This is the restaurant at the Dessert Pines Golf Course and for obvious reason, has a great view of the golf course while having lunch. You have option to dine inside or outside patio. They have a limited selections to choose from but the food here are tasty and appealing. I've been here several times for business lunch and it's always enjoyable.

I work down the street from here and come to lunch here ever so often. Last time we came our server was very nice and had a bubbly personality. The menu does change but it never disappoints. Food is always great here. The wing were very tasty and the Cuban sandwich was great!

Food was okay and the portion size was good, but the service was pretty slow even though it wasn't super busy. Average experience overall

Terrible service. Went in while they were open and was turned away because their "kitchen was closed early" in the middle of the day.

Both were very good and the sandwich came with slightly spicy tots. It was the perfect amount of food and the bar seating was comfortable. We've been here a few times but haven't been back in too many years. That'll change now and we'll be back sooner. Glad to see that this place is still here since so many other restaurants we visited once are now gone.

The waitstaff were dressed very casual, jeans and t-shirt casual. Although the food is upscale, everything else about this place seems very casual diner like. We could even see most of the work going on in the small kitchen. Mostly shareable plates... Our table chose the deviled eggs with caviar - these were a hit! Dynamite shrimp, most at the table liked these, they were spicy and the flavor was decent, but I just felt like the sauce made the breading a bit soggy and it wasn't a favorite of mine. Pork Belly - This had a buffalo sauce on it, which I wasn't too excited about at first, but it worked better than I expected. Wish it was just a little crispier but it was tender and I enjoyed it. Oxtail risotto - this one had mixed reviews from the table, I really enjoyed it. The flavor was good. There's only a small amount of meat and it's shredded into the risotto. Overall the consistency was a little weird, very thick and almost sticky/dry, plus the dark color. They had a steak on the menu and the flavor was great, one of the pricier menu items but it was a good share. My wife ordered a burger without the bun. She said the patty was well over-cooked and so it was pretty dry. They don't offer gluten-free buns or bread - bummer. The service was generally prompt, but seemed uncoordinated at times. For example, it seemed our waitress was also handling a very large party outside on the patio, and randomly the hostess would bring us a drink refill (hostess stand was right beside our table). That's good in a way, they are all a team, but she also picked up my plate and silverware after only the first appetizer - mind you they bring everything out as it's ready, so don't expect the whole table to eat together, you are expected to share! When I asked if she could replace my silverware, she grabbed a fork and knife and handed to me, but they weren't rolled in a napkin or anything, just barehanded me some silverware... anyway, I thought that was odd. Overall, the food had some bright spots and perhaps worth a lunch if you are downtown. I probably wouldn't seek it out again, but I'm not mad about the meal we had either.

My husband is definitely more of a foodie and I'm happy to try new things but usually stick to what I know. We ended up doing the Chefs Tasting menu to try a little bit of everything and wow! The staff was kind but our waitress was 10/10 on her own! Super attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, our water glasses were always full and she was incredibly kind. The overall vibe of the place was intimate with the darker lighting, music was on but not blaring and even with the tables a little closer together I felt like you were still able to have privacy. The oysters were amazing! One was chilled and one was cooked. My favorite was the chilled and my husbands favorite was the cooked. I had never had oysters before and am now a huge fan! We added the Foie Gras to our menu and were blown away by how good it was! First time trying it, all the rave about Foie Gras is true! The snapper tostada is another highlight for us! So fresh and delicious and all the flavors went together incredibly well. Overall we really enjoyed our dining experience, trying new things and will definitely be back whenever we come out this way again.

We felt none of the dishes were good - in fact all were just mediocre at best. We ordered the Isaan Sausage, Oxtail Hummus, Grilled Oysters, and the Spanish Octopus. We wanted to order more, but with each disappointing bite after another, we just decided not to order any more. The first three dishes came out all within 5-7 minutes...and then the octopus came out maybe 15 minutes after the last dish. Service was spotty...we were told they would bring fresh plates but we ate a course with no plates, the snack dish came out third, I left the credit card on the table for 10 minutes and no one came. The Issan Sausage snack was salty - initial flavors reminded me of Vietnamese flavors but just didn't work for our palette. The oyster dish was ok but again, very salty. The hummus was bland and the oxtail added no flavor or texture. They tried to add crunch with the chickpeas but they felt like bothersome flossing issues to be dealt with later. The naan was more like an under toasted pita bread and there was no flakiness. The octopus dish was ok but nothing to write home about. If you follow my reviews, I try to always give the restaurant the benefit of the doubt and I rarely give poor reviews. Unfortunately there just weren't too many positives in this dining experience. But as always, maybe the food just didn't suit our taste but will suit yours. We decided very quickly to head over to Palace Station for their pan roast.

The vibe is upbeat with subtle Japanese-inspired influences woven throughout the space. From the moment I walked in, the staff was friendly, attentive, and impressively efficient. Despite a steady flow of customers, my order was taken and delivered in what felt like four minutes or less. A special shoutout to Bailey, who took the time to explain the menu and helped me select the perfect chocolate bar to take on my flight home. Ezra made the experience feel surprisingly personal, ensuring everything was taken care of and somehow always appearing at the right moment to refill my water before I even thought to ask. I was the VIP for my hour visit. That level of attentiveness is rare. The coffee was exceptional. My mocha latte with an extra shot was perfectly balanced--rich espresso, smooth texture, and just the right amount of chocolate without overpowering the coffee. Damian was absolutely working magic with the portafilter and steam wand. Every drink coming out looked like it belonged in a specialty coffee magazine. The pastry case deserves its own mention. It was filled with an impressive assortment of sinfully tempting baked goods, and judging by what I saw coming out of the kitchen, there isn't a bad choice on the menu. I was only in Las Vegas for a few days, but finding PublicUs was one of the highlights of my trip. I was unaware of the Westside Bistro until i saw it for Restaurant Week. The Bistro is part of the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas. As their RW introduction says, "Westside Bistro operates as a student training restaurant for the Culinary Academy of Las Vegas, providing hands-on learning opportunities for future hospitality professionals." The lunch menu for RW was three courses. For course 1, I ordered the soup of the day which was chicken vegetable. Large chunks of chicken with vegetables. Good broth and flavorful soup. Course 2, I chose the blackened chicken club. This was a blackened chicken breast, lettuce, tomato, bacon, onion, and Swiss cheese on a pretzel bun. This was quite a handful. It was a large and tasty second course. For course 3, I went with the lemon curd tart that was topped with an amount of browned meringue. It was a light way of ending my lunch Service was quite good. It seems like the time to go is around noon. Several tables were finishing soon after I arrived, and the bistro was quiet. Before I left, I got my iced quad espresso at the new coffee shop in the lobby. The bistro area is new. It is well appointed. This is a great place to stop in for lunch. I looked at their regular menu and there was a good number of choices from salads to burgers and dessert. Great find for RW 2026.
