If I could leave a negative star review, I would. Long story short...had them come do work for me in September 2025. They were the cheapest, and you definitely get what you pay for. Work was done and the guys were great. However, they hit my gutters with a limb and since it was seamless, whole thing needed to be replaced. Owner, Ramiro Gutierrez, would not replace them with the exact same gutter. He wanted to use "his guy" and would not guarantee it would identical to mine. All he said was it is cheaper for him to do it this way and he wasn't paying for the exact replacement. Had to get lawyers involved to get situation resolved. I just had two trees removed and the price was good. The workers were very professional and did a great job. I would highly recommend using them again in the future, if needed. They got the job done in a very timely manner and cleaned up everything before they left. They even cut up and left a few pieces of wood to be used for our firepit. Highly recommend! read more

Just had them out to take one tree that was firing out. Will say they are better the good . They came with more equipment then you would think. Took tree out and stumped it . Amen they left only thing that would say they were here is tree gone an a small pile of chips in the stump hole. Cleaned everything else up better then it was before. Bought an older house in Itasca during the winter, so come summer realized two large tree have the ash disease. Called these guys and they came out the next morning for an estimate and the next week to pull down both trees. The estimate was a bit higher then others, but then he helped me out and brought the price down to a very reasonable amount. One was an 80 footer in the front, the second was a 50 footer next to power lines and a wooden fence. They came with a team of 4 people and pulled down both trees in about 4 hours. Guitierrez Yard Works removed a very large walnut tree that was over main power lines in our back yard. Not only were they the cheapest estimate that we received out of five, but they were able to schedule the work within two days. They removed the tree very professionally, with no damage to the power lines or property. They cleaned up everything after words, including removing the thousand walnuts that fell all over our lawn. My neighbor and I had sought out to find a vendor that could remove three trees and hired Gutierrez Yard Works Inc. I also received other quotes with companies that stated they needed to use a bucket rather than just a climber to remove the trees. Ramiro stated that this was unnecessary and he was insured, so I felt confident with him. It seemed like the removal went well, up until the first rainfall, when water started pouring into my neighbor's Kitchen. He located a puncture hole in the roof that went right through the plywood. We spoke about it and could not come up with a reasonable explanation as to what would cause it other than a tree limb being dropped on the roof during the service a few weeks prior. My neighbor contacted the owner and Ramiro IMMEDIATELY stated, that it wasn't his company that caused the damage. He then stated that there was a person standing on his roof to ensure no branches would hit the house. I can certify that this is just a flat out lie. First off, Ramiro wasn't at the job very long, since he needed to dump the truck very early in the day. I was there, however, for the entire event. At no time did I EVER see a person on the roof, which makes me wonder why he would blatantly lie, but I did see several branches swinging and hitting the house. In addition, he didn't even investigate my neighbor's claim (asking employees, visiting the site, etc.) but used a canned, automated response of saying it wasn't him. My suggestion to anyone in need of tree removal / trimming would be to evaluate the person you are hiring. If vendors say you NEED a bucket, than you may actually NEED a bucket. I believe that they are a little too careless and you must consider that they may cause damage to your home that costs A LOT more to repair than the difference in quotes between Ramiro and the next guy. I will not be referring Ramiro or his company to anyone I know and will be suggesting to find someone more responsive and responsible. read more

When my ash tree caught the disease, I asked Ramiro about cutting it down. He gave me a quote that was a little high in comparison to the other quotes I got. After talking to Ramiro he was able to bring his quote down to beat all the other prices. In a couple days, he was out with his crew and started the removal.
