Guy is amazing. He returned my call for help within 10 minutes. He was willing to come to our house on a Sunday afternoon to fix a doorknob that had frozen with the latch in the closed position. He brought his own tools and new replacement parts. This house was built in 1955 and the doorknob was original to the house. The latch mechanism had just given up the ghost and broken. After replacing it, Guy checked out the nearby doorknobs and fixed one for free that wasn't clicking into place like it should. I asked if maybe all the doorknobs in the house needed replacing, and rather than jumping at the chance to make more money, he told me that just because one broke didn't mean the others were on the verge of breaking. I was al little wary of any strangers in the house bc it was evening and it was just me and my toddler at home but could tell right away there was no reason to feel concerned. After assessing the situation, he showed me the problem, explained my options, then went to Orchard (it's now 9pm) and picked up the hardware. Installed the main lock and doorknob but it was getting late and he was cognizant the drilling was loud for my kid / neighbors so he volunteered to return the following day and would waive the basic house call fee for day 2.
