I took my Ryobi there for warranty work. I was told it would be 2-3 weeks to complete. After 2 weeks I called and was told it needed a part that Ryobi could no longer get. Jim handled all the necessary paperwork to have this mower replaced. It took another 4 weeks for the replacement. In the meantime, they had my battery and battery charger. I received my battery back, but they said they couldn't find my battery charger! I called several times because they told me they were looking for it. I never received a phone call back saying anything. They made NO attempt to offer a replacement. I had to purchase another charger! I will NEVER go back there again! read more

So the next day I did get an email stating that they should have the part by the middle of next month??? And then be able to ship it to me by the end of next month. I replied that wasn't going to work for me and to cancel my order. They canceled my order and issued a refund minus a $5.46 processing fee. Not worth disputing with my cc company. Apparently these guys offer you what you need and then set about (maybe) trying to procure the item. Received the part on Tuesday July 15th. I just finished installing it myself, and my hedge trimmer works like new! Zero problems with M&D's order, turnaround and delivery service at all. Wasted my time and money with these guys by ordering a part on 5/30/23. Website said in stock, then get an email that it's backordered after taking the order. Ok. I waited till 9/7/23 and sent an email to follow up. Get a reply from Brittny same day "item is still on back order, once we get more it will be shipped out and tracking will be sent via email". Next day 9/8 another email from Brittny "your part is here and is ready to ship but the default shipping rate is not enough to cover all shipping costs. In order to get these out to you we will need an additional $20 for shipping. Please let us know how you want to proceed"...WHAT? Even sellers on ebay don't pull this kind of crap once you've paid! As a business you took an order, made me wait 4 months then tell me you want me to pay more money just to get my order shipped?? What a joke! My reply: "Hi Brittny, I paid for the shipping that was quoted on your website and expect to get my item accordingly. Well apparently I should have read the 1 star reviews before I paced an order. I have never dealt with sun and unprofessional business. Apparently these people order all their parts once you order from them. They can't seem to get it together. Act like they are some business with a huge warehouse which is actually a small husband and wife shop who has no clue on how to run a shop or be honest. I'm assuming these people are scammers. Stay as far away from this company as you can! You would be better off spending a few extra bucks to order from a company that is actually legitimate. As you can see from their many (MANY) negative reviews they are completely the lower end of the spectrum when it comes to a company that is actually a "company". We ordered a part that was not sized correctly (defective) and we had to pay $84 to ship it back to them and then they took a 25% cut from our refund. For what I have no idea except that you see in super tiny print that there is a 20% restocking fee (yet they took 25%). You try to call them and get either a busy signal or no one answers and you can't leave a message. False advertising, in todays day and age the part should have never been sold, if it was not available, Took my money and now we will see how long it takes to receive the refund. Ordered 2 parts in March. Still nothing. I've called, emailed, and started a paypal claim. It's July 23rd and I still have nothing. They refuse to return one cent of my money. They just keep saying one part is coming and one is still a few weeks away. (They told me this in April but I still haven't received anything.) I spoke with the company told them what I had, that I needed a new motor for my mower, did they carry them. They gave me the part number and ordered it. Upon receiving the part, it proved to be incorrect. I spoke with the company and sent pictures to show them the problem and ask for assistance. Final assessment was to send back the parts which I did to discover that an $80 purchase was costing us almost half that price to return. I am being charged 20% restocking fee and we had to pay for shipping. I spoke with the manager explaining I ordered what they told me to order which was incorrect and should not have to absorb any cost on my part. He refused to refund any of the cost incurred. My husband purchased a part from them on March 9, 2018. The amount was immediately deducted from our checking account. I was having a hard time finding some parts for a Bobcat mower. My order with another company was cancelled due to back order but I needed the parts asap for my customer. I was able to find them at M&D but before I placed the order I emailed and called to make sure they actually had the parts in stock so the order would not get cancelled days later if the part was unavailable. When I called I was very rudely told that they just answered my email and hung up. According to the email they had the parts in stock. I placed the order immediately. Got my emailed order confirmation and never heard anything for a week. 8 Days later I get an email that one of the parts is one backorder. I replied and asked why, when I called and all I got was "Stock changes constantly". That is why I called to verify you actually had it and should have been told before 8 days if you did not. This is the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. Their incompetence now make my business look bad. Do not waste your time here, especially if you are a business that relies on providing good service to your customer. read more
