Let me preface this with the fact I walked into Dr. Chases office with a mouthful of old, civil-war…read moreera "VA Dental" work, which left this veteran never wanting to smile due to the poor work done via the VA. It was pretty bad. I'm talking I had a Llyod Christmas of Dumb and Dumber smile. Dr. Chase listened to all my concerns and my issues and set up a plan to address and fix all of them. Doctors are artists of their concentrations. Those practices come with a continuous effort to stay current and proficient in the latest procedures and techniques, hence why their career is called a practice. Dr. Chase is an amazing artist in the field of dentistry. Couple that, with her cordial and pleasant office staff and dental techs...my visits have been nothing short of enjoyable and not the usual dreaded Marquis de Sade-esque visit one normally endures... Dr. Chase has restored my smile and my confidence in now smiling at others. My only complaint would be the fact she would talk with her tech about great subjects (crime documentaries, home improvements and her bad stock picks) while working on my teeth...and me not being able to join the interesting conversation due to all the fingers and tools stuffed I'm my gullet. I digress. Midbay dental is one of the best dental offices I've ever visited. Highly recommended. Thank you so much Midbay Dental. TJ

They…read moretold me that the best solution is to fill it with silver diamine fluoride and that it would stop the decay and is a no pain solution for kids. I wish I would have researched this better but I went along and trusted that they knew best. Now, mid March of 2020, my child has pain in that same molar. I take her to an emergency dentist (on COVID-19 isolation and went to the closest and best rated dentist that was avail). The cavity WAS NOT stopped and in fact became so bad that it decayed her entire tooth to the point that it might have to be pulled out! $500 later and a TON of pain- her tooth nerve was removed. A crown was put in place but there is only a 50% chance the nerve will heal. If it doesn't heal, it will have to be pulled. This tooth will not grow back in until she is 12 years old. Not only has my sweet girl had to go through all this unnecessary tooth pain but it was something that could have been taken care of from the beginning with a simple filling! This makes me furious, why wouldn't a dentist properly explain the consequences and long term?! I am not a dentist and one should be able to trust that their health care provider is doing the right thing! I will NEVER go here again, I would not advise trusting this practice with your kids teeth. They obviously cut corners!

I have had many cleanings and at times had my teeth cleaned up to 4 times a year. Recently I had what I would call a dental emergency and was not willing to wait over a week to get an appointment. Finding Dr. Broutin was a good thing. He had me in his chair within 24 hours and considering the pain I was in was required. I'm sure there are many great dentists out there but there were several things about him that stood out from the other dentists I have associated with through the years. 1st. He got me in quickly and the appointment time was right . I was in the chair at the appointed time. 2nd He had and used digital x-rays that showed the (my) problem on a 15 inch LCD TV screen. I became informed as to what the problem was. I could see it. A picture is worth a thousand words. 3rd He took the time to talk about the problem and the options available. Close -up digital pictures were taken and I could see for myself that what was explained was in fact accurate. 4th. He tries to save teeth. Which he did. He takes personal pride in doing so. He gave me a time line as to what I could expect with another looming tooth issue. Which I was completely unaware of even after having a cleaning and a complete set of x-rays taken 40 days earlier at another dental office. 5th The work was excellent. I was back to chewing steak on both sides of my mouth within days. I needed no readjustment as has been common in my past. In closing... If I had stayed under the care of the dentist I had been going to I would have lost ( in my opinion) 2 important jaw teeth. I am grateful to Dr. Broutin and his staff for saving those 2 teeth . The Dr. has my trust and respect. AND I have not received any discount or special rate for writing this review nor do I expect or desire any.

He explains exactly what he recommends be done and explains all your options fully. I love the ability to see after he is done working on my teeth, actual shots on the tv screen of each step of the process. A picture is worth a thousand words when it comes to seeing the actual condition of your dental work. I came to Dr. Broutin after I was unsatisfied with my last dentist of 2 years who I felt was unresponsive to my concerns about the fit of a crown for over a year and other nagging problems. Dr. B. was able to determine the reason for the problems and fix them after my first visit. His office staff is wonderful and friendly and have always been able to get me in quickly whenever it was necessary. Although I have only seen Dr. B for regular dental work, I would not hestitate to have cosmetic dentistry done in the future. Dr. Broutin is a true professional and perfectionist who obviously loves what he does.

When making my appointment, I asked if they would be able to use my x-rays and chart form my Louisiana dentist. They said yes, so I emailed them as they requested me to do. After completing the medical history, I was taken back to get X-rays done. I had reminded them that i had already sent them recent x-rays. They responded that they wanted to do their own. After having 25 painful x-rays done, they told me I only needed to do 5 more. I said it's too painful (I have a small mouth), I said no more X-rays. I am 71 years old. Over the years, I have never, ever had to take more than 6 x-rays on any or my prior visits. They took 25 and were not done. I said I could no longer stand the pain. They called the doctor in. He was insensitive to my pain and said they needed to do the remaining x-rays. I told the doctor I could no longer stand the pain and just asked for a cleaning. He said they could not do that. So, I excused myself. I figure that they were getting paid by Humana for the number of x-rays.

I had no issues with the "new patient" exam, but was disappointed that I wasn't able to get my teeth cleaned during the initial visit. Of course, I left and scheduled an appointment with another local dentist. No issues whatsoever! X-rays, exam, cleaning all for less than the gold plated cleaning despite being out of network. Hey Aspen, a wise man once told me you can shear a sheep for a lifetime, but you can only skin it once. Happy I didn't have an emergency or I may have lost my skin. Stay away!

Based on my experience, I would avoid this practice. My teenaged daughter received a full set of…read morebraces from Stubbs Orthodontics. Over time, after brace removal and thousands spent, her teeth drifted back close to their original state. Upon a re-visit to Stubbs Orthodontics, we were told she would need another full set of braces at a cost of approximately $7,000. I reached out to Dr. Stubbs via email explaining it to be our contention that my daughter was not given proper instructions as to retainer use upon discharge, hence the drifting of her teeth, and that spending thousands a second time to be unreasonable. After that initial email (as I was instructed to send by her office staff) directed to Dr. Stubbs on December 17, 2025, instead of a response from Dr. Stubbs, I received an email on January 7, 2026, 3 weeks later, from her office manager Emily stating Dr. Stubb's position that my daughter was given proper instructions, it was my daughter's fault, but that "I'd like to work with you on how we can move forward and do the best thing for Michele-how would you like to proceed?" As the causation of the failed treatment was in dispute, but it seemed Dr. Stubbs wanted to work with us on a resolution, I responded to Emily that it would be incumbent upon Dr. Stubbs to suggest as to how we might proceed in my daughter's best interests, and that I looked forward to hearing back from Dr. Stubbs on the matter. I heard nothing back from anyone. I reached back out to Emily requesting a response directly from Dr. Stubbs. Again, I heard nothing, and have heard nothing. I can only assume, at least based on this experience, Dr. Stubbs not only hides behind her office manager in situations she finds uncomfortable, but also stonewalls parents/patients if she does not like a differing position. Having a healthcare background myself as owner/operating of orthopedic sports medicine facilities, I along with the treating licensed therapists dealt directly with patient/parent disputes, no matter how uncomfortable, and in person. Life can be uncomfortable at times, opinions differ, and hiding resolves nothing. Patients/parents not only deserved our attention, but it was integral in offering superior service and care, learning from each situation and building positive relationships. This is also part of being a professional, and an adult. I recognize the reason my daughter's teeth drifted is in dispute after thousands spent, a situation I feel could have been discussed as adults, and remedied, but there is no dispute that the owner/operator and supervising physician of my daughter failed to offer even the courtesy of a response to a patient's parent upon multiple requests, and instead, ignored them. I find this to be weak, and prefer a strong healthcare provider with conviction for my children. I can also only assume Emily's, or Dr. Stubb's offer to work with us was disingenuous from the start. Trust is the most important aspect of any relationship, much less when relating to that of patient/parent and healthcare provider, building credibility. We will be moving on to another provider we find credible and can trust to correct my daughter's teeth.

Hopefully it won't cost them. Another corporation not seeing the big picture. Their corporate policy is masks inside or curbside service. I came in as a first timer without a mask. 2 staff members insisted I wear a mask or I physically leave the building. They brought a mask and I wore it for 2 minutes. They took my dog to the back and I walked outside to take my mask off. Now I'm outside talking with someone on the phone. This company is cutting off their human elements, communication being the main one. I can't see any of the employees beautiful faces and now I have to talk them on my cell phone in front of the store. And then they just texted me my digital invoice that I am paying on my phone from the parking lot. This company is willing to jeopardize their entire patient and customer workflow in the name of wearing a mask. I really feel bad for the employees here who are working hard but still have to stress out with their customers about a stupid mask. Great staff, but unreasonable company policies.
