In all of my previous moves, my brother rented a U-Haul with a couple of helpers, and somehow we always ended up with broken furniture or damaged belongings. I searched through about ten different moving companies, and Two Men and a Truck stood out to me. I'm actually the type of person who reads the negative reviews first, not the positive ones, and I noticed this company had almost no bad reviews. That's what convinced me to book them. On July 21, Ivan and Adrian arrived at my apartment at 9:00 AM. I had already packed most of the smaller items myself and taken them over in my car, and my dad had wrapped some of the larger furniture the night before. But the moment Ivan and Adrian walked through the door, it honestly felt like someone had poured cold water over all my stress. I instantly felt calm. They were incredibly professional. They carefully wrapped everything that still needed protection, moved everything efficiently, and handled every piece of furniture with so much care that I found myself just standing there watching them work. Before I knew it, my apartment was completely empty, and somehow they had fit everything perfectly into the truck. When we arrived at my new apartment, the closest elevator was unfortunately out of service, so they had to use a much farther elevator and walk a much longer distance with every load. Even with that unexpected challenge, they never complained. They kept smiling, stayed positive, and worked just as hard from beginning to end. My new apartment door was smaller than my old one, so they removed the legs from my sofa to get it inside and then reassembled it perfectly. They also disassembled and reassembled my bed, and honestly, they put it back together even better than it had been before. What I expected to be a nightmare turned into one of the smoothest and most enjoyable experiences I've ever had. Thanks to Ivan and Adrian, I'm no longer afraid of moving. The biggest surprise came afterward. My dad and I were adding up all of our moving expenses, and we realized the total ended up being even less than we had expected to pay. Not only were there no hidden charges, but the final cost was actually lower than we anticipated. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to Two Men and a Truck, and especially to Ivan and Adrian. You turned one of the most stressful days of my life into a wonderful memory. The initial estimate of "$1800 for the initial pick-up, 4x movers, premium services to help…read morebox/pack items, 1-month of storage, plus final delivery" was clearly enticing and convinced me to book instantly. Reviews warned that issues with final billing and disputing the amounts were very common, but I accepted the risk. I will say that all of my items were picked-up and returned with no major damages to report. What is clear is that Clutter is able to advertise these cheap prices because they hit their margins in excessive billing. They will often under-estimate the size of the storage unit you will need so they can upcharge you for the upgrade later. They will always find away to take longer than 6 hours in order to require a 2nd pick-up (either not enough movers, or sending a truck too small for your estimates). My move required 3x total scheduled pick-ups totaling over $3750 in final costs. These do not include the costs of me having to extend the lease of my apt because I scheduled my move-out for the day before my lease ended and Clutter needed an additional 7-days to get all of my stuff out of the unit. I will not use this company again in the future because they have no problem doubling the costs of my initial budget and with them there is always some additional cost or fee that I did not consider that resulted in the excessive billing. My card was automatically charged over 8 separate times during this experience. If you do use this company, be sure to have a credit card with a large credit limit. Also customer service after the initial pick-up is handled by a foreign company that is difficult to understand. They're doing their best, but there were multiple issues in scheduling + billing due to simple miscommunication.

I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. The items I needed to move was a dining table and 4 chairs and bench, 2 queen bed frames and mattresses, 2 dressers a tv, a tv stand, center table, and a reclining L-shape couch. Like I said they didn't even get to the last room which had a king bed (mattress only) and dresser. We finally get to the storage I had prepared and they tell me they are taking my stuff and will come back tomorrow to finish! THEY TOOK MY THINGS!!!! Never had such an unprofessional company like this. Everyone stay away from them. The next day, the worker tells me that it should be free. Took them over 4 hours to finish the move and then they want to charge me which I disagreed with. Said their manager should be calling me. I had to call them cause they never called. They wanted to charge over $2000 for taking their sweet time and charging some blankets which was never disclosed or on the contract. Spoke to Brett (operations manager) and he removed the blankets but requested for me to go and remove them all!!!! After it wasn't disclosed or on the contract! My lawyer told me that they did so many illegal things during my move! My lawyer told me to report them which I will be doing. Please don't use them. They are awful and run the timer to charge more. I was quoted $700 and at the end they wanted over $2000. Also Brett told me they charge all breaks they take. I took pictures of some workers not doing anything and according to Brett "he was tired and can take a break". That's fine. I'm okay with a break but why are you charging me for that.
