I've been going to Guns Warehouse since they opened a few years ago. They are, without a doubt, the best gun shop I've ever been to in Central Texas. Professional, knowledgeable, polite and friendly staff. They won't "bend the truth" simply to upsell a product you don't need and they give both beginners and seasoned shooters straight answers to whatever questions they may have. I just walked into the Guns Warehouse to look at purchasing a new shotgun and I stood there for several minutes with at least four employees standing down at the end of the counter shooting the bull. I think there was one other customer in the store. A couple of the employees glanced up at me but never acknowledged me in any way whatsoever. It was very obvious that their conversation and clowning around was more important than taking care of their customers. I've purchased a couple of guns here in the past but won't be returning. Don't trust this place. Most of the guys behind the counter are great. But the owner is shady and is taking advantage of his customers. I actually don't mind the high prices - it's gouging but it is a supply / demand. But all sales are final - even when the product is defective or not delivered. My friend had referred me to guns warehouse for a new hand gun. My friend is the type of guy who's hard to please so his referral carry a lot of weight with me. I have some experience with hand guns. He has considerably more than my self. The store was vary informative and was able get a used glock at a great price. The service was awesome, not like the big box stores I visited before. I have been to most of the gun shops in Austin and the surrounding area. One thing that is noticeable in many of the shops is that they are condescending If you don't know exactly what you are talking about when you walk in the door. If a gun comes in various versions, safety/no-safety etc. they will treat you like an idiot for not knowing. This is not at all the case with the Guns Warehouse. They are open to questions of all sorts from all sorts of gun buyers. If you are new to guns I would suggest you visit these guys before some of the other places. You will probably figure out what you are looking for and then learn a little something extra along the way. read more

Found this place in the Community paper. I had a S&W 38 that was really hurting my hand to go to the range & shoot it. But as a female, unsure of how to "sell" a gun. Aaron was very helpful & listen to my concerns, etc. He suggested a light weight semi-auto. Not pushy at all. In fact I did a selling of my 38 to the shop & put that money toward the new purchase. They took away the headache, provided a superior product, gave good advice, a resource to improve my marksmanship & now a trusted store IMHO. Most of the guys in the shop are very helpful and I have been going here for awhile. I recently went to pick up a new carry handgun and offered a cash price which I was told would not be happening and they are not accepting cash discounts at this time. They are a bit overpriced on firearms and ammunition, but I like to support local shops so I went ahead and bought it. However, after getting on here and seeing that they allowed cash prices for other customers has changed my mind on where I plan on doing business from now on. The handgun I purchased was not a cheap one either and it was in stock elsewhere for more than $150 less and another dealer had it for $200 less, but as I said, I prefer to support local and the offer I made was still higher than the competitor's pricing. This was my favorite shop in town but after this, I can no longer support this dealer. read more

Huge inventory very knowledgeable sale staff not your usual gun store very friendly .Full AR stuff and hand guns

Bought my Aero lower for the tagged price of $359 and charged it on my card for that price. I came back a month later to buy the matching upper it was $420 and they said if I wanted to put it on my card it would be 3% more. I walked out as a matter of principle I could care less about the twelve bucks. I like businesses to be CONSISTENT. I spoke with Aaron on the phone and he said don't worry he would take care of me as he was my original salesman that sold me my lower for $359 and put it on my credit card with no surcharge. Came back 5 days later to buy the upper and to my astonishment the $420 upper was now jacked up to $475. He acted dumb and said look there $475 and started pulling three or four off the rack. Do not go to this bait-and-switch price gouging shop. Bunch of liars !!! They act like they're the only game in town and have you over a barrel (literally). I refuse to do business with folks like this when there are other dealers like GT in town. These are crap business people who don't know how to retain a customer. read more

Last Saturday was my wife's and mine 41st w the day . ( Best day ever!) LOL . I went in this shop last Saturday evening and accidentally found a CZ handgun that I never thought I would ever see anytime soon. Honestly I was convinced they were unicorns of a sort. Lots of guns and lot's of friendly people. Luckily I had two days to research the gun I Found because they were closed Sunday and Monday. I was worried that the thing would be gone by the time I got back because that's life sometimes. It was a little of Love at first sight for me and it's really cool when you find something that catches your eye and feels perfect in your hand and then you get a chance to figure out what it is before it disappears. This whole Covid thing has been a nightmare for everybody and especially our businesses that or more old-school like this one. Personally I had an awesome experience with my son today in that shop. I don't think anybody in that store today seemed unhappy to me.We really appreciate all the attention we got and I've never had a More pleasant time buying a gun. I had the opportunity to transfer a Class III weapon through this fantastic gun shop in Cedar Park. Toward the end of my wait on paperwork from ATF, I contacted this store about 3 times. I, on all occasions, received the best treatment and service anyone could expect. During these times when some gun shops seem to think you are doing them a favor by coming to their shop, I found this store to provide friendly and professional service all the time.
