Do yourself a favor and book Leslie now! For our wedding, I knew we had to pick a photographer that was organized, had an eye for what would look good, and one that could help direct us. After chatting with a few photographers, I hopped on the phone with Leslie and knew we had found our photographer! The pros: Organization: I'm a type A personality and I had every minute of the wedding planned out. Leslie and I were on the same page and had phone calls ahead of the wedding to go through the schedule and she helped identify potential timing considerations we needed to think about. She was honestly the only wedding vendor we worked with that I didn't need to worry about. :) After the wedding, she also kept us on schedule to promptly order our wedding photo book (and parents book). Friendly: Leslie is a people person! She made us completely at ease during our engagement session and wedding. It's always a little funny having to look longingly at your partner and Leslie made it fun! She also had us fill out a survey ahead of time so she knew about our personalities and got a sense of what we thought was "cheesy." Shot list: I've gone to many weddings where the photographer walks around aimlessly. Leslie had her list and got EVERY shot we wanted. On top of that, I had a few of my bridesmaids comment that they loved how she was organized and didn't intrude (especially during the ceremony where she blended in with the crowd, yet still got amazing pictures). I had the most incredible experience with Leslie at Green Vintage Photography. She is professional, creative, talented, thoughtful, and so easy to work with. As a photographer myself I was incredibly picky on finding my own wedding photographer. We booked with another photographer well over a year out from the wedding date and paid in full. 21 days before the wedding he bailed. I was devastated. Leslie just photographed my wedding over the weekend. This morning, she posted a sneak peak video of some of the shots and wow... I just can't stop watching because the shots are all just to die for. While looking around on facebook, I found Green Vintage Photography. Instantly I loved the colors that popped out from her photos. I emailed her right away and she responded back in a timely manner. Leslie was very patient with me and answered my million questions. We loved her package that she made for our wedding events and her products that she showed us, so we hired her. Where to begin? Leslie is, hands down, amazing. We researched and interviewed a ton of photographers before we found her - and she was everything we could have hoped for and more. Leslie is genuine, professional, warm, and patient, and she has an incredible artistic eye. We had our engagement photos 3 months before our wedding, and had a ton of fun with her exploring picturesque Sutter Creek (a small town that she suggested when I described my vision for a rustic, vintage background for our photos). She made us feel comfortable behind the camera, went great lengths to get the perfect shot, and accommodated our requests for three outfit changes! And the photos - wow! Our entire gallery blew us away! She was then with us for our 2 day wedding (Hindu/western), and I can't begin to express my gratitude and appreciation for her. Leslie took charge, in a friendly but firm way (which was necessary with our friends and family who were often way too excited to be corralled for photos!), she was somehow always in place to get an amazing shot (but almost always "invisible" to us during those moments), and she had the magic touch with my two flower girl nieces. Most of all, she captured the emotion in our wedding weekend so beautifully and perfectly - my husband and I both cried when we saw the first "sneak peek" photos (which she set to our wedding song). I can't begin to tell you how happy we are to have booked Leslie for our wedding. From the very first email, I knew Leslie was different. You could tell by her response that I wasn't just another customer, she wanted to know about me and my fiance. She asked about our likes, our style & how we met. When we left our first meeting with Leslie, we knew she was the "one." Even though, we were pretty sure we'd go with Leslie, we still looked around. We tried to see if we would feel that way with any other photographer. We didn't and we immediately booked Leslie. Our engagement shoot proved that our gut feelings were right. Leslie was WAY early to our shoot because she didn't want to be late. She wanted to make sure she was set up and ready to go on time. We knew then she was a keeper. Two hours flew by and and the end we she had gotten to know us and felt like family. Our photos from that day turned out amazing. Before our wedding, Leslie again was busy pre-planning with us, she helped work on our timeline and offered great advice. We had sent her a timeline and she returned it with us, full of notes and set up a meeting to go through the day with us. As someone going through the process only once, that information and guidance was invaluable. On the day of the wedding, she printed the timeline and made sure we stayed on track during our wedding. She became our wedding timekeeper and it was great. I am glad she kept track of the time because the photos that she reminded us to take turned out GORGEOUS and without Leslie we would have never gotten that moment captured. The photos taken by Leslie were crisp, romantic and captured the love that surrounded our wedding day. Her eye for photography is remarkable and her shots are unbelievably beautiful. I first met Leslie at a Bridal Fair. I was impressed by her display of photo canvases and albums. She was also very kind and personable. A year after I got married, my best friend hired Green Vintage Photography for her wedding. We had very different venues and Leslie was amazing at both. I didn't have a wedding coordinator and Leslie helped us keep on task and on time. My photos came out beautifully in the small restaurant. My friend had a coordinator in a huge Victorian with a nice outdoors setting. Leslie moved through her wedding and reception like a ninja. I just got our wedding photos back and am so happy with how they turned out. Leslie was great from start to finish. After seeing some of her work and having an initial conversation, I knew I wanted to have her as my photographer. I wanted photos that would capture the emotions of day and the nature-filled setting that we were in, and Leslie did that perfectly.
