Walked in and let them know it was our first time and Alexa took care of us all the way through. We ordered mushroom crepe that was very tasty. It was called Bakonyi Palacsinta. We shared our entree which was a potato crusted chicken with salad. This is called Karpati Borzacska. Both were amazing and tasty. The cherry on top was our dessert which is a chocolate rum sponge cake with walnut and raisin with chocolate syrup. Sounds rich right? It was not. It was a perfect balance and not too sweet believe it or not. It is called Somloi. The restaurant is charming and shows its Hungarian culture with additional market items on sale and it also shows its family background with the pictures by the bathroom. You can tell the food is freshly prepared when you hear the schnitzel being pounded in the kitchen and ten minutes later, it is served at the table next to you. I'm not very familiar with German food so I can't say anything to authenticity, but as for taste, nothing special or particularly memorable about it, nothing to write home about in my opinion. Our server, Judy, was wonderful though. Very very sweet and attentive, took good care of us HOWEVER, all that said, the real reason we'll never go back is because of the OWNER (never caught her name). We came with 5 people and one of my friends chooses to wear a mask when she is out in public for personal health related reasons, but not that it should matter anyway. The owner came up to the table and says she "really does not tolerate masks in the restaurant" and she refused to serve my friend unless she removed her mask. She wasn't even polite about it, she was very rude. This was all after we all ordered too, so my friend and her boyfriend had to leave and we all should have left but didn't want to leave poor Judy . Judy was so sweet, she even came to the table afterwards to apologize on behalf of the owner. This was just so absurd and we couldn't believe the owner of the restaurant behaved this way.
