Normally I love pickled jalapenos, or jalapenos of any kind but these clashed with the olives, or something. Even her daughter thought that the flavor wasn't quite up to par. No wonder, pickled peppers taste nothing like green (bell) peppers. I also had a slice of bacon pizza, which looked covered in minced bacon, but also didn't hit for me the way a salty bacon pizza should. Jeremy stuck to the pepperoni and seemed satisfied with that. Though when he was told that he could have more, he did not have more. Personally I wouldn't return, but my friend really likes the food. She said that she's only ever had one bad sub from this place (it took me forever to figure out what the name of the place was because Palmisano's doesn't really roll off the tongue). Am I the only one who feels like if a place can't consistently provide delicious food, why bother? I rarely give second chances. There are far too many other take-out places to keep going back to one where you could possibly get something unsatisfactory.

Plenty of parking. I walked in and had to wait since the person up front was handling phone orders. After maybe a few minutes a young lady appeared and asked if she could take my order. I ordered 2 breakfast platters, one with bacon and the other with sausage, but both with fried potatoes. Also it came with toast-butter and jelly. Once I got home, food was still hot and the portion size was to my liking. My husband and I enjoyed our platters. We might be back to try something different.

I then asked was the owner aware that she was closing 45 minutes early and she said it's just for today. Clearly didn't answer my question. I then asked her name and she sucked her teeth and walked away. Jo Joe's may have lost my business for good.

I arrived 11 minutes after the pickup time but could not find my order. I asked and found out the reason my order wasn't ready was because the cookie I ordered was not available. I had to settle for a cookie I didn't even want. The macaroni was completely overcooked and mushy. I threw most of this away. Oddly enough, Potbelly sent me a review request which I was happy to provide feedback with all of the above. That was 6 days ago. Part of the review process, they asked if they would be able to contact me to follow up regarding my feedback. I provided my contact info, but have never heard back. I guess they really don't care about customers either new or repeat. Their lack of feedback has solidified my view on my experience and I will not be back. This location on the exterior of Mondawmin Mall next to Burger King with plenty of parking available. I knew when I saw local construction and city workers going in and coming out with orders this might be an okay spot. Upon entering, there was an LED board menu and as the name implies, they had an extensive selection of various wing flavors, but I wanted to try the cheesesteak and fries. So we ordered the fish (swai) and shrimp platter with fries and the cheesesteak with fries platter. The staff were pleasant and we waited a short time for our order. They also have a kiosk at the counter to place orders as well. We got our food and the fish and shrimp were nicely coated and had a good seasoned taste. The fries were hot, fresh, and crisp. The cheesesteak was good: there could have been a little more steak on that fresh roll, but otherwise it was topped with melted provolone and grilled onions with lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, and light mayo, which were fresh. All in all, a good place for solid carryout food with a good taste.
