I have been shopping at Uniqlo for a long time and most of the clothing I have purchased there maintains strength and durability no matter how many times you wash or dry clean them. I do wish there were more locations, but then again not so much bc I'll be broke. I do like their heattech collection, it does keep me warm during colder months. They also offer free alterations depending on what you need done and if it meets the price threshold. I forgot the minimum, but I don't think it was much. If not they charge around $5 or so. This is the closest location in the Pasadena/Annapolis area. They also have a few other locations in Bethesda, Montgomery Mall, and D.C. I'm sure there are more and I've heard there will be a new location in Annapolis Mall. Their clothing can be pricey, depending what you buy. However they do have sales throughout the year and you can get many pieces at a low price. Overall, the Columbia location has a wide variety, but one of their small stores. The location on 5th Ave, NY is by far their largest store.

It does not smell like a thrift store would. It is mostly clothes but they also have other items such as books, toys, strollers, carriers, and bassinets. I found some great items such as shoes for my toddler and some items for my child on the way such as a love to dream swaddle and some zip up pajamas. The same shopping center as Nordstrom Rack, Bob's Furniture, and the newest Ross for Less store (second in Columbia). This is likely my second or third time ever shopping at J. Crew. They sell clothing for women, men, and children. They also sell women's shoes, jewelry, sunglasses, and hair accessories. I didn't peruse the children and men's section so not sure what accessories they offer. IMO, a bit on the pricier side if items are not on clearance. There is a small selection of clearance item in the back of the store. Normally I only shop in petites given that I am only 5' tall so was pleasantly surprised that I found a sweater where the sleeves were the perfect length for me. The sweater is so cute with a big red heart and horizontal stripes. It was originally $89.50, but I purchased it for only $3.49 after 70% clearance was applied to the sale price with an additional $10 off after signing up for their rewards program called JC Passport. What a great way to start the weekend. I LOVE a good deal! The store was clean and organized and the associate who checked me out was super friendly. They have cute and wonderful creations of at least 35 local artisans, and they host many many artistic workshops. We stopped by in mid-September 2025 and found locally-designed ceramics among a wide variety of other items. We got a pretty chip-and-dip dish with colorful flowers all around the edges. Our visiting 1.5-year-old niece loved discovering a pair of cute fuzzy bees! We saw some workshops were coming up where we could make things with the artists, so we looked for more and they've had wood flower-book making and wood-art painting and other woodshop, clay pet sculpting and clay earring making, stained-glass art making, leather crafting, journaling, crochet, coir matt making, ... and occasional multi-artisan events with kids' activities and food trucks! How have we been missing this??? They are open Wed-Sun, weekends mid-day to early evening, and Wed-Thu 3-7pm. (as of Sep 2025). Plenty of on-site parking. Got to find their upcoming events schedule!
