A few days later, he called to let me know when it came in and we agreed on a morning for me to drop the phone off. Well, when that morning came- he wasn't there. He rolled in with his dog a good 25 minutes late and seemed irritated that I was waiting for him. He 100% forgot we agreed that I'd come by that morning. He said he needed to get settled and had me check in on a tablet. When the question regarding an agreed upon price popped up- I told him we never discussed pricing. After some math- he told me it would be some outrageous number- considerably more than the phone is worth. I told him I couldn't justify spending that much and handed him his tablet back. He was upset- remarking that he wished he'd have known this before buying the part and that I wasted his time. Brother- this is your job. Why wouldn't you give an estimate over the phone? Why weren't you at your office when you said you'd be there? Why is any of this my fault? I didn't initially want to leave a review- since he didn't actually repair anything, but I the attitude I received definitely isn't representative of all of the positive reviews I've seen on here. Maybe I just caught him on a bad day. In any case- I bought an aftermarket screen on Amazon (with the fingerprint sensor) for $60 and installed it myself in less than 30 minutes.

Of course, everyone cracks the outer casing on their phones on occasion, and that includes me. I've had mine fixed a couple times before, and have been satisfied. The difference with Ojen is that he comes to you. In this case, we met at Tech Conference. But, typically, he'll come to you - wherever you are. His prices are competitive, and he does good work. Unfortunately, my experience changed after having two screens and a battery replaced at this location. After taking my MacBook home, I noticed that the keyboard backlight no longer worked. I brought it back multiple times and was told over the phone that the keyboard backlight had been FIXED. When I came in to pick it up, I specifically asked if the keyboard backlight was working and was told that it DID. I took it home, only to find out that it was still NOT working. I came back again today, explained my frustration, and was ultimately told that I had wasted their time. After paying for multiple repairs and returning several times for an issue that occurred after their service, as well as being misinformed over the phone about the repairs of my laptop. I found this response extremely disappointing. I initially appreciated their service, but based on how this situation was handled, I cannot recommend this location.
