. And each year the band Dilemma has been the best. They have an extraordinarily talented drummer and he kind of carries the group. The sound is great. The show goes off on time. Best road crew that money can buy! And thanks to the Papio-Missouri NRD for purchasing the land for this venue and Walnut Creek. Special thanks to former director David D, Begley for standing firm on the second vote to buy the real estate. If Begley would have switched his vote, there would be no Walnut Creek or Sumtur today.

Great venue! Plenty of security. Definitely a go to place for great concerts. Nice and friendly staff.

General admission on the grass is fine but sitting in the reserved seats closer to the stage is dynamite! Tons of leg and elbow room. The red lager was pricey at $7 but delicious.

Our view from the reserve seats. Row E in the center. (Which is basically 7th row)

The angle from the grass gives those viewers a decent view of the stage as well.

What a classic, nostalgic venue to enjoy live music. The auditorium itself is laden with…read morechandeliers, balcony seating, ADA accessibility and plenty of space (watch the stairs to 2nd floor they are a bit tricky on the angle) The art deco style bars are amazing and staff are more than happy to help update you on the drink specials. Plenty of room to lounge and enjoy yourself during intermission. I especially loved the original ticket booth that they restored for show. Best finally the acoustics are AMAZING (as NOT all venues are). We look forward to another visit

The Admiral now has tables upstairs (where before had only been bleachers), a large/redone bar area that is way more open (and great bartenders!), and best of all - air conditioning! It could get very hot in there during summer, but I just attended a show there tonight (when it was 99 degrees outside) and the air conditioning was working beautifully! The acoustics and sound are pretty good for comedy acts and more acousticy bands, but when the music gets a lot louder, the singer/lyrics can get a little drowned out. I think that's the only negative thing I've noticed. With the upgrades they've made from the Sokol days, I'd say definitely check this place out to see the new digs!

This is a covered open air structure with ample seating, I'd sat 100+ folks could gather here. There is a huge lifted stage and stereos. There is also a huge bar for serving food or drinks. The music was great, super loud, but that's how rock shows go. The service was inside the club house, and the ladies were quick and efficient.

I love the blend of local artists - S/O to Kaylyn Sahs who is one of my favorite! - and larger names. The timing was great with plenty of time for each artist, and the bigger names getting the later more populated spots. I loved the variety and availability of food trucks and really enjoyed my meal from Javis taco truck! It was also very affordable--under $10 which was a pleasant surprise. Getting wrist bands and drinks tickets was never an issue, aside from a longer line Friday night just before the main performer at 9pm. Overall things were very fast and the service was great and super friendly!! This is an awesome event and well attended. Definitely worth the drive to Ashland especially since the parking and traffic has plenty of space and doesn't take too long to get in or out.
