Horrible establishment. They don't understand English which to be in a business in America how can you not know English. The girl on the phone kept telling me in English that she doesn't understand what I'm saying then proceeded to talk to me in English on why the order is taking long. I got the run arounds from this lady then to find out after the phone call she canceled my order. I will never order from this unprofessional unorganized company ever again. Located right under the J train line on crescent and Fulton street brooklyn. Even though there are tons of Hispanic food in the area this is also another great place to eat. So far, I haven't come across anything I didn't like and the price are reasonable, well reasonable to me. I usually get the family dinners, and they are usually under $30 which can feed a family of 4 easily. I haven't explored a lot on their menu but I'm sure everything taste great. read more

I'm really sorry for those of you who've had a bad experience with the service, but I must say that both the food and the service were exceptional. I ordered pernil mofongo which came with some gravy and a bistec empanizado with white rice and beans. Everything was very flavorful and quite tasty. Just like every other Spanish place, all you get is love and attention as if it was your family. The flan is very good! I think it's homemade, which if it is explains why it's sooo good. read more

You're not coming here to dine in with a restaurant experience. You come in here because you were lured in by the smell of bomb ass food on your way home from the train station... at least thats how it went for me. Two weeks after their opening I finally came in and ordered basically half the dishes they had on display at the front of the restaurant. Seafood Paella, Pernil, Chicharron, a chorizo stew, rice and beans, maduros - all for us 3 indecisive girls who wanted everything. The wait staff was amused but totally patient about us asking questions about all the dishes in front of us. While we and most of the other people took out order to go, there were a few people who also dined in. I've ordered a few times for delivery and have been pretty satisfied with almost everything I've received. I have noticed that when ordering off the regular menu, it's best to call ahead as the kitchen definitely takes a LONG time to prepare the dishes. Have waited 20 minutes sitting in the restaurant before for an order of mofongo. Overall, a recommended option for the area! read more

I was thrilled that the delivery arrived earlier than predicted. Unfortunately, the quality of the food was not there. The paper bags the food came in was soaking wet because the salad was full of Easter, at least a half cup. The roasted chicken was dry and the skin burnt. Completely gross. In the neighborhood for business, I decided to stop by Gustoso Restaurant for breakfast. Gustoso means tasty and this is so true. It's been a while since I had a big breakfast pancakes and all. The pancakes taste so good they needed little syrup. The coffee is strong and the service was excellent. I was very pleased. I love the Spanish slow jams with my breakfast. Honestly I don't even know where to begin, I ordered my food which it was a roasted chicken and a mofongo, the chicken was ready already because they always have ready (and they told me it was)so technically I only had to wait for the mofongo, the order took over an hour and a half, I sent someone to see if it was busy because my order was taking too long and the place was empty.... when I actually got my food hours later, the food was extremely cold, the chicken was flavorless (I'm a chef in the city so I'm not talking for gossip) and the mofongo was extremely salty; I thought the sauce that came with it was going to help but the sauce was basically salt. I ordered last week, it took Two hours. Two hours and still no food. You call them they say they are on the way, trust me they are not. Finally came the food was decent they said our next order would be free since being over two hours late. Call them today it's like they "forgot" they said it would be free. So I ordered by phone at 8:42pm yet it's 10:55pm and no food!!!!! I called again at 9:55pm lady said the delivery guy left 6 min prior nothing after 25 min. I called again at 10:20pm and the lady said she will give me a call right back to get in contact with the delivery guy and it's 10:57pm and nothing !!!!! Nada ! No call back! No food. I ordered from this restaurant for the first time ever on GrubHub! This place is amazing !!! First off, the display was great. Everything was done EXACTLY as I asked, if not better. The food taste OUT IF THIS WORLD. I had ordered steak and shrimp. The shrimp was well cleaned and prepared as well as the steak. It was served with diced or I guess shredded cabbage, carrots, and celery. Everything was well seasoned and fresh. I also ordered a side of yellow plantains. Just perfect. I eat at a lot of restaurants, this place was just more than what I expected. I actually want to go and sit down with my family next time. Just great! read more

I ordered from here last week for lunch. I ordered the chicharrones de pollo. Unfortunately, I won't be able to comment on the quality of the food. You see, I ordered it via Grubhub at 11:10 am. My lunch hour is at 1:00 and I figured that 1 hour and 50 minutes would be more than enough time since they said I would have my food in 40 minutes, but since I had read some reviews, I thought better safe than sorry. I finally called the restaurant at 1:00 pm to ask about my order. The lady said it had left over a half an hour ago. She said it as if that were a good thing. Last thing I want is cold, fried food, but I thanked her and kept waiting. At 1:35 pm, after 2 hours and 15 minutes of waiting, I called Grubhub to cancel the order since my lunch period was now over. Great lunch! read more

Worst!! Ordered on Grubhub waited 2 hours, called the restaurant and they said they cancelled my order because they were out of something. Never received a notification only that my food was on it's way! The lady I spoke to claimed she called me but I had my phone in my hand the entire time and if she supposedly couldn't reach me why didn't she leave a message? Lies!
