The kind of flavor only an old, greasy griddle can give you... And I mean that in the best way possible. This is a no frills breakfast and lunch spot with very good prices and friendly service. I opted for the bacon breakfast burrito and was not disappointed. The tortilla had good grill marks and the eggs were fluffy and perfectly wrapped around bacon and hash browns. Can't ask for much more than that! I took it to go because I was on the road but there are a couple tables inside. Not the greatest seating section so maybe go find a park if you need a certain ambiance.

Food here is made with love and never disappoints! I've been coming here for many years and this place always has that home cooked vibe. Don't be deterred by the hole in the hall feel, these women behind the counter know what they're doing. I will be returning weekly for their bacon breakfast burritos.

Gus's breakfast sandwich with bacon on white, no hot sauce, no hash browns. Think: BLT with an egg and cheese. The best!!

Are used to come this establishment over 20 years ago. I felt like reminiscing over my childhood and decided to take a drive. What a disappointment... Considering I cam all the way from Gilroy. I wish I would've gone to the taco place next-door Rico's tacos. I looked at all the different menu photos nothing looked very appetizing. A lot of the photos do not correlate what is up on their menu. Not sure what is available and what's not. I decided to order their patty melt. What can you possibly screw up on a patty melt? I asked how it was prepared I was told with mayo, sauce, tomato and lettuce... Which is not what a traditional patty melt is. A patty melt is a hamburger patty with grilled onions, Swiss cheese (it has holes) and thousand Island dressing between two toasted slices of rye bread. Sometimes it includes pickles. When I opened up my sandwich to take a look at it... It was pathetic... Minimal grilled onions and you can't even called them grilled because there was no color to them... Grilled onions usually have a brown caramel color... the cheese wasn't even melted...Zip zero nada. With great sadness and disappointment I walked up to the owner/cook and asked a bout the sauce, she became very rude and offensive and said I told you there was only mayo. I asked by chance if they had any thousand Island dressing and she stated "no, only ranch." I took the ranch and thought that would maybe be helpful. I decided to taste it before spreading it on my dry melt, it was just some cheap bottled sauce it tasted nasty I decided just to eat my poor little patty melt the way it was given to me Unfortunately, they are condiment bar does not exist. There are packets of salt, pepper, and ketchup. If there would've been some mayo and relish I could've made my own thousand Island dressing. I am so disgusted. I would not come back to this location ever, for anything. Maybe they do a decent breakfast... I can get decent a lot closer to home.

Gosh it's been years since I've been to Gus's Meat & Deli. Apparently he no longer owns it "for like the last 13 years!!!, boy have I been out of the loop" Gus use to have Gyro meat on a spike over his stove that he would slice. "No longer" (I digress) Inside they have an easy to read menu and great pictures of the food items on the wall. I ordered my old go to the Gyro in a pita wrap (comes with Chunks of Gyro meat, raw onions, tomatoes and some kind of sauce) overall I thought it was quite good. Wifey ordered the Gus's special 3 eggs, 2 slices of bread, hash browns, bacon and sausage. The eggs were good the hash browns (frozen) the bacon rubbery sad face definitely not the Gus's of yesteryears. The service was good 4 stars The hood top was filthy "and I mean F-I-l-t-h-y" Overall 2.5 stars. I would have gave them 3 if the stove top was clean.

They checked in on us regularly throughout our meal and bussed our dirty dishes quickly. We ordered the draft root beer, bone-in buffalo wings, large brew city grill pizza, and Steve Austin burger. The root beer was fine, but my fiance and I weren't sure if it was anything special. The wings were good. They were coated in a healthy amount of sauce and had a decent crisp. My pizza was a good size and super cheesy. I liked the combination of toppings. The crust was flaky, but a little bland. I still enjoyed it overall. My fiancés burger and onion rings were good. He said he'd order it again. Overall, this place is pretty good. I think it's an ideal spot for casual food and drinks with friends or a quick family/date night!

The provolone was also square shaped on the burger and only covered about 3/4 of it, so I'm guessing they just used the presliced sandwich slices. They also used what I guess was about 1/4 of an avocado. Sooooo.... Not exactly worth it or what I expected. The burger wasn't bad mind you, just average and not juicy at all. The rest of my group all got 6 oz cheeseburgers which looked very blah. I will say, the French fries were good. Very crispy and soft inside. Probably the high point of the meal. There's not really any service to speak of as they take your order at the counter by the door then you come up and get your food yourself, and they expect you to bus your own tables. So consider tipping optional and unnecessary. Inside it's a bit old and a bit rundown. Not dirty but not well maintained either. The only reason I came was because we wanted to get sliders, which as far as I can tell they don't even sell. So the name is a misnomer. The total for everything was around $80. This place fails the "is it better than In-n-Out" test, so that price is just ridiculous. I won't be back.

Ordering was a little cumbersome for our first time friends. The full menu is not visible over the registers so if you had never been there you would think they only had a few things to choose from. Not the best sales method. The facility is quite stark. All hard surfaces, small dining area, horrendous chairs that scrape the concrete floor. Definitely not a place I would choose to dine in. The workers seemed nice but not expedient. It took time to get our order and by the time we got our food, the fries seemed old and dry. The burger was good but not exceptional. The product does not look quite like the photos. The chicken sandwich was 'good'. It had promise with the Korean properties but missed the mark with no flavor really standing out. At least it was moist. The spicy caramel shake wasn't bad. It had good flavor and was smooth. I would've preferred more spice but I appreciate the premise. I've had better experiences at other locations so I may be willing to try it again. Most likely not this location.

I went on a Sunday afternoon post-church, and it was pretty slammed lots of kids and football fans. I actually had to ask someone to wipe down a table for us, so definitely a "help yourself" kind of vibe. My friend and I had a bit of a communication breakdown. I was thinking a light salad; he was thinking beer and pizza. Since they don't do wine by the glass, I ended up with a $17 mini bottle. It was okay, but $17 for a single-serve is a stretch, not exactly a wine lover's paradise. The food was a mixed bag. The pizza was definitely the star; you can tell it's made with love and not some big-box chain stuff. The salad was fresh, but the chicken was pretty bland. I didn't mind it, but my friend was not impressed. Between the wine and the lack of listening on his part, even with my coupon, the bill hit $71 for a pizza, a salad, and a tiny bottle of wine. I miss the days when a casual lunch didn't hurt the wallet so much! Still, the decor is cool and it's a solid spot for a group hangout.

They were supposed to do a chicken breast, as opposed to the cut up strips, but it turned out to be OK because it was still pretty good quality. Just knocking off a star for that, otherwise overall a great deal, under $20 with tax and tip! The sandwiches are still a good portion size. Their pizzas have actually gone down in size though (and up in price)so just keep that in mind if you haven't been in a while. Overall, the best value for a pub in the Campbell area.
