Apparently this place had a "bad batch" of Botox, some of which was used on me. And since nobody there will call me back to talk about this, I had to go through Groupon to get a refund. This review is for the RUDE receptionist. A day prior to my appoitment They confirmed my schedule and I told her what my apptmt is for. So next day I went for my appointment at 10:30am. As soon as I check in, receptionist told me they scheduled me for 11:30 not 10:30am. Then she asked what my appointment was for. I hesitate to tell her around other patients who can hear our conversation and because I want my privacy. I ask her to check my previous check up to find out but she gave me this Big nasty attitude!!!! She needs to get FIRED asap! She has NO CLUE on how to do her job. She gives a BAD reputation to the Doctor. The Dr did not even able to see me since he had an emergency so they rescheduled me to 330pm that afternoon. So I went back but as soon as I got there, they told me that Dr is doing a procedure to another patient that I may have to wait another HOUR! Unbelievable! Super disappointed. They charge you for everything, and won't even let you know the result, even when I already signed the release form. Don't go to this place unless you want a rip off. I called the office to ask for blood test to check my hormone level, and got told that I cannot just check hormone, but I have to do a full annual physical with it. So I went in to get my annual physical for that reason, and when I got the result, I was shocked that there was nothing related to the hormone, which is exactly what I came in for. I called the office, and surprisingly the staff told me that they don't and never check hormone at all (WTF). After speaking to several people on phone and 20 min of argument, they finally said that they can do it, but I need to come back to the office again to draw more blood. So another visit to the office for another blood test. 3 weeks later, no result, but only a voice msg ask me to come for a follow-up visit in four months without telling me why at all. I called the office to ask for the result, guess what: they said in the last 30 years, they never give patients their check result. WTF again, because I signed a release form last time when I was in their office solely for the purpose of getting my own result. So another round of very unhappy argument for 30 mins. Bottom line, they are just trying to get you for more visits, so they can charge you more, without really helping the patients. Totally pissed off and will never ever go back again! read more

This review is for the office manager and receptionist - NOT the doctor. I went to doctor Zykria for years. I started going to him in the 80's. It was great until he hired THE RUDEST receptionist ever, then his wife took over the business end of things. Suddenly every time I went in there I owed $10, $5. What is the deal - you didn't bill me? They told me I couldn't see the doctor until I paid it. So I started asking for an itemized bill for the money I was paying that day. they refused. That is illegal (don't mess with me - I'm a legal beagle). So I paid and saw the doctor. (He is excellent by the way - I really feel that he saved my life with a great surgery at one point). When I went to schedule the next appointment - I told them I would not be back. Two weeks later I get a bill for something in the neighborhood of $40K - with dates going back to when I first started with him in 1984! It was the difference between the usual charge, and what the agreement is with the insurance. This is illegal to charge anyone that difference between what the doctor agrees to charge under certain insurance policies, and what he usually charges. I went to a colleague who drafted a letter to the office, letting them know under what law these charges are illegal, and to cease and desist billing me for the charges. I never heard from them again. Again - the doctor himself is a wonderful person. I've been with him through childbirth, illness, problems and now menopause. At every appointment he has been understanding, gentle and knowledgeable. If he had a different front office staff - I would still be there. read more

I am very disappointed after spending quite a lot of money on laser hair removal at Gul zukria clinic and .. It's a big let down and depressing really to learn tht the interim hair reduction was just temporary . It's been like 4 months since I Completed 6 sittings for underarms and 5 treatments for bikini / chest . Now I see the hair is growing like before in these treated areas. I don't understand what's the point of spending so much hard earned money for laser hair removal only for hair to re grow in full swing ..plz note that I have no hormonal issues or cysts or blonde grey hair etc to blame on . When I asked the doctor why there was hair growth even after 6 sittings there was absolutely no onus taken but I was told some ppl may require more sittings and I need to pay 600$ to purchase 6 sessions . Customer satisfaction is not valued here ..just interested in money making :( Even though I have been an old customer who expressed disappointment , no concession was given . When 6 sessions don't show any result how can I be sure the next 6 sessions dr Myra asks me to take will show results. Wats the gurantee ..i also felt hurt and let down talking to Myra's indifference .I will not recommend laser hair removal here to anyone. No lasting results . Dr. Zikria had to take over all the functions of fertility because my body had turned fertility completely off. I would like to say first: the staff are really friendly. I bought the microdermabrasion Groupon package. Myra explained everything she was doing before she did it. I enjoyed the service. What I didn't like (my warning): they will insist you buy their skin products. It's a little awkward. Made me feel guilty so i eventually bought something because I got the "tsk tsk" everytime I came in. Ultimately, if I lived closer I might go back but it was a far drive. I went to see Dr. Z for a "simple" Botox treatment. I arrived ten minutes prior to my appointment, and was called in by the Manager (Dr. Z's wife) 30 minutes after my appointment time. No apologies were made for the delay, as if my time was far less important. Then the next 15 minutes was wasted by the Manager describing to me the history of cosmetic surgery and the difference between it and the plastic surgery field. Completely pointless and a waste of time! I was there to get a Botox treatment and decide whether I would be a returning patient - not to learn about how the French fought to obtain their "rights" in the cosmetic surgery field. When I explained to her I just wanted to get my treament, she takes out her iPhone and says she's going to take a picture of me to put in my file. What professional office takes picture of clients on their iPhone?! I decline her offer and she proceeds by showing me all the pictures of previous clients she has on her phone - an exact demonstration of the lack of professionalism and privacy I was hoping to avoid! When I brought this to her attention, she called a nurse into her office to tell her how "difficult of a patient" I was and for her to take me into the room and take a picture of me with the office camera. Once in the room, the nurse apologized for the Manager's ridiculous behavior. When she finished, I was left in the room awaiting Dr. Z's arrival. The Manager then comes back in to tell me that she's the Dr.'s wife and that this was "1/2 of her practice" ... I quickly stopped her from continuing her nonsense and unprofessional behavior by reminding her that she should focus her attention on how she's portraying herself in a medical office. This was by far the worst experience I have had in a medical setting. Dr. Z, himself, was very approachable and engaging. His nurse was considerate and professional. However the manager/wife of Dr. Z was incredibly rude and inprofessional, and exemplified the lowest class of behavior expected of someone that's connected to the office brand. read more

We (my wife and I) were frantically calling Gynecologists offices in Fremont. We wanted an appointment within the next few days. Very few offices were willing to see us at such short notice. Fortunately for us, one of them was Dr. Zikria's. His is not the typical (fancy) doctor's office, but it has caring and efficient staff. Both Ismar and Eliana are always on top of things. Billie manages the front office like a pro - she is warm and friendly, always greeting everyone with a smile. She does make every patient feel important. Dr. Zikria - as many have noted - is not only experienced and accomplished, but humble & humane too. My wife's was a high risk pregnancy, but he always calmed our fears and was very patient with answering our questions and addressing our concerns. He was always very proactive and methodical in his approach, and didn't hesitate to reach out to experts to get their opinions during complications. We were lucky to have him as our gynecologist and deliver our lovely daughter. The nurses at the hospital always spoke very highly of him too. I would highly recommend him to anyone. read more
