However, if you want to get food delivered from the Baybrook location (even though it's an option), you go through all the effort of looking through the menu, adding everything to cart (which you can't add a wedge salad or make modifications to anything), ONCE YOU GET ALL THE WAY TO THE PAYMENT PAGE, it tells you that there was something wrong and your order cannot be placed. Highly upset with this as there should not even be an option on the website for delivery if you can't make this happen. Jacob and Matt took exceptional care of us and made our experience so much fun. Their energy, attentiveness, and hospitality were unmatched. We started with a dozen raw oysters and a half dozen Oysters Bienville, and baby... when I tell you they were to DIE for! Fresh, flavorful, and absolutely delicious. I ordered the Chef's Special: Linguine Alfredo with shrimp and crawfish, topped with fried red snapper, served with green beans and garlic bread. Whew! Every bite was seasoned to perfection. My wife ordered the Salmon Latiffe with Brussels sprouts and rice, and it was BOMBBBB. Cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The food here is really good! Ever since I discovered this spot, I haven't even been back to Pappadeaux, which used to be my go-to. I've been here quite a few times now, and the quality is always consistent. The chargrilled oysters are a favorite, they have four different kinds, and I've tried them all. Each one is delicious (seriously, no misses). The gumbo is another must-have; I get it every single visit. Fried shrimp? Solid. The blackened salmon? Also really good. I wasn't the biggest fan of the pasta, but that's just personal taste. Overall, the food and service are both excellent. I keep meaning to come for happy hour, but haven't made it yet. Incredible food, incredible service, incredible drinks. We went for a really late lunch on a Wednesday afternoon as we have a one year old so it was nice and quiet when we arrived. The waiter was great and super patient with us as we looked through the menu. I ordered my son's food, our drinks and appetizer immediately and it was out rather quickly. I ordered a crab cake for an appetizer and all three of us enjoyed it, especially my son who devoured most of it himself. I ordered the filet and was blown away by the potatoes which was surprising, because I don't typically like potatoes au gratin. My husband got the crab stuffed flounder and he really enjoyed it. For dessert, he got the crème brûlée and I ordered a chocolate martini; I've been searching for a good chocolate martini, and this one took the cake! By the time we finished our late lunch, it was nearing five o'clock and beginning to get slightly busy. Nobody seemed irritated by our fussy baby, but we wanted to get out before he got too loud as it does come across as a nicer restaurant even during lunch. I've come to this location multiple times over the years and each time the service has gotten worse and worse. I was sat at 6:20 on a Sunday and 5 minutes go by and no one has greeted us. I watched multiple servers walk by without helping us. I finally stopped a server just for water and he told us that it is frowned upon to help another servers table... We attended on June 19, 2025 at lunch time. We arrive and got sat. Our server warren introduced himself and welcomed us. It wasn't busy inside and the establishment look clean and nice Let's talk about the good: 1 star for The food: The food was amazing. When expect creole food this hit the spot. I ordered off the lunch menu and the pricing was quite decent. We all enjoyed our food. Even one got the house special for that day. Deviled eggs on point. Another star for our server: Warren! You brought the Creole vibe and culture! You were upbeat, attentive, and made us feel as if we were dining in Louisiana. It was extra special because he is from Louisiana and so was our birthday girl. Everything started going down hill once the cake celebration started. Warren got us to sing in a beautiful louisana style bday song and others in the restaurant joined in. In second nature fashion the bday girl proceeded to cut the cake after blowing her candles and was able to pass out 2 slices. At this point the manager, Mike Doyle, approached out table and started off with "Now I told y'all you can take pictures with the cake but you can not cut cake and eat the cake here. Now you can take it outside and eat it. It's a health violation. The owners would not like this and wants this to be and upscale restaurant." We all just looked at him like and we told him we didn't know. Mike Doyle said " did Warren tell you that you could? Because I will talk to him." We said warren didn't tell us anything and we didn't know to ask since other restaurants we have been have allowed up to have a cake. We called Warren to apologize if we got him in trouble because that was not our intent. It turns out that there is a big NO sign on the don'ts for the restaurant when you walk in but we didn't read it. As we walked in and asked for a table and got seated right away. However, these rules are not listed on their website so where is the notification ahead for those planning a special event !? Apparently one of our colleagues who arrived late with the cake was who the manager spoke with but didn't tell the rest of the table. Therefore hi approach to the table by stating "I told y'all" was inaccurate. He told one person out of 7. The Manager is was allowed no more stars for the place nor any repeat customers from at least 7 of us. Mike Doyle definitely needs to take a class on crucial conversations, as a manager should have managed up his employee instead of place blame, took no ownership because he said this is what the owner wants, and never provides an alternative other than we can go outside and eat the cake. First off his approach could have been handled better and allowed a birthday celebration to become a bad experience. Instead of coming to the table to acknowledge that we were there for a bday party and started off with - first off I want to say happy birthday and many blessings on another year but however our policy (if there is even one) stated no outside cakes to be consumed at our establishment. According to Mike Doyle the owners want this to be an upscale restaurant but at a mall location? Even on here the attire is listed as casual. I'll give kudos to Mike that he successfully in one conversation managed to make 7 people a no repeat customer. I feel bad that Warren has a manager like him and deserves better. Unfortunately the only thing creole about that place is the food. Don't expect anything else. We have other options in the area that will provide the creole ambience , creole vibe, and creole food. read more

My DH and I had such a lovely dinner at The Rouxpour last night. Thomas, our wonderful waiter, served us throughout our dinner. The food was fabulous and Thomas was amazing. He was very knowledgeable, sweet, funny but also professional. He wasn't too intrusive either which I love in a server. We had a couple appetizers off their happy hour menu and I normally am not a fan of boudin but not anymore after having their stuffed boudin jalapenos....delicious!! Their crab stuffed flounder, fried shrimp and even their vegetable sides were all cooked to perfection. We split some desserts and they were all drool-worthy but their white chocolate bread pudding should win awards! I am normally not a fan of bread pudding because it can be dense but not theirs...it was light, fluffy and had so much flavor. The ambiance of the restaurant was perfect and we just had a great time. It is located in restaurant row outside at Baybrook Mall. Parking is hit or miss with it being busy most of the time. So Rouxpour is touted as an upscale cajun cuisine and oyster bar. My intention was to dine in for lunch only because prices seemed a bit steep. So we managed to get there around 2:10 in the afternoon. However, I was informed I missed the lunch menu by 10 mins and dinner was being served? The server just apologized. Most restaurants with continuous service serve lunch from 11 to 4 pm. I was a bit irritated but rolled with the kick to the gut to put it lightly. We started off with the Cajun Blackened Shrimp Deviled Eggs. Interesting pairing for the palate, and it did have a good flavor with a kick due to the infusion of cayenne pepper. My daughter loves their cajun pork chops and thoroughly enjoyed them. I went with the Blackened Chicken Sandwich. The chicken was slightly overcooked. Chicken, when cooked to its proper temp, would be juicy and succulent. The ingredients included bacon, 2 slices of provolone cheese and mayo. It was complimented by a side of seasoned fries. Sweet potato fries were offered as well. Overall decent portion size for both of our entrees. Unfortunately, we didn't get to indulge into any of their desserts! I do know I would have loved to try the Bananas Foster and Creme de Brulee. Rouxpour does not disappoint and a brunch staple. This location has been a favorite for some time now. The staff, the entertainment, and of course the food is all incredible. The people and staff create a good brunch experience and environment. We've had a number of items on the weekend menu and I can't recommend just one. Our go-to drink is the sazerac. The bar is lined with whiskey and bourbon, so if you're a fan, you will not be disappointed in the selection. Ask for the binder and the bar can do tastings as well based on preference. read more

I definitely have to state the level of appreciation for this location over the one in Sugar Land. This could be due to size as the Baybrook one is more roomy and has a live performer. (Bonus) Nevertheless, the food and service is unbelievable in either location. My dish was the one displayed in the pics, filled with flavors creating the desire to once again visit this dining establishment and see what more creativity they maybe in store. Seating was spacious, the lighting was great. Of course the addition of music adds to quiet and relaxed comfort of romance or just enjoying a meal out.
