I called to ask if they repaired a iPhone 11 because it's an older model, but he never asked which model. They told me over the phone for a new screen it would be either 79 or 99.00 to repair it. When I arrived they looked at my phone and said it was going to be 150.00!! He said that's because they didn't know the model. Why didn't ask that information before giving me a quote. I finally Settled for a price of 130.00. I don't like to be misled to come in and quoted a different price. Not a great way to do business!! read more

The Owner Tom is very friendly and super patient for his service. The business is extremely well especially nowadays people work from home during the Pandemic! I spilled hot coffee to my MacBook Air and he turned it into alive again! Although the part he ordered took a while but eventually he was able to repaired, tested and put it all together. The Store is not too big so be prepared to leave your device there and come back to pick it up. The Owner is very friendly and reliable so I do see he has a lot of returning customers. Took longer than expected and was not informed when my special ordered parts arrived. One week after, I tried to apply a screen protector, and my replacement screen cracked from finger pressure while smoothing out the bubbles. My $4 screen protector did not crack, but my $180 screen did. Tom offered a full refund and to return my original screen. Thankful he stands behind his work, even though his supplier sold him fake Gorilla Glass. If you are looking for OEM LG replacement, make sure it is only sourced from an authorized distributor like Mobiledefender. Tom does good work so he is still recommended for the labor. read more

I brought in my iPhone XS Max with broken back glass. Apple charges $599 to repair this, Tom charges $100. Already a win. It was done in a little over an hour. When I picked it up and went back to work, the phone was restarting on its own every few minutes. Google says this is something that can happen when the back glass gets replaced. I took it back after work, and another hour later he had not only fixed the issue but replaced the entire housing of the phone (it needed it...it was fairly dinged up) AND added a screen protector, all at no charge! I won't be going to any of those squeaky clean chain places when my phones inevitably break in the future. Something about seeing piles of parts from phones and computers tells me this guy really knows what he is doing. Great place, highly recommend! read more

I got my screen replaced and a few weeks after, it began to malfunction and the colors would change. This place gives a "60 day warranty" and I took it back and the worker claimed that my screen was broken (even though I have not damaged or broken my phone and there is no physical damage or scratch on my screen) and he refused to honor the warranty. I explained that the screen was not working properly and he said that he would change it for another fee. It is disappointing that a business will not honor their warranty or care about their customer's satisfaction for the product. Very cheap quality. Save your money and go elsewhere! read more

SCAM ALERT, STAY AWAY FROM THIS SHOP. I brought in my Iphone X as it got pretty damaged not just a normal screen repair and was trying to bring it back to life and save my data. The owner said give him a few hours. Got a call later he was unable to repair it and to come pick it up. What do I get back, my phone but missing parts. My cameras that detect faces were stolen and replaced with some non apple no facial detection parts, screws missing, and butchered inside wires. Well, I went to LA iPhone Repair this afternoon with a shattered screen. The good news is that the screen on my iPhone 4s is now repaired, and I was in and out within 45 minutes. The guy who helped me was nice enough, although a little terse. The bad news? Well, first of all, the store was unmanned and locked when I arrived, an hour after they supposedly opened. This wasn't a HUGE deal, but I did have to wait about 15 minutes for the two employees to arrive, and might have been more annoying if I had somewhere to be. Secondly, the place felt a little... unprofessional. My phone wasn't labeled (or put in a bag, etc.) to identify it as mine when I dropped it off. He didn't even ask my name, actually; he just grabbed my phone, put it in a pile with a couple of other identical-looking phones, and said it would be ready in 45 minutes. Hmm. I also didn't receive a receipt of any kind when I paid my $100 cash. Finally, I was a little annoyed to find out that my phone was *damaged* in two ways after picking it up: Damage #1: A tiny screw at the base of the phone was gone, and he said he'd bent it during removal. He had a pile of iPhone parts on his desk so it seemed crazy that he couldn't offer me one tiny replacement screw. He assured me that my phone "wouldn't come apart" without the screw, but that's not the point -- if the screw is missing, that could be a red flag to Apple that my phone has been tampered with, and it might invalidate my warranty. Sigh.
