A-1 Burger
Derrinca A.

I am super glad to stumble upon Gypsy Foods Cafe. We had the pleasure and privilege to meet the owner of the establishment who explained how everything was made from scratch. I had the A1 burger with mushrooms and onions and of course A1 sauce and fries on the side. The burgers are seriously amazing. I highly recommend this establishment for a delicious bite. Anything you order on the menu will be exquisite. And one more thing, the location is inside the swap meet. Make sure you go with a lot of time or a lot of self control to not stop and look at the stands! The location of Gypsy Food cafe is to the far right corner as soon as you walk in. Thank you. Namaste

Amazing food! The chef cooks everything fresh and from scratch! The hostess was very sweet and nice. Very clean and hip place. Love the authentic designs, definitely a gem inside the indoor swap meet! Will come here again and also bring my friends!

Restrooms were really clean and had the same style decor too, so I appreciated that attention to detail. However, I docked 2 stars since I couldn't order anything. I arrived at 939pm, looked at the menu and decided on a slice of the Ube Crepe cake and one of the Apple Cinnamon macarons. They don't close until 10pm and people were still coming in, and there were still plenty of people sitting in the restaurant, but the staff didn't let me order anything at 945pm saying that she doesn't take any more orders after 930pm. What?!?! What the hell? You're open for a whole 30 more minutes and don't want to take my money - am I hearing that right? My friend had cash on him, and he was willing to pay cash if that's less of a hassle, and still no. It's not even to-go only, it was a flat-out no, before their 10pm closing time. THAT IS CALLED CRAP SERVICE. However, the 3 stars instead of 1 or 2 stars is because one anonymous employee who witnessed that go down changed my perspective of this spot. This person asked me not to reveal their identity on my Yelp review out of fear of getting in trouble. They overheard me trying to order but got turned away, then pointed to the macaron in a box in the fridge on display right there to my friend. So as I was walking towards the bathroom, this person (different than the girl who rudely turned me away) apologized for what happened and gave me the apple cinnamon macaron as a gift. That was so sweet of them. The macaron was absolutely perfect too, it was delicious - the perfect texture of the macarons, apple filling, in the center between the cream, with the crunch from I think they were dried apple bits on the side of the cream - amazing!!! But still insanely Vegas tourist trap rip off overpriced with the macaron that person gave me worth $8.35/piece. Honey & Butter Macarons in Irvine, CA or Durian Macarons at Sweet Mood in Westminster, CA, still keep their also delicious macarons under $5 each while having cute decor/ambiance (I'll admit they're not as impressive and unique as this spot though). But they're essentially banking on tourists not knowing any better and what things should actually be worth/gouging tourists as much as they can. Essentially, you're paying for the ambiance. Definitely not paying for the crap service. Food is good, but not astronomically priced good - you're kidding yourselves. You may be able to get away with stuff like that if you're inside one of the luxurious casinos on the Strip, like Venetian, Caesars, Bellagio, etc. But especially being off-strip, get a reality check. I may come back (thanks to your anonymous employee's kind gesture giving me that macaron), but it's more just to show my parents the cool ambiance.

Balsamic vinegrette with jalapenos and bacon and corn with battered fries...dude I'm steal this...I had the steak bulgogi sandwich, not my thing because I personally don't like my bulgogi that sweet or having the sauce that sweet like teriyaki but I get it. Execution though awesome, perfect toast for my sandwich and cook on the meat. My son had the salmon bowl very good, I was expecting overcooked or undercooked salmon. One of the best breakfast places Ive dined at from pure execution of the food to table. Thanks for the quality. We love your pancake batter recipe btw, moist bouncy and the pairing with mascopone cheese was genius with the light chocolate sauce Best compliment I can give is that Even though I didn't like your bulgogi marinade I wanted to try everything else and order one of your non Asian breakfasts items because I was excited by the way things were executed on the cook and flavor profiles of the other dishes my family ordered. Highly recommend all egg items for sure especially ones that require skill to avoid over cooking. Pancakes for sure!

The space is absolutely massive, so unlike other coffee shops where you're fighting for a seat, here you'll never have to worry about it. On a day when I was forced to café-hop because the first two spots I tried were completely full, I ended up here and it was such a relief to walk in and know I could sit anywhere without stress. I ordered a matcha latte, which I really enjoyed. Nothing over-the-top extraordinary, but solid and satisfying. Beyond drinks, the café also sells some quirky merchandise--things like notebooks, school supplies, ramen packs, and sodas--which adds a fun little twist to the usual coffee shop vibe. Overall, 1004 Café is more about being a dependable, spacious, and comfortable place to camp out with your laptop or meet up with friends. If seating and space are high on your list of priorities, this is a spot worth checking out.

I just realized I've been gatekeeping this place…read more This place out of the 100's of coffee shops in town, is the best coffee no one is coming close. My greedy self thought people are finding out, and parking sucks already there - therefore shut up and don't spread if. Well now thinking about it, I can't do it anymore I got too much love for this place. We come at least once a week, parking can still suck but just be patient (don't even think about parking at AMPM), lines inside can be intimidating but they do a good job pushing through while delivering the nicest possible service..like who ask each customer "have you tried this before? If you haven't they let you try it and remake it if you don't like it" like whaaaat?! And the drinks every single one a knock out. My ranking from favoritest: Coconut Coffee - blended, creamy strong coffee and the perfect about of sweetness. Javacado - very creamy avocado mixing it with Phin coffee is insanely addicting. Cafe Brûlée- Phin coffee with egg, ridiculously good also ridiculously strong. Vanilla Cold Brew - Simple but not plan, when you want no frills but still want the finest. Banana coffee - this is the OG drink that brought me to Phin and made me a monster. The balance of coffee and banana is beautifully done (I'd suggest adding shot). Just go..they deserve all the hype and love.

Okay, they redeemed themselves!…read more The Coconut Coffee is an incredible afternoon pick-me-up--creamy, delicious, and exactly what you want on a hot day. As-is it's a little too sweet for me, so I have them add an extra shot of coffee (no extra charge) and it's perfect. Especially with the heat wave we've been dealing with the last few weeks. Service is fantastic, as expected. They always make your drink, have you try it, and then walk you over to the register to pay. Inside it's a dark, cool coffee café--the perfect escape from the heat. There's usually a line, so if you show up at peak hours, be prepared to wait. Parking is limited and kind of sucks, so bring patience--it goes a long way.

I got the hojicha or the Broken cream roasted matcha latte. That was soooo good!! One of the best Hojicha lattes I've had so far!! I love the roasted taste and it wasn't so sweet. I've gotten their matcha before and that is also very tasty. I love how they have the option for ceremonial grade. Not all places have ceremonial grade! I also got the biscoff cookie! One of my favorite cookies in Vegas!!! So I was craving this last Saturday that I went to Cheongdam hall to get it but they sold out. I drove next day to this location just to get it. The cookie is sooo good. Not overly sweet and soft. I like the chocolate filling as well. The server also recommended the salt bread. I was not going to get this but he said it's really good. I'm like ya okay! OMGOODNESS. Holy moly! What did you guys put in that!! It's like crack! It is like if Auntie Ann's pretzel bread and Croissant had a baby. This is it. I like devoured that. I could have had more. This would have been so good with like a caramel dip. This is on my list to get next time! I love asking staff what's good because they truly know.
