I had the pleasure of dining at Snooze A.M. Eatery for breakfast with two young girls I was chaperoning for work, and it was such a wonderful experience! First, I have to give a huge shoutout to our waitress. I wish I had gotten her name because she was absolutely delightful! She was so personable, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. Great service and even provided some jokes to lighten up the mood with the girls. Lol. To drink, I ordered the Rejuvenate for a little morning pick-me-up, and it was refreshing and just what I needed. For my meal, I had the Bravocado Toast, which I thoroughly enjoyed. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Our waitress also insisted we try her favorite pancake--it came topped with candied walnuts (and another topping I can't quite remember!), and I'm so glad she did. I'm typically a waffle girl, but this pancake may have converted me! It was incredibly fluffy, light, and perfectly balanced--not overly sweet, which I really appreciated. Overall, this was an excellent breakfast experience from the food to the outstanding service. If you're in the area and looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot, Snooze A.M. Food was actually really good, and our waitress was sweet... but baby let's discuss this "birthday celebration pancake" situation. I went in early to surprise my daughter for her birthday and specifically asked if they did anything special. I was told, "Yes! We do a celebration pancake!" Now maybe that's on me for imagining candles, singing, excitement, SOMETHING festive. Instead, a random employee silently walked up, dropped a pancake on the table like a government document, said "here's your celebration pancake," and disappeared into the wind. No personality. No happy birthday. No sparkle. Just pancake and abandonment. The food itself was great, atmosphere was cute, and we still had a good time, but the birthday experience definitely did not match the hype. If you're wanting a fun birthday moment... maybe lower your expectations to "side item with emotional confusion." Do better or don't offer it!! It was very RUDE! read more

We started our Sunday with a hearty breakfast at Snooze. We ordered the Pancake Flight which includes 3 flavorful pancakes- Sweet Potato, strawberry shortcake, and Pineapple Upside Down flavors. All of the flavors were sweet and delicious, but my favorite was the sweet potato. We also had the Garden Harvest Omelette that was filled with veggies and top off with avocado and cheese. It was also great. My wife and I split the dishes so we each had a sweet and savory breakfast. Our server, Paloma, was excellent. Her friendly demeanor and kindness made for a wonderful experience. She was thoughtful to let the cook know that we don't eat pork even before we mentioned it to her. The place was spacious and clean and decorated for the World Cup. I'm such a fan of Snooze! The fact that they have so many great gluten free options that it was hard to choose made me so happy. My boyfriend got the fried rice and it was fantastic with the pork belly. The pork belly with the rice and egg was the perfect. I ordered a pancake flight with egg whites, hash browns and a side of pork belly. The pork belly was great. It was thick and a nice size potion. The pancakes were fantastic. The gluten free chocolate chip and blue berry were my favorites. I will always visit snooze when I see it. Snooze has clearly put a lot of thought into their menu. Their wide variety of options is matched by the deliciousness of each dish. You can't go wrong with the Bacon but Different (brown sugar and cayenne, what a combination!) or Burrata Toast, but I'm a simple brained American who prefers a good pancake above all else when it comes to brunch. The customized flight pancakes check all the boxes for me: presentation, portion size, and most importantly, the flavor. It's quite large so I recommend sharing with someone else. Not a fan of the Protein & Veggie Egg White Scramble... I feel like I played myself by choosing something healthy at a place meant for indulging, but why even have it on the menu? The rest of the menu items taste too good to have this as an option. All in all, it's quite impressive for a restaurant chain to serve food of this quality. I drove over to Snooze after the first place I was trying to check out was not open but they were listed on Yelp as if they are (eye roll). Snooze is a solid go to, so I drove out of my way to get here. I remembered I had a coupon in my inbox which was still valid so I decided to partake of the pancake flight. I didnt eat in because I wasnt feeling like eating at the time but I knew I had a taste for pancakes. After placing my order online, I made phone calls and took care of some business affairs. When my promised order time came, I entered in. There were 2 people at the front check in- one for dine in and another for pick up. With just three people in the area plus crew members the entrance was congested. I looked around to see if possibly there was another area for pickup, but I saw packages of other food at the front entrance, so I was in the right place. I would suggest that pick up maybe be at the bar- much more space and not having to wait behind diners to be checked in and taken to their seats. That's not a grip, but the bacon is. Soon as I opened it, I saw that it was burnt. Maybe one slice wasn't. I don't eat bacon on a regular anymore, so when I do, it has to be worth eating. This was not. I don't live in the area, so my discovery at home did me no good, but at least the pancake flight made up for this major hiccup with the bacon. Pancakes were delicious. I loved having the variety and the portion size was just right. Probably my favorite was the Strawberry Shortcake. Least favorite was the Pineapple Upside down-because the pineapples are neutralized in flavor when placed in the pancake. The cinnamon roll pancake was okay- little too much cinnamon so it tasted powdery; syrup saved the day. Since I used a coupon, I didn't go too hard on the review, but I would dine in and see if I have these same results and of course, bring it their attention while dining concerning my dissatisfaction. Still a solid choice for brunch, but I'll be paying attention more on my next visit. read more

I initially tried this place in Phoenix and it was great, so when I saw they had it in Houston, it was a no brainer to try to experience the same phenomenal breakfast I had before. So we got up on Sunday and our party of 8 decided to dine here. There was a wait, but that's very typical of a Sunday right after church/ brunch time. We were willing to wait and we were not disappointed. Food was great. The pancake sampler is so good and the best way to try all the flavors. We all thoroughly enjoyed our food and our waitress was amazing. This is no frills kind of place so you can dress how you want and kick back with friends to have great food and some cocktails too as they have a full bar in house. Delicious way to start the morning! We came for a Sunday brunch to meet family, and we all enjoyed our experience! We waited for about 20 minutes for a table outside. It was perfect weather so this was great. The menu had tons of different options. I got the vegan banana pancakes and boy were they delicious! They were huge too... I could only eat two of them. Went for breakfast on a Saturday with a friend. There was a wait as always so when we went to the hostess stand, we were put on a waitlist. We were told the wait would be about 25 min and that we would receive a text when our table was ready so we went outside and waited. We were waiting for longer than expected so I went back in to find out what was going on. I was told that we were somehow removed from the waitlist and that they would give us the next available table. We ended up waiting another 10 minutes or so. This was irritating for me because this is not the first time I've had this experience at Snooze. The exact thing happened when I went to another location. Whatever is causing this error needs to be fixed because it's pretty inconvenient to be on a waitlist just to be told that you're not anymore or you've been taken off for some unknown reason. Anyway though, onto the review of the food and service, I ordered the shrimp and grits and the strawberry lavender lemonade. The shrimp and grits were good, as always. The lemonade was good but I'm not sure that I would order it again. I didn't really care for the lavender flavor. We were serviced by two waiters. One was in training and both were nice and attentive. I'm only giving 3 stars based on the confusion with the waitlist. read more

Came here with my family on Easter Sunday and got sat really quick to be frank, maybe around 5 minutes, and was served by Benjamin. It was loud but not super loud considering it was Easter. I got the Denver Omelet, and I was not super amazed but still good nevertheless. I've definitely had better Denver Omelets other places, but what really surprised me was the Signature Pancake Flight, I would definitely come back here just for their pancakes. Yes you can mess up eggs don't care what anyone says, but they did not! I always order one pancake on the side. Although they have some great yummy choices, I prefer the regular plain Jane buttermilk pancake. Nothing plain about it though...was served hot, light, fluffy...perfect with the syrup. We ordered coffee and iced coffee...both were good. We were seated promptly, service was good, waitress was attentive despite super busy morning. Our server, Lex, greeted us and was very friendly, and then she asked us if we had any allergies. My daughter has a gluten allergy and she made a mental note of it. She came back later with our drinks and saw a gift bag on the table. She asked if we were celebrating a birthday today. We said yes! It was my daughter's birthday. She took our orders and we received our food in a timely way. Later, she came and asked how everything tasted. (Everything was delicious by the way!) And then, she brought a huge pancake with sprinkles and a lit candle for my daughter . And she said," the pancake is gluten free"! We thought that was so thoughtful and kind.
