Honest mechanic is not an oxymoron here. It's a father-son outfit, their dog is super friendly, and Norma, the office manager, is super friendly and helpful also. They are apparently also one of the few shops in the area that work on Subarus aside from the dealers. And I trust dealers even less than your typical mechanic. I'm new to the area, and after one negative experience, I'm so thankful to have found a mechanic I can trust, especially one that is within walking distance of my house. read more

Update: Owner Greg reached out to me regarding this issue and he did give me a refund for the difference to make it right. Read reviews about this place and decided to give it a try. They have a long list of appointments so be prepared for it to take a couple days to bring your car in which was no problem. The problem is when I called I was quoted $40 to have my car looked at and I did let them know over the phone what I needed and what I knew was wrong with my car. They called me with a priority list of what was wrong with my car which was great! The only bad thing is the pulled a BAIT AND SWITCH. If I was quoted $40 and it was going to be more than the quoted price I should have received a call with permission to go forward. I went in to get my car and it was $100. All I can say is it is great customer service to call someone when they are going to be paying more. Rest assured I will NOT be coming back read more

Hands down the Most Trustworthy and Honest auto shop I have EVER encountered! My wife and I were on a transcon drive from NY to Utah. Our older model import broke down and we suspected severe mechanical problems. To our utter amazement, Nora and Greg at Import Auto helped us box our personal things and actually drove us to the airport. Not long after Greg called to report the problems with the car were in-fact quite minor and it was up and running.
