Uneducated staff, we're so far into technology , how come they can't input my debit card manually, wth, they can swipe it but refused to type it . They said won't do it , I asked you won't or you can't ? Manager replies , they won't . Disappointed my children

It was nice visiting the water park

I really enjoyed Lions Park. You can't bring outside food in but that's okay. The place is surrounded with lifeguards, inside and outside of the water. I love that you can walk into the water. I hurt my foot the other day so it was nice that I didn't have to climb and out of the pool. The water is very refreshing. Even on the hottest of days, with the fountains and sprinklers everywhere you will definitely stay cool. The staff and lifeguards were very nice. It's nice to be around friendly faces and feel safe while you have a good time. I will definitely return.

Wanted to do something for my family. It was hot so we decided to come here. Everything was enjoyable. My family stayed for about 4 hours and they didn't want to leave. The restrooms were very clean. They do not allow outside foods or drinks. They amount that we paid to get in was reasonable. 5 for kids and 7 for adults. They also have good food and drinks to sale. I must say I will be returning. Great place to have quick fun time.

I took my nine-year-old niece here today for our first ever trip. It really is a great layout and an excellent place to spend a hot day. I've made a list below of why I scored it as I did: Pros: -GREAT layout-very shallow end for small kids with flowing and spraying water; huge, fast slides for the big kids -Separate diving pool -Four water slides in varying degrees of speed and excitement -Shaded areas with chaise loungers -VERY cheap admission -Life guards EVERYWHERE -You are allowed to leave the park and re-enter Cons: -No food or drinks allowed (not even a water bottle). Your bag is searched upon entry -Expensive snacks ($3 for a handful of nachos, $2 for a hotdog) -No lockers for your valuables, you have to hope no one notices your bag is unattended -Bathrooms don't get much attention, no soap in sight -No showers on site -Many chairs were broken and there wasn't enough seating for the adults -Park doesn't open until 11:00 a.m. All-in-all, what would have cost us $27 in Belton (just the admission), cost us $20 (entry and cost of snacks and drinks). Still a better deal, especially if you have the whole family in tow.

This place is reasonable for what you get!

This park is cool . Even my 30 year old daughter had fun. We were playing with my three grandchildren.

I enjoyed the park but kind of upset they closed for the season in Sept 4th. We still have summer days left. :(

The aquatic center consists of 4 slides a diving board and 2 pools. It's pretty good and cheap I go here every summer!

I saw many people eating in their cars and returning inside. Will definitely be back but only when they have ticket sales. Tickets at regular price for $$$

Very fun, nice, conveniently located waterpark in Round Rock! Excellent place to kick off summer…read moreand enjoy a day out with the family. Friendly for kids of all ages with different sections offering slides, a lazy river, wave pool, and experiences for all age groups. My daughters (ages 7 and 3) particularly loved the kids slide section and the wave pool. I did see quite a few dead bugs and leaves in the lazy river and wave pool which was a little off putting. They have lockers to store belongings, as well as clean bathrooms and changing rooms onsite. They also offer a variety of food choices which are pretty good & reasonably priced. Very few crowds if you arrive right at opening time. I was happy to see there were no lines at all for the slides. They open a half hour early for season pass members; general admission is 11am. Definitely worth checking out for a day of family fun in the hot TX summer!

I want to thank the lifeguard staff for being very understanding and patient with my 6year old non verbal autistic son. They were accommodating when i explained he has trouble understanding commands while upholding safety rules. They let him idle in areas that weren't in use. When explained his behaviors they didn't make us feel unwelcome. Just for how the staff treated us, I would deff come back!! For $20 bucks I think this is a great place! My family who lives here said they've never seen it not busy BUT it was great for us. Two big water slides that are pretty darn fast. One person only at a time, you can't have a life vest one. One slide you need a tube. The lazy river was pretty nice and calm. They have an outdoor sand volleyball court (looks like 12u height). Had a little ceasar's pizza and nachos's (didn't care for the sauce). Nice big water pool and a shallower area for the kids. Although I imagine it gets crazy busy during the summer, i glad we came here when we did . Thank you!

Went here with family while visiting Belton for a few days. I haven't been to water park in ages!…read moreSo it was a nice way to cool off in the Texas heat for the afternoon. It's a basic waterpark. - 2 big slides. One of which being a tube slide. - an area for little kids and toddlers. - lazy river. - swing thing. - cabanas and reserved tables. - snack stand - general store - bathrooms. There really isn't an area where you go and get tubes from a pile. You just kinda have to scope out the lazy river and find a tube that's abandoned. The big slides are CRAZY fast! I am telling you to watch out for the tube slide that's multicolored! The speed I was going was nuts, combined with the fact it had me going backwards unintentionally was kinda scary. I got a bruise trying to position myself so I could drop out into the pool without seriously flipping over or injuring myself. The bruise is still visible 2 days later. I didn't wanna ride that slide anymore. Didn't trust it. All in all, it's a nice little park where you can beat the heat. If you don't mind crowds or tons of people in a lazy river. It's not horrible but it's not awe inspiring either lol.

Let me preface by saying I never write bad reviews. But for safety reasons I had to write this one,…read moreand if you don't have time to read it all let me just start by saying please just go literally anywhere else for your child's safety. So first of all, there are 4 larger water slides. And probably 3 or so smaller ones. They have a total of 2 lifeguards on watch. One lifeguard sits at a chair "watching over" the smaller, right side of the park. And the other one switching between the top of the larger water slides every so often depending on which is busier. There are multiple lifeguards but only 2 out on the park floor at a time, all very young teenagers. Not a single adult working there. I think that is a huge problem in itself but let me go on. I watched my 4 yr old like a hawk the whole time we were there because the lifeguards obviously weren't paying attention, lots of older kids running around, etc. I watch my son go down the larger slide. I'm waiting at the bottom for him for 5 minutes. Still hasn't came out. I go to the top to look down the slide where there should've been a lifeguard but no one to be found. I go to the lifeguard sitting in the chair at the front and tell him that my 4 yr old went down and has not came out yet and I think he's stuck in the slide. He ARGUES WITH ME and says "no I've been watching and there's no one in the slide" UMMMM WHAT?!! Obviously realizing they could care less about my child or any children there, and I don't have time to argue because I'm worried about my 4 yr old, I rush back to the top of the slide and go down it and what do u know, my son was stuck in the middle of the pitch black loop of the slide, terrified and crying. This is totally unacceptable, I don't even have words. Hopefully that's enough to let you know this is not the place to go but if not, let me move on to my next complaint. There was a group of older kids constantly trying to climb up the larger water slides in the back that no one can see unless you walk back there. Which in the 3 hours I was there not one lifeguard walked back there or even glanced to check on anything. The first time I notified the lifeguard about the kids going up the slide, she went back there and told them that's not allowed. Then they kept doing it and multiple other parents complained as well. The second time I complained that they were still doing it and almost seriously injured my 4 yr old, the lifeguard said "oh I know I already told them to stop". Ummmm okay??? So you're just going to keep letting them do it putting all the other kids at danger?? At MINIMUM their parent should've been notified but in my opinion they should've been asked to leave after the 3rd complaint/telling them to stop. Honestly I could go on and on but I don't have all day. I truly just hope they increase the amount of lifeguards and hire experienced lifeguards that actually care about children's safety and at minimum have one adult employee on-site.
