When I brought my van in on October 22,2024 I explained there were noises coming from underneath the van. They could not give me a ride , so I had to make arrangements to get a ride to work. They called me to say the van was ready for pickup and they found the exhaust system heat shield on the down pipe loose and rattling and they re-secured it and the noise was gone The total bill was $72.01. However, the noise persist so I took it to another mechanic. The diagnosis was the Left and Right Front Sway Bar Links needed replaced and the repair was done. Since then , the noise was eliminated. They were efficient and friendly people. They charged me what was quote. Smith and sons is the true American business and we need more of this in America. They are next door to a busy pilot but have their own space. I was able to park for the evening and on the road the next day. They have a significant 24 hr mobile service and do hundreds of tires a month.
