There was a minor complication because they shipped my shoes without a receipt, but thankfully the young lady, Susie, was super helpful. Another gentleman stepped in too, and together they made the return process super easy. I ended up getting a completely different pair of shoes, these two pink/fuchsia sneakers that were absolutely adorable. Something about the two toe, sneaker was just super cool to me, and they were extremely comfortable. Definitely the better buy, to me. The store was really clean, really organized, and the customer service was a 10 out of 10. Definitely recommend.

This is a beautifully designed store with a good selection of products but the staff doesn't seem all that interested in providing customers with a good experience. The first time we came in to buy shoes we had to actively search for someone to help us. While they were friendly and responsive to our requests to try on shoes the person seemed a bit distracted and not that knowledgeable about the products. The second time we were there, we had a problem with the shoes we bought on our first visit and were looking for a solution. The shoes were about four months old and the inside of the heel had collapsed. We wanted to just exchange them for a new pair since it had been such a short time since the original purchase. The person at the counter was dismissive. When I explained the problem with the product she did not acknowledge the defect even though it was quite easy to see. She explained that the in-store exchange/return policy was 60 days I asked if they might be able to help me online or at their customer service phone number and she said she didn't know but that I should leave and Google it. Not a great experience. I sat down inside the store and called customer service and connected with the nicest, most helpful customer service person ever who immediately did her best to understand the issue with the shoes and let me know she would do everything she could to help me. Since the product failed, we were well within the time limit to return the shoes for a full refund. The return window is much longer online or on the phone. She also made me aware that the original product we purchased was now on sale so she helped me return the defective product and then helped me purchase a replacement at the new sale price. It could not have been a more perfect experience. I would recommend trying products on in the store and then buying online or over the phone. The customer service in the store doesn't make shopping there worthwhile unless you don't want to wait for the shoes to be shipped to you. Love all the Nike styles just would like a better in-store experience.

Both behind the register and on the sales floor. With my most recent visit leaving me with the thought of "How can I show my appreciation besides just saying thank you? Finally write that 5 star Yelp review." I admit, the price of textbooks here is probably going to cost you more then if you we're to order it used at Amazon or EBay but I find that being able to flip through the pages really help's me better understand what we'll covering before I decide to register for the class. They also sell Used copies for less which are most of the time in excellent condition. Scantrons, supplies, clothing, accessories. Not just a bookstore but a great place on campus to get what you need to help you pass that class.

Makes it easy, especially if you procrastinate and it's that first week of class. The first week of class, the bookstore transforms into a circus with long, long lines. To be avoided. The bookstore has all the notebooks, paper, 3 by 5 card, card rings, jump drives, pencils, erasers, pens, highlighters, test forms, and such. They carry those plastic review folders that sum up subjects. They have books that relate to your area of study. Great art supplies, portfolios, clay and tools. Nice selection of colored pencils. They carry the Pigma pens, my favorites. At the front of the store is a collection of snack foods and study foods and beverages. Even healthy options: popcorn, protein bars, dried fruits and nuts, even little cans of tuna with crackers and granola bars. I like to wander about and look at the textbooks for classes I will have in the future. They carry the college catalogue as well as the booklet that lists upcoming classes. If you need a calculator for your math class, or batteries, you will find it here. Lots of great resources and helpful people. Just wish the prices were more reasonable. They are now offering rentals, and that takes the sting out of prices just a little. Worth visiting, and they will buy back your books, sometimes. Great selection of books, great workers, and great supporting material.

Unfortunately, from the moment we walked in, we felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. The employees closely followed us throughout the store and made us feel as though we were being watched because they assumed we might steal something. The treatment we received felt like racial profiling, and it was both embarrassing and hurtful. Rather than feeling like valued customers, we felt judged and singled out. Despite the uncomfortable atmosphere, I still made a purchase and bought a pair of earrings. However, that purchase was only a fraction of what I intended to spend. I came into the store fully prepared to buy multiple items and would have gladly spent considerably more. Instead, the employees' behavior completely discouraged me from continuing to shop. What makes this experience even more disappointing is that the store lost out on a much larger sale because of the way my daughters and I were treated. Customers should feel welcomed, appreciated, and respected--not scrutinized and judged. Had we been treated with kindness and professionalism, I likely would have purchased several additional items and returned in the future. I also noticed several other potential customers walk into the store and quickly leave without making a purchase. Customer service plays a huge role in whether people choose to shop and spend money, and unfortunately, that was severely lacking during my visit. I have never felt so profiled while shopping before, and it was a deeply upsetting experience. No customer should be made to feel uncomfortable because of their appearance, race, or background. When it happened the second time I decided to make this review. The employee looked at me and then returned to what they were doing and a second later asked another customer if she needed anything. I believe I was being profiled that I would not spend like that customer. It is extremely upsetting to be profiled when I am happy to spend money on quality goods with great customer service.

I placed a large uniform order back in May to ensure my boys had everything they needed for the start of the school year in August (I like to plan ahead). Apparently, the manufacturer of the Quicksilver shorts had changed this year, and the size needed by one of my sons was unavailable anywhere. My order was shipped promptly and I was informed 6 pairs of shorts were on back order. I was also informed that I would not have to do anything further, when they were available they would be shipped to me. Weeks went by and I never heard anything more about the shorts. Finally, I decided to give them a call last week (mid-July) to inquire about the shorts. At first, this was frustrating since nobody answered the phone and the voicemail indicated it was full and I was unable to leave a message. I did send an email with the order number (be sure to save the order number for easy reference!), but I continued to call throughout the day as well. In the early afternoon, I finally was able to get a hold of someone and they promised to look into the situation and call me back. Within two hours, I had received three calls to explain what happened. In addition, there was a plan of action for how they were going to make the situation right. Nick (owner) contacted me himself to let me know the items were going to be shipped that afternoon and to thank me for my patience. By the following afternoon, the remaining items in my order were on my front porch! Sometimes, for whatever reason, things get lopsided and we have to do a little extra leg work to ensure problems are corrected. Norman's Uniforms absolutely did that, making the situation right without defense, casting blame or having an attitude. I have always been happy with their customer service (especially with ease of returns/exchanges) and this time was no exception.

They are the only undies I can wear comfortably and they are the only ones I wear. Since I live on Maui I usually order online but I do love visiting this store when Im in CA so I choose in person.

One item I called in to buy and after taking it home, the quality was not that great for the price tag. The return policy here is within 3 days of purchase for store credit only. I quickly returned it and since there were no other options available, I took the store credit which was a signed receipt from the owner. Unfortunately, the receipt is now 6+ months old and the writing has faded inside my wallet like a lot of receipts do. I left a note for the owner and despite calling the store, I never received a call back. Finally, I called the store and spoke with the owner who really did nothing for me in terms of trying to help out an honest customer. I really hate to lose out on $90 from one outfit. I would have been a returning customer, but after my experience here, I definitely will not support this business in the future. I would really suggest a better system in this age of technology such as crediting through an online system or even simply e-mailing a receipt to customers. It would just make things 10x easier for both parties and you wouldn't lose out on great customers!
