We easily found parking and ordered at the counter on a saturday. We didn't wait long before our food came out. The gyro pita was the best I've had in a long long while. It was well distributed, and each ingredient made for well balanced meal; I especially loved the hummus and meat. This is hands down the BEST spot for gyros/shawarma around. They have everything! I have never had better shawarma!! They have great customer service, are super fast, food comes out hot and they have pineapple cream soda which we love to mix with mango lassi. I ordered this kebab saj with a double portion expecting a Chipotle sized saj wrap full of tasty kebab, but this is absolutely ANEMIC! I just paid an extra SIX DOLLARS for NOTHING!!! Great food! I haven't been to the restaurant per say as I've gotten the food delivered. This is the 2nd time I've ordered and their flavors are phenomenal. They're the only place I know that tops their fries (or should I say, Greek fries with garlic sauce!) I'm SUCH a HUGE fan of garlic sauce! Most Greek and Mediterranean places tops theirs with feta cheese and tzatziki sauce but man, garlic sauce triumphs it all! Their lamb and beef is very flavorful. My top favorite menu items are.... Special vegan meza sub rice - you get an assortment of fried cauliflower, falafel pucks, baba ganoush, hummus, dolmas, and a nice warm pita bread. Everything tastes so fresh and homemade, I am never disappointed. Especially the baba and hummus it's definitely home made and fresh every single time. The food was "okay" (nothing special). The real problem was cleanliness. They had the door to the restroom at the back of the dining area propped open, presumably to air it out... which made that entire half of the dining room smell like urine. So we sat at a table in the front away from the smell. Unfortunately every table was dirty/sticky, and the floor throughout was the same. Visited here couple of times after my first review. I felt the food were still good. But my recent experience completely changed by opinion. Tried the Mixed Veg bowl, Shawarma Lamb Souvlaki, Shawarma Chicken plate. We have tried these before and very confident about choices. The Lamb Souvlaki was quite ok. It had the flavor we were looking for. The best among our pick. We ordered double portion of the Chicken plate. The chicken was tender, but the plate didn't have any flavor as such. Same with the mixed veg bowl - it had a very few veggies and the cauliflower tasted ridiculous! It was more rice than the veggies to be honest. Lacked all the flavors we were hoping for. The service was really good. The staffs were friendly and helpful. But the overall experience wasn't great. A five star experience to a poor one. That's a big downgrade and huge let down. A friend of mine told me about this place so I decided to try. It's a long drive from Kirkland but I am glad I tried it. First of all the place was so clean. The two Gentlemen that worked there or own the place were very friendly. I ordered few things to go. The Falafel was truly delicious and it reminded me with the falafel I used to eat in Amman Jordan. The kids got gyro sandwich and a gyro Greek fries plate. They loved them and I can say that the portions were huge. I have the lamb shawarma sandwich and a plate of Humus and they both were amazing. They were serving a couple of customers ahead of us. They were really nice and patient while we asked questions about some food we were not familiar with. I wanted to order something new but decided to have the usual order, Chicken Shawarma plate. It comes with salad, hummus, grilled chicken on rice and a pita bread. It's just perfect combination. The shawarma was so good especially with tahini garlic sauce. The rice was a little hard unfortunately and no grilled veggies.. Screw these guys. Apparently they don't like substitutions, but it goes further. You cannot ask for anything that deviates from the list. I asked simply for no tzatziki sauce. He asked me to repeat it so I just said leave it off or put it on the side. They gave me the side eye with a frown, but said "OK". Then he handed it to me with a big crap eating grin. When I return to my office to eat it, they had sauced it up. Even the owner was in on it. That'll teach me! Apparently they failed the "repeat customer" class in business school. Purposely ruining a cusotmer experience seems like a good way to go out of business. Test it, call and order with exceptions.
