I really, really stress over dentists and dentistry…read more There are a number of reasons why but I need to be handled with kid gloves or I have an panic attack. Dr. Cleveland literally made fun of my anxieties, suggested I was paranoid and a bad person. He is a wizard with numbing your mouth but was judgmental when I suggested that listening to a crying baby for 45 minutes during my already stressed out condition was not conducive to dental health. Dr. Culley (who I'm told has left the practice), was never satisfied with my oral hygiene and literally told me my teeth would fall out if I don't use floss. One of the hygienists suggested I should have all my teeth removed if I didn't measure up to her level of hygiene. I'm told she's also left the practice. Finally, the desk staff were too harsh in billing problems, calls, etc. After I stopped going to the practice, I got a call from the desk folks telling me it was unprofessional to not notify them I wasn't coming back. Honestly, I didn't tell them because I would have triggered a confrontation. I hope the new staff there is better; I hope they now tell parents with crying children not to reschedule when they have child care. I hope they recognize that folks with anxieties need special care and attention. And I hope that the front desk staff learned that people should be treated with respect and the customer can be rude or difficult but never professional; they seem to forget it's my money that pays for the service and I have the choice to go somewhere else that better caters to my needs.

My original hygienist no longer lives in Ohio, but she did recommend Jennifer at Morey Dental and I am happy every time I visit! Everyone in there is so nice, always smiling and always helpful. No one ignores you or turns their back to you if you're lost in the hallway or Waiting in the waiting room. They are more than happy to help you figure out your insurance coverage. Sometimes it does take a while to get in for an appointment so make sure you schedule ahead of time. I won't complain about that though because it means that they are great at their job! They have upgraded their x-ray machine, now they have a panoramic device to show all the way around the head. I think they're Top Notch and I refer everyone to them.!

The office staff are very personable and do their jobs effectively. Dr. Hawkins does a very thorough initial exam and explains his findings in easy to understand terms. Treatment options are presented in a way that makes me feel that I have all the information to make wise choices.
