Cassian, the owner, is an excellent personal trainer with crazy good rates for Los Angeles, much less Beverly Hills adjacent. Also to mention is the membership fee being much cheaper than most big name gyms on the west side. Anyone leaving a bad review either had a huge ego, or didn't speak with Cassian to try and work out their issues. A+ gym.

I understand that this is a busy location with a pool, sauna, and a lot of foot traffic, so it may be difficult to keep everything spotless throughout the day. Still, I have noticed the same buildup, stains, odors, and unclean sinks across multiple visits, and I rarely see the shower area being mopped or thoroughly cleaned. I've visited other LA Fitness locations where employees regularly walk through the facility, reset equipment, wipe down areas, and inspect the locker rooms. I believe implementing more frequent locker-room inspections, scheduled shower cleanings, or even a weekly deep-cleaning routine would greatly improve this location. This could be a great gym because the space and equipment are already there. A more consistent cleaning and maintenance plan would really elevate the experience and make members feel more comfortable using the showers, sauna, and locker room.

One of the biggest standouts is their incredible nutritionist, Celia. She's knowledgeable, encouraging, and keeps things flexible and realistic, no rigid plans or extreme restrictions. Plus, because she's also a trainer at the gym, she understands the full picture of your training and can tailor her guidance accordingly. I've worked with several nutritionists in the past and Celia is by far the best. Lift Society even throws in the occasional social outing, which makes it feel more like a community than just a gym. It's honestly one of the hardest things to leave behind as I move from LA to Brooklyn.

Would like certain machines to get fixed at faster rates (e.g. the seated ab bench has been broken for months) It would be great to have more dumbbell increments too (especially 27.5 lbs) I've noticed that some of the benches' screws aren't tight enough, and the bench will wiggle when I'm trying to support my back. In addition, the air conditioning is inconsistent, and it sometimes will be really hot when it's non-peak hours. There are enough cable machines, but some are stretched out which makes it hard to track progress.

The only minor downside is that some overly chatty members tend to camp on machines, so you have to be a bit patient at times.
