On second visit I had a to go order and placed it about 10mins later the couple who order behind me got their food while I still haven't gotten mine and was still waiting it wasn't big order. So, I had the special two gyro for $13. Sounds like a great deal. But the amount of meat they put on it is sad it's basically two strips of meat. I'm pretty sure it's the same amount of meat if you order one normally gyro they just split it into two. So pretty much you're playing 3 extra dollars for a pita bread. The meat had no flavor, the tzatziki sauce had no flavor. The only thing I taste it was bread. I really wanted to like this place but sadly I didn't. I should have known when there's not one other person in the whole restaurant. There's probably a reason. I wish you the best of luck but unfortunately I will not return. read more

I stopped at this restaurant on a whim while exploring the Sound Transit System and had a delightful lunch. It's about a ten minute walk from the Lynwood light rail station. I had the chicken souvlaki plate which included delicious freshly cooked chicken, super yummy rice, pita slices, Greek salad, and tzatziki. The serving size felt large for the price. The atmosphere is a little fast foody but the cashier was very nice and brought the food to my table while quiet Mediterranean music played in the background. I highly recommend this place and hope to come back and try their other dishes in the future. read more

Great food! I have been here more than once and it's just that good. Their stuff is fresh -- the meat is never dry and they seem to always have more food for your buck. My family and I love this establishment. Gyros is good; the plates as well as dessert -- aka, their chocolate baklava. To make things interesting, we got take out this time. I got the Gyro plate and I was definitely craving french fries this time :D (Greek Fries are so much better when you get them piping hot and fresh!) I LOVE lamb so I definitely loved the seasoning and taste. It was under the bed of french fries and the salad was fresh, filled with tomatoes, olives and feta cheese. Gyro Delight is the best place to get gyro sandwiches in the Seattle area IMO. Being from Chicago, my wife and I are biased after realizing that they sourced their meat from the same company that many gyro spots in Chicago use. The meat is always flavorful with a touch of crispness. I'll admit I often eat half of the fries before touching the gyro. The fries can be crispy or soggy at times, but that doesn't bother me since this is often the case at gyro spots in Chicago. The dining area at Gyro Delight is fine and the service is great. We just love a good gyro with fries and a drink. At some point I'll need to try some other things on their menu. read more

This place is semi-hidden, and it shouldn't be. It's tucked between two buildings, so it makes the area quieter than usual. I ordered to go, and it was still a really good experience. The food was still warm when I got home, and it tasted delicious. The price isn't too bad with how much food you get either. The service was very quick. I'll definitely be returning. read more

Love their Chicago chicken gyro!! Their chicken is the best and not filled with herbs where you cant taste the meat. Only place i will get a gyro since I'm not a fan of lamb meat. Stopped by this place because a friend recommended it and I was so happy I did. I got 3 gyros, fries and a soup for $25???!! The quality and quantity of food you get from their combos are such good deals that is honestly hard to find nowadays anywhere. The worker was alone but very nice. He gave me their house hot sauce with my gyros, and the tzatziki sauce was awesome. Everything was freshly made and fried. Pleasantly surprised after my stop in today. Very busy at lunch when we got there which I took as a good sign. For #ThankYouThursday, I want to give a big shoutout to Gyro Delight. I last ate here in early September after a beautiful hike on the Lake 22 Trail in Granite Falls, and I still think about my falafel salad I ordered that day. On our way back from the hike, we were seriously craving Greek food. I did a little search on Yelp and this place popped up and sounded amazing. Gyro Delight is a tiny place with great food. The woman working that day was not overly friendly, but she was efficient and took our orders quickly (we were starving so I think we appreciated it). The weather was gorgeous, so we sat outside and ate our meals. My boyfriend ordered gyros and thought they were great. As I mentioned, I got the falafel salad. It was fresh, hot, and delicious. I was slightly disappointed in the pita, but I still ate every last bit of it. I thought that the hummus served with the pita tasted slightly like chemicals... I decided not to eat it and it didn't really ruin my experience. Overall, I definitely enjoyed this place and would come back in a heartbeat to order another falafel salad. read more

First off, the fries are delicious! The feta added an extra lift in texture and flavors--well balanced saltiness. I liked that a lot. The gyro? I think it needed more veggies or olives if some sort. Something was missing. Just okay for me. Maybe I should have asked for feta as well but I didn't. I said this place is super clean and well organized as far as take out, and pricing is fair. This has been my fave Greek place for years but something has recently changed. It seems like it must be under new ownership. This used to by family owned and the food tasted authentic and fresh. Today I walked in and was greeted by a sign for the new daily special- tacos! I ordered the chicken souvlaki plate and was not charged the same price that is advertised on menu the board. The quality of the food has also tanked. Pita bread is no longer fresh and gets hard and stale quickly as your eating it. Tastes like it was stale pita that was microwaved. The rice has changed as well and that used to be one of my favorite parts! Food tastes less authentic, less fresh and the addition of Mexican food and new employees has me believing that this little spot is under new ownership. So happy I finally stopped to try this place - I've been driving by it for yearsssssss. It's a fairly small and very casual spot with great food. I ordered the gyro salad and have nothing bad to say about it. The salad was fresh, the meat was tender and juicy, and they give you a sizeable portion. I noticed that many others started entering as well and even ordering to go/picking up. Looks to be a popular spot. I've already recommended this place in the 2 days that have passed and will surely return. Maybe next time I'll let the baklava and rice pudding tempt me. I've driven by this place countless times, but it's always been during traffic and did not want to go against traffic on my way out. Today I was able to swing by while my car was at Discount Tire and had a couple hours to kill. The place only had one customer when I came in and I almost thought they were closing up shop. Thankfully they weren't closed and after gazing at the menu I decided with the lamb platter. The platter came out on a large sized Chinet plate. Half the plate was a decent salad, the other half was a sliced up pita with yellow rice on top, two ok sized kebobs, and a small cup tzatziki. Lol. Like the only time the meal looked just like the menu pic. The meal was really more than a serving, but I did demolish the whole thing. I wish the rice had a little more flavor to go along with the yellow color, and if there was a little cup of humus, I'd say my visit would have been 4.5 star. The place has only about 20 seats, no big tables, but it looked like they getting more take out than dine in. If the location was better I'd stop in mire...for now I guess I can make visits when I get my tires rotated at the shop. read more
