I booked a job in Mid-July for an end of August move through the UHaul site. All I needed were 2 people to load my truck with my larger furniture items. I had booked other movers in the afternoon to unload the truck as I was moving out of state and had explained this to them. I had to call multiple times to nail down a start time and was told they only schedule a start time a few days before the move. In the end, they called me 15 minutes before the start time to tell me there was a "mover emergency" and wouldn't be able to be there for another 2 hours. When I told them that I would start to load my truck and might only need them for the hour I got a rude response and was told I might as well just cancel it. I did. Maybe they double booked? Maybe there was an emergency? Maybe there was a better payout on another gig? We'll never know but I know that I would go anywhere else before I book with them again. Thanks guys! You saved me a couple hundred bucks!

I made it clear that I had a lot of large, heavy furniture and I also told them the sizes of the two storage units that I wanted emptied and brought to my new house. I specifically asked if it would all fit and if they would make multiple trips. I was quoted a price for six hours including tax. They did bring most of the large, heavy stuff but took NONE of the boxes. Now I am left to empty half of a 10x25 unit in MANY trips in my car. Not only that, but one of the movers spent a lot of time trying to get out a splinter (using tweezers that I offered) and using the bathroom and the other guy stood around waiting for him. This caused me to be charged for an extra hour. I'm grateful for what they did, but it wasn't as much as I was expecting. I'm older and on a limited budget so I went with the lower priced option because she said they would handle it, but they didn't and now my arthritic knees and back are paying for it.

They did not take any breaks or slow down and were extremely attentive to the items they were handling.
