Like everyone else here, my experience with this company has been horrible. Ordered one item, got a different (much cheaper) one instead. No big deal. Mistakes happen. Just pick up the first unit and send me the correct one, right? Wrong!!! I've been emailing and calling for 2 months, and they keep telling me they are waiting for the manufacturer to issue a return authorization - except the manufacturer seem to have no record of such a request. If you are still not convinced that this is a shady outfit, check out their website, where they claim an A+ rating from the BBB, even though they are not. I would give negative stars if I could. Paid $3,690 for a HCI Phisiostep physical therapy machine - delivered in an undamaged box. This machine can withstand a 500 pound person using it but my machine was damaged clearly before boxing. I contacted GymPros and they refused to help me AND they refused to accept a return even though it was not usable. Filed with FTC, States Attorney and now my only option is filing a case in small claims court. HCI Fitness has been jerking me around since it was delivered. Purchase: Nov 15, 2022. Arrived in about 3 weeks. Have really bad low back pain on the right since the seat and rail were replaced. It is so bad that I have to take muscle relaxers for days after using it. Sent pictures and video. I have used the same machine in physical therapy and it was not clunking and banging and sounding like something cracking when I used it. Mine does all of that. In PT, the seat was not rocking like mine does. I have been asking for my money back since December. As a consumer, we are supposed to be protected from this negligent behavior. I find it unethical to package up a machine like this with OBVIOUS serious damage and ship it to someone. Even more so when they refuse to replace it or refund the customer/victim. I paid extra from a refurbished machine. When it finally arrived, months after it was ordered and promised, it was broken, and had a bad battery (a part they state is replaced on all refurb machines). When the installer opened it up, there was a solid 1/4" of dust on every internal surface. Clearly never refurbed. They have never repaired the broken part, and will never return a call after the sale is complete. RUN! read more

THE WORST COMPANY EVER. The elliptical trainer I bought from them did not work correctly from day one. I have tried to work with Gym Pros for over a year now to get the unit fixed, but they have been passive and unhelpful, and at this point they have completely stopped responding to my emails and calls. These are the most UNETHICAL people that you will ever deal with. That includes Brie (makes promises but never follows through), Jesse (full of excuses), and worst of all the owner, Roy, who acts like he cares and then you'll never hear from him again. If I could give a negative numbered review I would. Here is quick timeline of the last 8 mons, if I do not do it this way, the review would probably be ten pages long. 1. I was an idiot and did not look at all the reviews before I purchased the elliptical from GymPros. 2. Purchased the Elliptical around July 4th. Great deal, we thought and great customer service. 3. We tried for weeks to get them to call us back about a delivery date and after 43 days, we finally got a call from the DELIVERY company. 4. Elliptical was delivered on day 44, but only one delivery person and it took over an hour to very carefully get off his truck. 5. The delivery of my elliptical was completed and so we started to unwrap it, when we noticed the cracks on the bottom, cosmetic damage? Ok, no problem with us, as it is a refurbished machine. We'll, we have it unwrapped and attempted to plug it in, except the plug in ports on the machine are completely loose and at the same time noticed missing parts. Now the fun begins 6. We called Gympros, who asked us to send pictures of the issues to them and they call us back later to let us know when someone will be out to fix it. 7. No one called us that day or the next day or the next day or the next day. NOTHING! 8. So over the next few months, we would send emails, chat messages on the chat tab on their page (which I saved) and phone calls. I even offered to send messages by carrier pigeon, smoke signals, airline ground crew and morse code. We would get a small response from a person, but maybe once or twice a month. We heard from Doug, who said that he will personally get this done, NOTHING! I heard from Roy who decided to respond who would tell us that they call us right back with a date and time to come and repair it and yes even Brie. 8. My husband called his credit card company and found out he could file a complaint with them and they would investigate. So, on the very last day, before the window to file complaint was closed, we filed one. The credit card company said to us it would take 45 days to investigate, because they needed to give Gympros time to respond. 9. We are day 45 and the credit card company refunded our money and took it back from them. Yay!!!!! One would think it was done, but no! 10. We wanted them to come and pick up the damaged machine now that we had our money back.. We have called, emailed, chatted and all we would get is a random message saying "we will call you right back". One day about a month ago, we received a phone call and they left a message on our cell phone, asking us to call them back, we did about five minutes later and NOTHING! 11. I sent emails and messages to them at least once a week and I did get a response from Doug when I called one day and he told me to call customer support. I called customer support, but mailbox was full. A few days after this, I called and spoke to someone who was absolutely rude and kept cutting me off. She told me that they would be out Tuesday or Wednesday to pick it up, but NOTHING. 12. This adventure brings me to last Thursday, when my call was answered by someone who did not understand me, but stated he would put a ticket in for me to have them call me. Nope, heard crickets!!! My son called, spoke someone other than Brie, Roy and Doug, who told him that she will call us back in the morning to give us a pick up time. Nope, nothing!!! All I want to do is give them their machine back. I have read all the reviews about how people were not getting their equipment that they paid for, horrible customer service and so on. All I want them to do, is to just take it back and they won't. Last night around 1130pm, I received an email stating my ticket is closed, but the machine is still in my garage on the pallet it was delivered on. Ordered equipment 5 months ago (April 4th) After I paid in full for the equipment ($16,000 plus) all communication stopped. I am still waiting on equipment or a refund, but I get no response. Brie and Roy will tell you what you want to hear until you realize it is all lies. Dig into the positive comments and I guarantee most are fake. Do yourself a favor and go ANYWHERE else. I was told over a month ago they couldn't get olympic plates that I paid for so I ordered from TAG and recived in under 7 days. Gympros.com still won't refund money. Very poor customer service. RUN as fast as you can from this place. Where do I even start. A year ago I ordered a free motion cable machine. It NEVER came. 9 months after the order was placed I was fed up. I demanded a refund. The money was refunded to me in July. Cue "Brie" the crack head book keeper. Immediately after refunding me, Brie convinced me to just order a different brand of cable machine, one that could be delivered the next day according to her. I placed the order put down my deposit, and was given a receipt. The receipt stated that I placed $2626 as a down payment. Fast forward from July to now October, no machine. So after doing some investigating, come to find out "Brie" took my deposit and gave me a fake receipt. Fast forward to today, the owner is calling me letting me know that this is not his problem anymore. So this company beat me out of a year and a half and $2700 the British guy. These guys are downright immoral and dishonest sales guys -- when I bought the elliptical machine in March 2020 right before we went into quarantine, Roy promised me the world -- said he would move the elliptical into my new house for me at no charge (we were going to move in 2 months) and also send someone over to fix my elliptical as soon as they reopened (even thought I bought a refurb that was supposedly "good as new," it was broken and a part kept falling off). When quarantine ended and I called them in June, the service couldn't have been worse. Brie was entirely rude and kept providing circular responses. She took no accountability. Roy didn't even call me back despite multiple calls and messages. I ended up paying a guy $380 to fix the machine and move it into my new home. These guys DO NOT follow through on their commitment - let alone even give you a call back. People like this shouldn't be in business. I will never buy or recommend anyone to this shop ever again. Gym Pros delivered my treadmill and strengthening equipment within a reasonable time period. On their site it says 45 days maximum, but my stuff arrived in only 22 days. Overall, their customer service is transparent, the order is easy to track, and the representatives over the phone are friendly. I order a commercial Elliptical 4 weeks ago. I could never get a delivery date. emails and texts were rarely responded to. Their salesperson Doug is incompetent. They charges me $395 for delivery. They never disclosed that the freight company would only deliver to the curb The equipment weighs 300lbs. I can't move it myself. The freight company told me i would have to hire another company for $350.00 to bring it up to my apartment. None of this was disclosed and now its going to cost me $650.00 to get the equipment in my apartment. If I order a refrig, its delivered for free into my kitchen. The salesperson should get fired. I would recommend anyone buy a product from this company. Support is virtual nonexisting, customer service sucks and is unresponsive I have never heard of buying a product that costs $2600.00 and receive this unacceptable level of service. 14 weeks ago I received a damaged machine from gympros for which I paid almost $3000. I emailed several times and they were unresponsive. I finally called and got a reply. They did send a repair person to fix the machine but the parts have to be ordered by gympros. After weeks of trying to find out the status of the repair Gympros would not reply to me OR the repair company. They finally ordered SOME of the parts for the machine, BUT NOT THE MOST IMPORTANT PARTS. Today (about 10 weeks after my purchase of this broken machine) they sent an email asking if I was satisfied. They are truly UNBELIEVEABLE and uncaring towards their customers. I still have a broken machine 10 weeks after my purchase. This is DEFINITELY the WORST buying experience I've had in my 40+ years of purchasing items. UPDATE (April 10, 2021) I received another part in the mail last week. It was 1 of FIVE parts that are required to repair the broken machine they sent me. I've emailed several times about the other parts and they are completely UNRESPONSIVE. I now have to contact the authorities in Huntington Beach. I dread having to get attorneys involved, but for some reason this "company" does not want to fix the broken machine they sent me which was supposed to be LIKE NEW. read more

BEWARE. This company has the worst customer service (once they have your money) you will ever experience. I purchased an expensive cardio machine to replace one that burned with my home in the Northern California fires. It took twice as long to receive as they said it would. After 2 months it began malfunctioning. I called and spoke with "Brie" who said if I waited a week they could send me a replacement part. After not hearing from "Brie" or anyone at gym pros I sent an e-Mail to see if the replacement parts had arrived. I received no response. I sent 2 more emails and left a voicemail with no response. Finally after talking to someone from sales, and leaving another message, I got an email stating that they didn't have any replacement parts and would have the send mine off for repair. They could not tell me how long it would take and when I explained that I use the machine everyday and didn't feel, as a customer who paid thousands of dollars for a machine, I should be deprived of my machine for an indeterminate amount of time, they curtly stated "that's none of our concern"... I left two messages for the owner "Roy" but I guess the terrible customer service is a "top down" thing because I have yet to hear from him... After the incredibly horrible sercive I received, I decided I didn't even trust them to get my machine "repaired" and ended up just paying to fix it myself... Bottom line. If you buy something from gym pros and expect to be treated with any respect as a customer after the sale.. or god forbid expect them to honor their warranties without a major headache, you may be in for a shock. This is the worst company I've dealt with in my 8 years in the fitness industry. Be wary of company employees giving positive reviews on their websites. I purchased $5000 worth of equipment from this company and the owner contacted me without my requesting him to - to try to sell me more equipment. Boy am I glad I did not. Once the purchase was made not only was the my equipment delivery delayed but just getting someone on the line to address my inquiries about said delays was extremely difficult. When the equipment arrived one machine did not work at all and had exposed joints and other issues. This was written off as "shipping damages" and I was told it would be fixed immediately. That "immediately" turned into another month. During the 60 days after my order I repeatedly asked to speak to the owner when I was treated unprofessionally by the original salesman I spoke with (Doug) and after I could not reach a solution with their customer support staff (which seems to be made up of one person: Brie). All of the sudden the owner literally went on a 60 day hiatus from his company according to his staff. He was just not available to me at all. I remind you; at the point of sale I got a direct call from the owner without me requesting it to try to SELL ME MORE EQUIPMENT. The company's strategy seems to be to offer a price on the site and says "call for lowest price guaranteed" only to have you pay a higher price then what is on the website. They will market refurbished equipment and an extended warranty for service and parts only to ship the item in unacceptable condition and you have to bite the bullet with your time and money being wasted waiting on their local contractors to come out and fix the equipment; of course, eating into that awesome sounding extended warrantee the hyped you up about at the time of purchase. But what do you know! When you call repeatedly for 6 hours straight requesting one thing - the owner - and successfully tie up their business line the owner is magically available again! But unfortunately Roy's company is a true reflection of himself. Not only did he use profanity with me on the phone when I would not allow him to weasel his way out of the fact that his company has treated me poorly but he really tried ton convince me that I should be okay with how I received my equipment. He literally implied that I should have expected this to happen. Now it makes sense that there is always a blowout sale happening! Lol. There's been a blow out sale for the whole first quarter of the year so far! This is SALES FIRST company that offers a product and service.
