UPDATE: It has been a month since my surgery! It is an understatement to say that Dr. Gupta did amazing and beautiful work. What I said in my initial review remains true, even for his staff, like Raegan and Sara. I have enjoyed all my interactions with them as they are all as professional as they are charismatic and personable. 1-week post-op was stitches and initial healing. Then a 2-week follow-up. Protocol for now and for the next few months is to stop by their office once a month so that Dr. Gupta can monitor the surgery site. Of course, there will be a scar, but I can tell that it will be minimal as the months progress. Dr. Gupta has provided me with homework between my monthly visits, which is to put on scar cream and sunscreen, and protect the area from the sun to minimize -- you guessed it -- the appearance of the scarring. A good ol' bandage works, too. 5/5 would recommend Dr. Gupta and will pass along his name to family and friends. I had my first appointment with Dr Gupta on 5/6 for breast reduction surgery. From my first phone call and appointment I was impressed with how I was treated by Dr Gupta and his scheduling partner Paulette. I was treated with respect and all my questions and concerns were answered. I scheduled my surgery and everything was moving along. Unfortunately there were some issues with my doctors office who needed to schedule a post op EKG. Sadly things did not go as planned. The Gupta Superheroes swooped in with their capes to get everything taken care of so I could go on my trip then come back and have my surgery. I'll start this by saying I'm writing this under my husbands account, I am a real woman with a real review. If I could rate this Dr a "zero" I would. I'm 59, I had implants for over 30 years. Back in late 2019, my left one was getting capsulated so my GP suggested we start looking into an explant and sent me to Dr Gupta. I wasn't thrilled with his bedside manner but he did seem to know what he was talking about. He reviewed the MRI my GP ordered, and said we should take them out ASAP. I left with a sick, dread feeling, but I chalked it up to nerves. I wanted the explant, but...2020 happened and then...life. I put it off due to many factors. May of 2024, my right implant ruptured. Went to my GP and he sent me back to Gupta. First thing he said was "You STILL have them?" Raised his voice and condescendingly told me that because I waited so long, the procedure would be quite harder and he could "see" and feel that I barely had any breast tissue left. He also said my skin was so thin that I should expect them to look terrible (he used that word), I would have empty sacs but in 6 months after explant we could do another procedure to fix them (I said I did not want any more implants and he didn't say anything). I asked if he could maybe leave what good breast tissue there was in my right breast, he said NO, he does not "chase silicone", he would need to take it all out. I asked if I was getting any testing, ultrasound, MRI, even Xray, the answer was "No, I am very experienced, I can feel the silicone all throughout the breast". My husband was with me and we both kind of looked at each other in shock as we left his office with me in tears. I let it sink in a few days and decided there was no way I would do the surgery with him. After a hunt for a new PS, I found one that I loved. She wouldn't even see me without Ultrasound and MRI. When I met with her she was very calm and understanding, said she couldn't tell me how much breast tissue I had but she recommended the explant then in 6 months we could always do a lift if I was unhappy. I finally had my surgery 2 weeks ago. First of all, I LOVED my surgeon, the exact opposite of Gupta, she listened, cared and was gentle. Second, I still have tons of breast tissue. I am a small "C" now (!!), which was pretty much was I was before I got implants. My husband and I are shocked at how I look, we expected the worst because of the fear Gupta spewed. Third, the silicone was not "all over my breast just free in there" like he said. She said she didn't have to "chase silicone", she removed the implants and capsules and left everything else. To say I love them is an understatement. 420 cc of toxic bags are out and I am still left looking like a WOMAN. I just know that would not have happened with this Dr who has a big ego and zero bedside manner. My advice? Even if he seems good, interview a few Drs, especially when it comes to breast surgery!!!! read more

From start to finish Dr Gupta and Sara Sanders rolled out the red carpet for me. I had my first surgery 11 years ago with implants, I had known for a while that I wanted to get a breast lift with augmentation. I had been so nervous about finding a doctor that will put up with all my questions and all my neediness that would come behind it. So I finally did it I booked my appointment with Dr. Gupta and by the time I left I was booking my surgery date. My surgery was on a Tuesday and because my husband had to work he wasn't able to come to any of the prior appointments so the office actually let my husband come in and talk to Dr. Gupta before the surgery, with so many restrictions with Covid I couldn't believe they were gonna let him come in and actually talk to the doctor. That really set all my nerves to ease before surgery. When I woke from the surgery the pain was unbearable, but the entire staff at the surgery center sprung into action and mad me feel like I was their daughter and they were going to take care of me. In the next few days to follow I must have called Sara 3 to 4 times a day with questions, and every time she answers the phone with nothing but a smile on her voice. Lol. I am talking Saturday and Sunday when I know she is at home with her family she's still answered tending to me and making sure I didn't feel bad about it. I went to Gupta for a consultation a few years ago but decided to wait on the surgery because of my age but at that time he was fairly decent back then. I recently scheduled another consultation (years later) because I remembered his name. From my understanding from my discussions with his administrative assistant- consultations (even secondary ones years later) were supposed to be free but I was still billed later on. It ended up only being 25 with insurance but he charged my insurance 285 so be very careful before falling into this trap because if you decide not to go with him, he will charge insurance and you-and I could only imagine what it would be like without insurance. Furthermore, this time a female nurse did not come in with him and my mother was not present because of Covid restrictions which is fine. What wasn't fine was now that there is not another female present in the room, his bed side manner was awful. I felt violated after leaving because he would just manhandle you without giving you any indication of what he was about to do or asking if you were comfortable with what he was going to do. I understood there would be some physical touch based on the overall operation I was looking at having done but for him to pinch and twist and do highly inappropriate things to my body without giving any warning it was disgusting. I told my family and my partner who all urged me to speak up. I was going to leave it at just telling them and trying to work through the stress this has caused me on my own but after being charged a bill for an experience that was nothing less than traumatizing I only hope that this review spares any woman from being put in this position. He should not be using Covid restrictions as a means to act this way since he is now in rooms alone with patients. I went to Dr. Gupta to fix my botched breast augmentation done by a Doctor in Scottsdale, AZ. It is crazy what Gupta is capable of. My breasts are night and day, I couldn't believe how well he did with what he had to work with. My case seemed so unfixable since my right implant fell into my stomach and my left breast was so saggy (which was the one that was supposed to have a lift) but Gupta was able to make them look almost completely symmetrical. Dr. Gupta was the only surgeon I went to for a consultation. He was highly recommend by some of the anesthesiologists I work with that have worked with him. I wanted an augmentation and lift after breastfeeding and pumping left my breast completely flat. I knew doing a lift makes the procedure more complicated. Dr Gupta explained everything in detail to me and I agreed to have it done. After a month or 2 after the surgery, I noticed the implants looked to be settling more in my armpit area and were a little too far apart due to a muscle band pushing the implant. As with any surgery, I know there was a risk of anything happening. I scheduled a revision and had it done a couple weeks better. That was about 2 months ago and now they look so much better. He really did a great job fixing the issue. I've gotten so many compliments and am very happy with the results. Dr. Gupta is very professional and straightforward. His office asked that I send my medical files over before my appointment (normal). When I got there, the assistant showed me into the exam room and asked me to remove my top and change into a gown. I refused and she said she thought I was there for a breast consultation (I was there for a small growth on my face). While I am confident enough to question someone asking me to unnecessarily remove my top, I feel badly for the next patient who isn't as savvy. Then Dr Gupta comes in, calls me by the wrong name (which always instills confidence in a patient), ignores my extended hand and immediately hands me a hand mirror without telling me why. After questioning him, he said he didn't review the medical records I sent to his office weeks before my appointment. Yup, the same records his staff said he HAD to have before he saw me. When I expressed concerns about scarring, he condescendingly said "of course there will be a scar". For the record, my dermatologist sent me there to AVOID a scar ON MY FACE. After less than 10 mins (I'm not even sure he was with me for more than 7 mins), he says over his shoulder "talk to my staff to set up the procedure" as he walked out of the room. Needless to say, he will not be doing my procedure and after I told my dermatologist what happened (she was not happy), I doubt she'll be referring patients to him again I don't know what his surgical skills are but I do know he missed the class in bedside manner in medical school. read more

I had MOHS surgery for a large BCC on my upper forehead Nov 2019 that left a two inch diameter, deep wound with exposed bone. After two follow up visits with the MOHS surgeon and a consultation with a wound care team I was feeling hopeless. When my PCP saw the wound she made a peer to peer call to Dr Gupta who made time to see me the very next morning. He expressed confidence that the wound could be healed at the very first consultation. Dr Gupta performed a skin graft and flap over the wound in early March and although I still have many more months of healing the wound has been successfully covered.
