Very authentic family-owned German restaurant. True to its name it offers like twenty varieties of schnitzel (thinly pounded fried pork chop with bread crumbs), with your choice of pork, veal or chicken. There are also sausages and goulash. The entrees come generously with two side dishes: from spatzel (German pasta) to salad and potatoes in many forms. We were a bit surprised with the potato salad, which our waitress told us is Bavarian style, vinegary and served warm with bacon, not the chilled one w dill and pickle that we expected. Naturally, you should enjoy your meal with some nice German beer, which is available on tap and in bottles. And finish the meal with a nice apple strudel or black forest cake. Sehr lecker!!

Got the Wiener Schnitzel. The red cabbage and potato salad were great, however it was as a patty, not a real cut of veal. Wife enjoyed her pork schnitzel. Warsteiner on tap, cold and tasty.

I enjoyed a great German meal at this friendly, clean, family style restaurant. As soon as you walk up you are greeted with the German welcome sign on the glass "Willkommen!" The hostess immediately greeted and seated us. They do serve a modest selection of bottled and draft beers. I requested a Warsteiner draft to accompany my meal. The schnitzel Holstein with potato pancakes and red pickled cabbage as the sides made for a very tasty meal. I noticed the chef come out and ask the patrons, myself included, how were the meals. Well by know it should go without saying no complaints from me as I was already looking forward for my Apple strudel dessert to arrive. Great food, friendly service, plenty of parking! With that being said, PROST!!!

Best German food I've ever had. My mom and I were visiting from Long Island and we were fortunate enough to eat here with my Grandpa and family for his 80th birthday celebration. The Plain Schnitzel, which I squeezed with fresh lemon, was the best I have ever had and I have had some of the top German food in NYC. The potato pancakes & apple sauce and pierogies and German beer were to die for and I wish that this restaurant was on Long Island so I could eat here all the time. Such friendly and accommodating owners. Do not miss this place. Thank you so much for everything and we will be back!

We had two kids cones, two "pup cups", one adult waffle cone and the AWESOME Cotton Candy Burrito!! Kids cones were sugar cones and they fresh & crisp. One flavor Cookie Monster was monsterously blue with Oreo type cookies and cookie dough in it. Grab wipes for all of the blue, luckily it didn't stain. The other was Red velvet and so creamy and not extremely dyed red. I recommend the Birthday Cake for those wanting excellent Birthday Cake flavor but not overly sweet- throw it in a waffle cone and you won't regret it. Ordered a fun surprise for the hubs- the cotton candy burrito!! Two scoops of ice cream wrapped in blue and pink cotton candy!! He loved it! He chose kitchen sink with 7 candies mixed in it - let me tell you it was like the literally dumped half a candy bar of each in vanilla and mixed it up. The NOT so COVID good: our friendly ice cream lady wasn't wearing a mask nor was she wiping anything down. We sat outside and didn't notice any sort of cleaning being done at all. A few families came in after us- some wore masks, some didn't and nothing was said about the ones not wearing them. (I happened to follow them in to grab a magnet) Wear a mask. Grab some ice team and enjoy a nice Friday night outside. We did. The other NOT so good: Somehow a single scoop in a waffle cone, 2 kids single scoops in sugar cones, 2 pup cups (single scoop vanilla in cup) and the Cotton Candy Burrito came to $30! No menu with pricing that I noticed but mannnn thirty bucks die ice cream is a little hefty. Again, the ice cream was good but I was thinking it was $15-18. Jaw hit floor, I picked it up sanitized it and moved on.

Pinchers Ft Myers Beach…read more Birthday Dinner at Pinchers Fort Myers Beach: We visited Pinchers on Fort Myers Beach for my birthday dinner on Friday at 4 p.m. We were seated quickly, and our server, Dorlina, promptly took our drink and food orders. What We Ordered: * Hot Crab & Cheese Dip * Crab & Corn Chowder * New England Clam Chowder * Blackened Grouper Sandwich with Mashed Potatoes and Baked Beans * Bourbon Salmon with Green Beans, Mashed Potatoes, and Coleslaw * Caesar Salad Food and Flavor: The Soups and Dip came out first, and everything was served hot, flavorful, and delicious. Our main dishes arrived shortly afterward. My blackened Grouper Sandwich was amazing, especially with the Mashed Potatoes and Baked Beans. My wife's Bourbon Salmon was simply the best Salmon we have had in this area. The Mashed Potatoes and Green Beans were excellent, and the Coleslaw was on another level--absolutely fantastic. Our friend's Caesar Salad filled the plate, tasted fresh, and had dressing that was spot on. Service and Hospitality: The food was excellent, and Dorlina's service was outstanding. Janet the Manager also stopped by to check on us and make sure we had everything we needed. When we asked for extra Bourbon Sauce for my wife's Salmon, she brought it back right away, even though she was busy. Kudos to Pinchers for great management and great service. A Special Birthday Surprise: Because it was my birthday, the team surprised me with a slice of Key Lime Pie topped with a large sparkler. It was a fun and memorable way to end the meal. Final Thoughts: I can't wait to go back, and you should not wait either. Thank you, Pinchers, for an amazing birthday dinner. Five stars! Gulf Coast Terry

Another plus for coming here with kids is that they eat free for every paying adult (I think there's a price amount but not sure), so three of the kids ate free. The children's menu is pretty boring, however. It's basically hot dogs, hamburgers, chicken fingers...Don't you wish they had some more fish options? Another plus factor is that it's a casual noisy place. No dress code -- so we saw a bit of everything from daisy dukes to overalls. And it was a bit loud so no worries about the kids disturbing the other diners. Service alone here warrants four stars. David was patient with all the special requests and numerous drink refills, etc etc. Kudos! My husband and I each had gulf oysters to start. He had a half dozen raw and one of the kids even tried one! I had a half dozen steamed. The oysters were very good. For entrees, I had their (one) softshell dinner. I got it sautéed and did green beans twice for my side. The softshell crab was good but very small. My husband just had a shrimp cocktail. Fresh and nice sized shrimp. His grand daughter and one of the kids shared the Alaskan crab special. It was rather skimpy for the price. And since they were still hungry, they added on a shrimp cocktail. The other kids did a hot dog, chicken fingers, and a burger. They came with fries -- cute rounds of fried potatoes with smiley faces. For dessert, we sampled the carrot cake, the chocolate cake, and the key lime pie. The dessert portions were huge (and priced to match) but well worth it. They took most of the desserts home. We'd been to another Pinchers before, but we felt this one was better. Glad we stopped here for dinner.
