Food is great! The service is amazing. Ethan was our server and he was very tentative and kind. Will definitely be back. I want to try everything on the menu.

I'm so glad my sister and brother-in-law brought us here for dinner. Everything was very good. I'd give it 4 1/2 stars if I could, but I'm going to land on four unless I surprise myself while writing this review. While everything was indeed very good, I can't say it was great. It was close. I'd eat here again and I definitely recommend. But on to the food and the service. We had a lot of different dishes so there's lots to say. Our server was young. While that may sound like a dig, it is not. He was super friendly and attentive. We started with some pretty awesome appetizers. The Shiitake Short Rib was falling-off-the-bone (and it is served on the bone) was perhaps the best bite of the night. There are a lot of appetizers to choose from. If you find yourself at Miru, order this. We also tried the Gulf Grouper - Flash Fried, Mango, Tomato, Basil. This was also a delicious bite. I ordered the Spanish Octopus, listed as an appetizer, for my meal. I'm a fan of octopus and order it whenever I see if on a menu. Though an appetizer, the octopus dish was a good size. The description clearly states it's made with peppercorn chile and I should have been prepared for it to have a kick. That said, it caught me off guard. It only took a few bites to adjust to the spice of the dish, after which I thoroughly enjoyed it. Other items ordered included Scottish Salmon with Ginger, Lemon, Lobster Butter, Shrimp, Blue Crab and Sautéed Asparagus... a lovely dinner. When the last couple arrived they ordered the Red Fish dinner, which included Lobster Brown Butter, Crab, Shrimp, Brussel Sprouts and Shallots. They shared the meal and enjoyed it very much. Mark ordered Fish & Chips - Miso Icelandic Cod, Yuzu Tarter and Fries. He definitely enjoyed his meal. I'm not surprised the overall rating for Miru Seafood is 4.5... hmmm. It's well deserved. There are so many options on the menu and everything we tried was quite good. We could go back and get an entirely different meal. I'm confident it would be delicious.

Tries MiRu for the first time. The food was amazing, and our server, Marley, help us make our selections and did an excellent job taking care of us. we started with the scallops and the crab cakes for appetizers. for the main cours, I enjoyed the crispy curry Red Snapper Fried Gulf Snapper, Red Coconut Curry, Scallops Shrimp, Shallots, Emperor Mushroom. My husband had a grilled Redfish In a Lobster Citrus Brown Butter, with Blue Crab Shrimp, Asparagus, Shallots, and Basil. Everything was delicious.

Finally tried Miru seafood, after having tried Michiru (sister restaurant) several times before. Unlike the traditional sushi establishment, this is more Asian fusion with an upscale flare. We sat at the bar, had a couple of cocktails, and ordered 2 fish entrees. Great service, great ambiance, great food.

My husband and I just had dinner at Miru Seafood, we were celebrating our anniversary. The place is beautiful, very classy. The menu is very interesting, we wanted to try everything. We started with some wagyu gyozas and Black Garlic Snapper Carpaccio. The carpaccio was exceptional, the fish just melts in your mouth, that black garlic omg is to die for! The gyozas are filled with flavor, some of the best I've had so far. This appetizers are everything!! I'm eager to come back just to try some more! This place is a gem! The staff was great also. And service is quick!! We also had the Red Snapper curry, recommended by our very attentive waitress, great recommendation by the way, I love that the fish had the skin on, battered and fried to perfection! The curry sauce was amazing, mildly sweet, with a hint of lemongrass, mild curry flavor, the scallops and mushrooms were delish!! What a wonderful experience at miru. 100% recommend! We'll be back in no time!

Perfection! After reading rave reviews on the BAHFL page, we decided to give Miru Seafood a try for our anniversary dinner. Wow! From the pumpkin espresso martini to the Lobster Cones appetizer, Alaskan Halibut, Curry Red Snapper to the Hummingbird Cake, every bite was delicious. Our friendly, professional server, Dawn, was on point with suggestions and making sure we had a wonderful dining experience. It all made for a memorable anniversary dinner. We will be back!

Definitely our new favorite restaurant!! Not just favorite seafood, favorite of ALL. The menu is based on fresh fish they receive and the flavors they are able to infuse into the foods you've been eating your entire life will blow you away! Great atmosphere and friendly staff - the owner even came to check on us at one point and she was so pleasant.

Calamari- all Rings and amazing! A hint of spice!

Everything! From the moment you walk in the ambience is nice- a casual elegance- with a touch of sports bar having a TV above the beautiful bar and wine wall. The service - kind- attentive and helpful with suggestions and recommendations- and accommodate sub requests The Food- everything is flavorful- cooked perfectly- not over not under- and presented beautifully! A nice place to go- planned or spur of the moment- to have a relaxed- nice meal among friends.

MiRu Seafood was the perfect spot for a birthday dinner with friends. We made a reservation for 6 people to be on the safe side, but when we walked in, a reservation wasn't needed. There were only a few tables taken, which was surprising given how nice the ambiance is. Collectively as a group we tried a little bit of everything so I'll just hit the highlights for each. Calamari - light batter, very tasty spicy dipping sauce The Big Scallop - lobster butter garlic soy deliciousness Rock shrimp - crispy and covered in sweet and spicy mayo Brussel sprouts - so addicting we ordered 3 orders, must get Shell baked scallops - spicy aioli and mushrooms mixed in Crab cake - good size chunks of crab, lobster butter Fish n chips - BEST thing on the menu we tried. Super light batter Wagyu short rib - ultra tender, melts in your mouth Hawaiian Swordfish - very meaty fish w/ their tasty lobster brown butter sauce Lobster pumpkin soup - interesting twist on the usual lobster bisque, very creamy Redfish - very meaty fish, topped with blue crab Seafood Noodles - rice noodles mixed with clam sauce Scottish Salmon - beautifully plated, shrimp and blue crab, good but the least favorite dish just bc the salmon was slightly overcooked/dry We also tried a few cocktails with the jasmine old fashioned being the favorite. Coming from the owners of Michiru sushi, MiRu serves a lot of high quality seafood. The service was great, and their bar area is beautiful. I'm really hoping they add a happy hour in the future for discounted food/drinks. But overall, this place seriously needs more attention for how great their food is. I'm really hoping League City and the surrounding areas give them the support they deserve. Cheers!

I had no idea that this place was a Japanese-inspired restaurant until our server told us. I came here with some friends for a birthday dinner, and it's located in a stand-alone building. It's in a parking lot with plenty of parking. Inside the restaurant, it almost gives you an upscale vibe with the dim lights and how nice everything looks. Even the back-wall bar looks very elevated too. There is plenty of seating inside. What our table ordered: -calamari -rock shrimp -brussel sprouts -half shell baked scallops -seared scallops -Scottish salmon -rainbow trout -fish & chips The calamari and brussel sprouts were great appetizers. I loved how fresh the calamari was, and the furikake seasoning that it had. That made it really unique. It even came with a house-made sauce (very similar to spicy mayo, mixed with something else), that was really delicious. We originally had ordered only 1 order of the brussel sprouts, and then ended up adding 2 more extra orders of it for the table because of how much we enjoyed it. The seared scallops and half shell baked scallops were DELICIOUS. Highly highly highly recommend if you're a fan of scallops. The seared scallops had the most amazing flavor and texture. The half shell baked scallops was coated in a delicious sauce with mushrooms. I would get these dishes again. The fish and chips were actually one of our tables' favorites. The way the fish was battered was to perfection and the fish was full of flavor. I was hoping the salmon would be a bit jucier but after a few bites, it did feel a little dry to me. At least a little bit more dry than I would've liked. Overall, the flavor was good, but I would've preferred it to be a bit jucier. Our server was fantastic with refilling our waters, checking up on us, and giving us excellent recommendations. She was very knowledgeable about everything on the menu that we asked her about. I was pleased overall here. This is a great seafood spot in the area!

    Sake mussels 10/10

This restaurant is a 10/10 recommend!! The atmosphere was perfect for a date night. The service was perfect, Rebecca was our server and was super helpful in helping us select the most amazing dinner and was very knowledgeable! Our dinner was phenomenal! We will be back for sure!

Best seafood restaurant in League City! They have a great variety of fish with hints of Asian flavors. My favorite dish was the Alaskan halibut! The yuzu/miso flavor made it so buttery without being too decadent. Also get the seafood noodles on the side. They look like bland white noodles but had so much flavor!

Halibut with scallops & shrimp. Sauce on the side.

Made it to Miru's first anniversary ( Congrats to Andy, Dave and Staff) Food was little too saucy for me but flavorful. Service was excellent thanks to Maria and the bar staff . Parking was plenty.

The restaurant is super clean and the environment is always welcoming. They greet and seat you pretty fast. My only suggestion is they train the employees more on cleanliness- I watched one of the waiters continuously scratch his head then touch plates and he coughed in his hand. I sat at the bar and never saw him wash his hands. I did tell what I presume to be the manager he went and washed his hands then did it again. It would make customers turn away. But the food is good. I also had the boudain balls and peel and eat shrimp. Both were good!

We finally went through the reviews and decided it was the last day of vacation so we went. It did NOT disappoint. The outside looks a little sketchy for a seafood restaurant, quite honestly, but the inside was nice. You walk in and see several desserts which looked scrumptious. The seating area is very open and easily accessible. Our server was a young kid and very kind. He seemed a bit new as he couldn't answer many questions about the menu, or simply is one of those "read and figure it out yourself" type of servers. I'm sure you know the type. My husband and I both felt like he was maybe "partaking" before work as he was a little apathetic about everything. We ordered the corn dip appetizer which was the perfect blend of savory and spicy. Our toddler loved it. My husband ordered crab crusted red fish and he was blown away. I got the coconut shrimp and definitely should have done the half order. We got a few drinks and mine was pure alcohol, no juice to the point it tasted like I was drinking rum straight from the bottle. For dessert we got booze Oreo milkshakes which were delicious and we were able to take them home. We would definitely be back!
