They were not even going to notify me they had my $400, much less send me a check. Thankfully $400 is enough to me that I didn't forget about it. The cleaning was fine and the dentist seemed fine although everything was an upsell. I found another dentist. Hope I can ultimately get my money back.

I got a second opinion from another dentist, who said my teeth were perfect. Well, I got the fillings anyways just to be safe (over $600 after insurance) Six months later, on my next visit, they had another dentist look at my teeth, and this time she said I needed 6 more fillings!! Again I got a second opinion, and once again, they said I have no cavities! I should have noticed the red flags when they tried to sell me everything right away, from wisdom tooth removal (mine are completely perfect from enamel to bone) to special toothpastes to mouth guards (I told them repeatedly I have one already). Avoid these guys they act like a shady mechanic trying to sell repairs that you don't need

The floor was under construction adding to the chaos of getting patients to and from the dining hall. Food and Physical therapy department were the only positive sides of the facility. I could tell the aids for the permanent residents were very caring and respectful. I had days I never saw my CNA. From a business standpoint I see Wesley Glenn as a high end Independent living / assisted living facility. The skilled nursing floor was added as a way to keep their residents in house during rehab from age related issues, stroke, falls and breaks etc. I got the minimal care I was there for, my IV infusion 3x a day but that was about it. I felt as if I was a transient patient on Medicare. I sent in a letter with my concerns, never expecting any response and I was right. Not even an acknowledgement form letter.

You move in young, healthy and spry in your 60s and basically have the time of your life. As you get older, additional care and support is there when you need it. The new expansion they're doing, while obviously causing a bit of construction noise/mess now, is going to be AMAZING once it's complete. The Health Center (nursing home) side is wonderful too, once the time comes for that level of care. The people are great - both residents and staff. I love this place and I'm so glad I get to work with the team and residents as part of my day job!
