I honestly decided to give this place a try twice before I write a review and their chicken over rice was absolutely terrible. The chicken they use was very dry and rubbery. The rice was okay and their white sauce lacked flavor. I didn't enjoy the red sauce either. This is worst one out of the bunch. Gyro Hut is the best, then Gyro King, Halal Guys, Jones Halal, and finally Gyro Guys is in last place. The amount of white sauce seems lacking as well. read more

The lamb pieces were succulent and the toppings accommodated the gyro perfectly. My kids had the chicken Kabab and even though they are picky eaters they ate it without a fuss. I had actually had trouble finishing the large size platter, but that was not a problem since it is served in a to-go container. The restaurant's interior is minimal with no frills. Orders are taken at the counter. The cashier says that it usually takes 15 minutes to prepare the food. In my experience, it was prepared faster than that, but I was also the only customer inside. I'd give this place a 3.5 and expect my return trip may prove thenm to be 4 star; based on today's food delight, restaurant owner friendliness & quality customer service. It appears these guys opened recently so we'll make allowances for improvement. Such as, it was very cold inside the restaurant. The heat might have been running but it couldn't keep up with the open concept. The other item needing attention was water from the drink dispenser. It tasted funny. I notified the owner & asked for bottled water. He thanked me for alerting him. He brought me a bottled water which I was prepared to pay but he said it was on the house. I like that their menu is not too large, so they can concentrate on doing it well (rather than trying to do a million things with "just okay" quality). As recommended by other reviewers, I chose the combo plate, ordered size large to share between 2 people. He brought us our food order, and as we were about to walk out the door (it was a to-go order), he stopped us and realized he gave us a small, and asked us to wait for them to make another small to fix their mistake. Their honesty and integrity alone left such a great impression! Food was hot, tasty, and had reasonable ratio of meat-to-rice-to veg that you don't feel cheated, and the mint lemonade (frozen lemonade style, with fresh mint blended in) had just the right amount of mint not to be overpowering. I think I need to try a "plate". I won't say I didn't enjoy my gyro, but ok not sure it's the best thing on the menu. I also think my complaints have more to do with personal preference. For example, I will ask for more sauce. I would also ask for plain fries instead of seasoned. Lastly, I won't visit at a time when I'm absolutely starved. This isn't fast food for sure. Walked in here around 8ish on a Thursday and it was empty which was okay with us. We ordered a combo plate and a combo gyro. We also made a claim for the free fry offer. The combo plate was delish and came with a side of pita bread. I liked the sauce but had to add quite a bit from the extra sauce provided because my liking is a wetter sauce to meat ratio. It was very good but not the best gyro bowl I have had. Sorry guys there is just some steep competition out there! However, for this side of town, it will do in a pinch. I can't lie, I will be back for the distance to my home base but I do wish the food was a tad bit fresher. Also the fries were so soggy but I will give them a pass because the place was empty and they were free so I am going to say they probably just served what they had from earlier. BEST GYRO!! So much flavor. Portion are prefect. You will be full but not stuffed. The mango juice is a nice add on you have to try. The pita bread for the gyro melts in your mouth. The veggies were fresh and cold; just the right balance with the warm meat. The tzatziki sauce is very good as well. I also had the salad, which had crisp, pickled carrot and cauliflower added. They over charge when you place an order online compared to ordering in the restaurant. A gyro is 7.50 in the restaurant however I got charged $11 just for a gyro. And This does not include the fries. The gyro was great but I know never to order online. Especially when I could have got the meal with fries and a drink with the price I paid just for the gyro. read more

I like the food here and the times I went inside, before Covid, the staff was really friendly and professional. We ordered takeout yesterday and it was really good. They are the only place near here that serves falafel and I am thoroughly addicted to them. My only complaint is the styrofoam that everything is served in. Even when dining in the restaurant we had about 4 styrofoam containers to throw away. Surely a more eco friendly alternative is available. read more

I went to The Gyro Guys last night and had the #e lamb and chicken plate and it was delicious! The guys working there were really nice and make a delicious plate. The chicken was juicy and warm just like the lamb was. They were both seasoned well and tasted delicious on top of e rice. There was lettuce, cucumber, and tomato on the side which I mixed in and some white sauce drizzled on top.
