From the moment I placed a call to inquire about the written exam, I knew I had chosen the right place with a well educated and informed staff. Came here a few weeks back with my boyfriend to install some sights on his Glock. We asked if they do install, the skinny man said we do. So he went and called Bob I think to put them on, fast but Crappy service. Why? We finally took it out to shoot and the sight just came off... never has this happened. So we took it to guns direct. Now it's ran by two little rascals...these two new guys don't even bother to care what there names are, are very horrible. No knowledge of guns and no service. This review is a bit overdue but I finally got around to it, this review is for customer service, and prices. We have a tough guy behind a counter named Avo I believe, bearded sad guy with a staring problem. My girlfriend is looking at some handguns in the display and he's just staring from a distance on a chair, we aren't being helped by anyone but just being stared at for a few minutes with just stepping foot into the store. So I ask Avo if he can show us the Glocks and the different sizes that would best fit and be comfortable for my girlfriend. He mumbles from the distance "Glock 19 or Glock 22"..... I ask the prices, he states 600 for each and I ask if he can give a discount or price match to another store in Burbank just 5 minutes away that quotes me 525 over the phone.... he says no he can't and leaves into the back room that I believe is for law enforcement, spends roughly 15 minutes in there and comes out to sit on the chair again... not asking us if we found anything or have any other questions.... I think these guys are set on sales from Glendale PD and simply don't need business from the public.... I said goodbye and grabbed my girlfriends hand to walk away and all he does is stare at us with a depressed expression... judging from the other reviews I don't think he was having a bad day but more of being his natural personality... Do yourselves a favor and visit another store, these guys don't need your money. I found a few in Burbank with such great customer service and prices that it makes this place look like a scam really.... read more

Terrible customer service!! I Have only been in a few gun stores but this was unacceptable, the skinny kid with the gun on his hip was rude and arrogant. Didn't make eye contact and basically ignored me while I was in there. The store wasn't busy so he should've serviced me better. Awesome staff. Picked up my FFL pistol at this location and they were very accommodating and organized. Too bad they were scarce on rifles and pistols due to high demand from new gun owners, but I was able to pick up 9mm ammo without any issues - talk about timing! Great place overall read more

I came here and it was semi busy, so I waited about 15 mins the bearded gentleman with glasses was trying to help two customers at the same time back and forth so I can't blame him. I noticed they had another section a law enforcement side. It's impossible that there's only one employee here, one side was super busy and the other side the guys were just hanging around talking and laughing. I guess it's true they really don't care about customers. Yeah this place isn't all that great either. The selection is so bad they had one full show case of glocks and a few sigs. And bunch of old nasty use rifles on the walls. Trust me guys burbank has better selection. read more

I called today (10/3/18) and asked if they could order a .22lr and the price. I was told, "Come in and we'll help you". I politely said, "No thank you" and hung up. In 2018, 1) who doesn't give a price by phone or internet? 2) who would drive 5, 10, 25 miles in LA traffic JUST to get a price quote? Or, find out they don't carry that model? Ridiculous. Not knowing a ton about guns, and after discussing the reason for my purchase, Art showed me several different options that would suite my need in a range of prices. Once I decided on my purchase Art took care of everything, and explained the entire process. These gentlemen do not bargain in good faith. I went there to sell a used gun, which always involves some haggling about the price. They said one price, and after some haggling, I agreed on their price. He then says that he never said that price, and he and his buddies all agreed, yeah he originally said a lower price! I have read some bad reviews about this place, but I think a lot of it is misinformation at best, sometimes ignorance from some customers,myself included. I went to check for a pistol I wanted, they didnt have it, which has been the norm in other gun shops around the area, due to current events. I spoke to a couple of young guys from the store, even if they didnt have what i wanted, they suggested to look online, when i asked if they took orders shipped to them as ffl from other places? No problem, they never pushed me to buy from them. I found my pistol online and shipped to them. First problem,could not start dros al i recently moved and bought my truck. i hadnt received my reg either and my license wasnt real ID. Even after a couple of trips and me getting frustrated and a bit flustered with low sugar, they were nice and professional, even if I admit Im not an easy customer, specially when hangry. And it was so upsetting I couldnt even start the process for dros in a gun i had already paid for! One of the managers I think, not only offered to hold it for me, without any extra storagage charges until I got my paperwork straight, but also one of their staff even gave me a chocolate bar when I mentioned my diabetes being an issue that makes it worse when i get frustrated. Once I got all my paperwork straight with dmv , real ID, car reg, etc, I started dros with no issues , young staff there was really helpful with process, even taking me in at closing time to get it started. When I was able to go pick up my pistol, it was nice and easy, the young woman who helped me was mot only really nice , but also efficient and professional. I have read some reviews about this place being rude , even racist; well, for those people I can honestly say they are all wrong. yes ,they are strict becuase they have to and even i understood that once i talked to someone i know with more experience in gun shops. As to the racist part, I am latino , i am big , mean looking, bald with a big beard and i do not dress fancy, nonetheless, I can say i did not see the racist part and they were nice and professional all the time, even when I wasnt, so I do recommend this shop! read more

I cannot understand why anyone would rate gun gallery less than 5 stars unless they are the competition. A few months ago I decided that I needed to get a gun for self defense and being a newbie to the gun buying experience, I will admit I was a tad intimidated walking into a gun shop. I decided to visit Gun Gallery as it was the closest store to my workplace. Upon walking in, I was promptly greeted by a gentleman, his name was Robert and he is the owner I presume, as all the other reps were busy with other customers. Upon telling him that I was looking for a handgun, he asked me a few questions and started showing me various types of handguns and explaining the differences between each model and provided personal suggestions based on the info I had given. We finally decided on a Glock 22 as he thought this gun would be best for my situation. As far as the price, it was reasonable, which I later found out, and Robert even threw in some bullets just to sweeten the deal and ensure that I was satisfied. I have no doubt that the guys working here know their stuff, enjoy their line of work and happy to help you find whatever you need. They also tell great stories and readily give their personal opinion on various products if asked - which I appreciate. The paperwork process was also quick and painless and after ten days I picked up my gun. From what I hear, they are also a certified gun dealer, so if you need them to assist you in transferring a weapon, they can accommodate you. In closing, you know you're in the right place when you see numerous law enforcement officers come in to purchase, which occurred both times I was there. So fellow yelpers, if you need a gun, go in and talk to Robert or any of his guys and I am sure they will be more than happy to help you out. read more

I went there twice, first just to get information what paperwork I need to bring to buy my first gun there. The big man with a beard told me very briefly that I need the Real ID and car registration. Next week I came back with both of those but there was a different guy, he said I need notarized lease contract but I could still buy a gun and bring it later when I pick it up in 10 days. I told him what kind of gun I want and he kept pushing me something else. Know-it-all pushy arrogant salesman is probably the worst thing for the business. I went to Burbank and bought a gun there even without damn notarized lease contract. Never coming here again. read more

I recently bought Glock 19 from this shop. They were courteous, led me through the process of getting my firearm safety certificate, etc. No problems there. Two issues: First, I missed a question on my FSC (I said you had to be 21 to buy gun in CA; test said it was 18; maybe the test was out of date or just poorly worded). I also found it curious that I had to ask what that question was as the guy administering the test didn't feel compelled to clarify the issue. It's a gun safety test and I would have thought that even if you passed the test, you would want to tell the applicant which safety questions they got wrong. You're selling this person a gun, after all. Second, I must confess to a little disappointed that they sold me a GEN3 without disclosing the fact that there are newer generations of this gun on the market. I feel that they took advantage of someone not intimately familiar with the different models of this gun, in order to unload some old inventory. If they told me, I'm not sure I would have minded, but I now no longer trust these guys. read more

Avoid. Bad and unhelpful customer service. Waited in line for an hour outside in the heat, as they were only allowing a couple of individuals in at a time due to COVID-19. After I was allowed in, I informed the employee at the front that I am here to take a Firearm Safety Certificate test and subsequently purchase a firearm. He declined and said "We only give the test if you purchase a gun.". I asked if they had a commonly stocked firearm that I'm interested in purchasing: "No.". Can you order it, if I place the purchase right now? "No.". Ok, what do you have? "What is on the shelf.". Their shelves are mostly bare with only a few overpriced and underwhelming firearms. A waste of time going to this business. They have zero desire to help you unless you are Armenian and want some overpriced and undesirable item off their shelf. Save yourself the wait and frustration and take your business elsewhere. Better options in Burbank, for sure. read more

Went in to get a couple mags for a Glock 21. Guy dug them out of a drawer - one wasnt even in packaging and then proceeded to charge me $40 each. Found out later Glockmeister has them for $22 bucks each right now. The guy wasn't friendly at all and after purchasing I was looking at pistols and didnt even ask me if I wanted to see anything. Okay by me though... this is the most expensive gun store I've ever been to and believe me I've been to a few. That fact coupled with the unfriendly service means I wont ever go back. I'll go up to Bakersfield Ammo and Gun. Great prices and friendly service. Got my Glock 21 there with my GSSF discount for $552 out the door. This place will be out of business once the new laws hit and they can no longer sell their overpriced AR's, etc. read more

I've never owned a firearm as a civilian and expected the process to be an arduous & complex task in the state of CA. Fortunately I called the first number within the Yelp directory & spoke to Kam; a sales associate and firearms expert at this location. Within 20 minutes I arrived and Cam gave me a surgical breakdown of every firearm within reach. I fell in love with the thunder shock volley fire, a unique firearm that I only imagined existed in Wild West video games like Red Dead Redemption. I took the test (so easy) shortly after & completed the registration, fingerprint, and payment process. Will definitely make this my home location when it comes to firearms and accessories. Felt like I was at Disney World the whole time. Kam is definitely the real MVP & my future point of contact anytime I visit this location. To be honest the entire staff was really cool & down to earth. Can't wait to visit again in 10 days to pick up my new firearm. read more
