    Dr. Straker was my dentist throughout middle school and highschool. He's extremely nice and professional and I LOVE the staff.

My retainer fell off, when I went to get it replaced, the wait time was unreasonable and it took the dentist THREE ATTEMPTS to glue on my retainer, while scolding the assistant for being incompetent, at my discomfort- when it was clearly the dentist. His bedside manner was unfathomable, and my retainer fell off THE NEXT MORNING. I should have demanded a refund and warned my girlfriend then. My girlfriend went in last week for a filling that had fallen out, no pain accompanied, but we were going on vacation so she scheduled an appointment bc she didn't want it to cause her discomfort while out of town. It took them 3 HOURS TO SEE HER. An entire day wasted on vacation. My girlfriend was in incredible pain and discomfort during the ENTIRE VACATION, when seen again after week of discomfort and pain the dentist told my girlfriend it was her fault not his. Said he didn't want to examine her In fear of her saying he caused more damage. He argued with her in an open office and was so rude that my girlfriend walked out without being seen. When asked for a total refund for Inadequate services and product, the office refused to refund. Claims they HAVE TO see my girlfriend to issue a refund after My girlfriend expressed that she would not be coming back for a THIRD TIME, or at all after she was so incredibly disrespected BY THE DENTIST. The person we spoke to on the phone (614-948-2388) was exceptionally rude unwilling and unhelpful AND SHES THE MANAGER. Refused to issue a refund then claimed I was threatening her when I told her without refund I would contact The BBB & dispute charges with my credit card. She also called my girlfriend a liar after she mentioned hearing staff talk about using the wrong equipments her intial service. Please beware of this company, their incompetence and poor, POOR customer service. What business doesn't refund a bad product with worse service? SAMPSON DENTAL! You'll notice on every page, Google, Facebook, Yelp, these people are a joke and instead of making it right with their customers they just argue? What kind of customer service is that? An absolute joke of a practice. This business has gone completely down hill since Dr Baddour died.

They frequently reschedule at the last minute due to staffing problems, then expect you to accept inconvenient time slots with no regard for your schedule. The final straw was today's interaction. After they changed my long-standing appointment, I accepted the replacement time and later realized I couldn't make it work and was told I'd be charged a $50 fee. They referenced a recorded call to justify that I had accepted the replacement time, then the office manager began listing times I had rescheduled over the past 15 years, none of which were last minute. Many of those changes were due to work travel, but that context was ignored entirely. I was then told I would have to prepay that fee to make any future appointments. The entire conversation felt like harassment, not customer service. This isn't new. I've experienced extended wait times during visits, and the front office staff have been rude before. I overlooked it because I believed in Dr. Shultz, but there is only so much disrespect you can tolerate. There are also concerns about quality of care. My mom had a crown replaced here that broke off within a week, leading to a tooth extraction, with no accountability from the office. I dismissed it for years because I personally had good experiences, but there is a noticeable difference between treating a younger patient and an older one. After today, I've already found a new practice and will not be returning. If you value your time, money, and being treated with respect, look elsewhere.
