Chicken tacos are EXCELLENT. Good value for what was given. The only thing I did not enjoy was the lamb gyro. It had a flavor that did not sit well with me (nothing to do with quakity, just did not like the taste). Other than that would go again and try everything else. read more

Don't let the outside of this place fool you. The outside may look unappealing but the food is great! I had the #2 chicken & rice small platter and my only regret is not getting the large. Food was extremely fresh and had perfect taste, not too over or under seasoned. My son had the #12 chicken gyro and the minute he bit into it he already was asking for another. Great food. So my cousin is driving and I tell him that I'm hungry and we end up here. He tells me that he has been here before and that it is good. I'm like "ok, what do I order?" He says, "don't worry". Ok so I won't- I hear him order a #9 (I believe). We get the food and it looks like a soft taco wrap from taco bell lol. It obviously isn't, he tells me to just take a bite and OMG, whatever it is - it is good. They gave us some ranch type sauce which we dipped our fries in. The food is really good and they serve a good amount of it. With each combo order you can either take a can of soda from the cooler in the front or you can have a cup to use at the fountain. Me and 3 friends went 30 minutes before closing just to grab a quick bite. Food tasted alright until the next morning when I was sick with food poisoning and was throwing up on and off the next 2 days. Didn't eat anything that 2 days and was in bad shape. Food is seasoned well and portions are large. My son loves their lamb gyro and always asks for extra tzatziki sauce (even though it comes with more than enough). The red sauce adds some spice for us adults. The salad portion is large also. Overall great food and great customer service! So glad we discovered this place! read more

Went here for first time couple days ago for to-go and it was great. The family enjoyed the food. Seriously, some of the best, if not the best lamb I've ever had. I got the gyro and it was super fresh, crispy edges and so so tender. The combo was huge, tons of hand cut French fries that were perfectly seasoned. My husband got the chicken lamb combo and agreed the lamb is just better! Will be a regular here. Shady place. And the front desk employee didn't even pronounce the word Gyro properly. Rule#1 if your restaurant sells gyro then learn how to pronounce that word. The person at the service counter was super nice but the whole place looks very dinky, outdated and cluttered. Very old looking with mix-matched furnitures. I've ordered from here twice already but each time it has failed my expectations because of the good ratings here. The food tastes really old. Skip on the desserts. I got a slice of tiramisu - the only slice left from a cake made who knows when - and it tasted very odd and dry and definitely made me a bit sick eating it. I barely forced down half before I had to dump it in the trash. I absolutely hate wasting food so that's a huge red flag. I had asked if the cake was made recently seeing as how despite my being there before noon all but one slice of the cake was already gone. I was told it had been made fresh recently but I am doubtful. I guess being a day or even a few days old wouldn't be a problem but golly this cake tasted way, way older than that... Stay away from the lamb gyro. It was really bad taste wise and smell wise. The chicken was decent but not enough for me to want to come back ever. The fountain drinks are probably old as well seeing as how when I tried to fill up my cup the soda came out completely flat. I suggest buying the soda cans instead if you are still adamant on eating there after reading this. read more

My husband really wanted to try this place as he has eaten Mediterranean food in Connecticut before, so I agreed to try. I reviewed the menus and decided on the chicken Shwarma and wasn't really sure what it was. I received the chicken shwarma which was cut up chicken with a sauce wrapped up in what I would call a tortilla, but probably another name for it. It was very good. I also received fries with it that were homemade/ home cut and were very good. My husband really like MY fries! He picked up the lamb gyro which was also good, but a bit salty for me. At last! Good Mediterranean food near me. I had the chicken shawarma sandwich. It was large, juicy, flavorful and delicious. Haven't tried anything else yet, but I will return. Good prices, friendly, and clean as my mom's kitchen. If my next visit is as good I will raise vote to a five( maybe) I usually don't give fives except for long term continuous quality service. They are too new. But they are a lot friendlier than the last place here. Those people were VERY unfriendly and made me wait so long for service( place was empty) that I gave up and left.
