My husband and I just visited Kasra for a late lunch, the place is clean with a nice atmosphere. The waiter was very helpful and respectful. As we sat down we were given bread and a little salad with feta, wonderful homemade bread! We started with hummus, it came pretty quick and it was delicious, very creamy and nice tahini flavor, perfect with their bread. We shared a Jejuh, this is a very special dish, is a whole cornish hen they marinate for 24 hours, it was juicy, and super flavorful, with a side of white basmati rice super fluffy. Our plan was to try another dish but we got pretty stuffed in the best way possible, and we will definitely go back to try some more dishes!

Came here with my mom for lunch, I enjoyed the salmon and the hummus. The chicken dish we also got was not my fave but not bad! The naan that came out to dip our hummus was cold and hard. The tap water tasted not good so I had to get a soda which I typically don't drink! But I'd come back for the salmon and hummus alone ! Only one other table was in there while we were around 1 pm on a Thursday

This is the second time that I have ordered for delivery. Both times, the food arrived much more quickly than I expected using the Favor app. I am happy to report that the food is as delicious and flavorful as I remembered from my first time.

Excellent Persian restaurant- tried both beef and chicken sultani dishes over rice, Persian salad, and hummus. Skewers were tender and flavorful and prices were reasonable all things being considered. Really enjoyed the fresh bread as well always ask for more of this. Quality is as good as the downtown locations in my opinion, will definitely return for a quick dinner or takeout

What a lovely lunch spot. The food was good, but the chicken kabobs was definitely better than the beef kubideh. Portions were great! The naan appetizer was light and good. The feta was amazing! Adding the oil/vinegar to the rice made it more flavorful. The decor was bright and beautiful. The service was prompt and friendly. I was happy there was a changing table in the women's bathroom! There was only one stall, and the table was in it, but at least it was available. We had a great experience and I definitely recommend if you want good, affordable food that's light and not too heavy.

After visiting NASA, we were famished on a hot Sunday afternoon. I saw this place close by and decided to try it out. We were promptly seated by the owner. As soon as we sat down, we were offered feta, radish and some herbs to munch on. We started by ordering hummus. The pita bread was soft and pillowy. Hummus was okay, but I was pleasantly surprised with an extra helping of pita bread. We ordered garlic butter shrimp, chicken kebab and beef/chicken kubideh combo. Shrimp with rice was spectacular. It came with roasted vegetables. Chicken kebab was soft and flavorful. Kubideh combo was also good. The server was very attentive and the place was clean.

Kasra is located in Webster, across from NASA Johnson Space Center. There is plenty of parking spaces available and it is handicap accessible. The inside of the restaurant gives a flare of a modern cafe with portraits of Persian calligraphy nicely hung on the walls. There is plenty of seating available for both short and large groups. I went to Kasra for an early dinner in mood for some Persian kabobs. The server brought a small plate of some fresh salad (mint, freshly plucked parsley leaves and a few pieces of cheese). I ordered a lentil soup as an appetizer while still making up my mind on what I want to eat. The soup was brought right away with a pita bread and tasted okay. Before I made up my mind on what I wanted to order, I noticed that there isn't any sign either on the menu or in the restaurant that tells the customer who are in for halal food that it is served there. In fact , I noticed that there wasn't any halal' sign on the main door either. When I asked the server if the food is halal, she pointed to a chicken item on the menu which she said wasn't halal but everything else was. I was a little confused and went over to ask the guy standing behind the register if they serve halal food. He told me that they do. When I asked him, that I don't see any sign of it either on the menu or anywhere else in his restaurant, he told me that he doesn't want to advertise it. Since I was in mood for some kabobs at a halal eatery, I paid my dues and left the place. I don't think I'll be coming to this place for halal food. I think it's a case of false advertisement in yelp where it shows up as a halal restaurant.

We decided on dropping by for lunch driving back to Dallas. It's a large restaurant with pretty wall decor and clean. The food was authentic, very large portions and delicious! The kashke bademjan was like homemade And although the koobideh was all beef, it was so yummy! Great place for authentic Iranian food

It's been a year since the last time I was here with my girlfriends. I'm with my family tonight for a last minute dine out decision (I'm so tired and have no energy to cook at home). I'm glad we came. It's just how I remembered it. That fresh baked warm naan dipped in garlicky humus is just delish. I swear I could've stopped right there and that could've been my entree. Everything we ordered - from the chicken kabobs to the lamb shank soup to the lentil soup and humus - they're ALL delicious. And the servings are HUGE we ended up having 4 to-go boxes for all of us! And might I add - the servers here are the BEST! I don't remember when the last time I've seen servers who are not only attentive to our needs and quick to fill our glasses with water, but they seriously look like they're HAPPY to be there. :) Whoever is running this business must be treating them well because it shows on how they treat their customers!

First time customer, decided to stop by after going to Space Center Houston and so glad we did, and so glad we did! Visiting from which has many quality Persian food, and we were so impressed of our entire experience here! THANK YOU. We will definitely stop by next time we are home. Food: food was amazing! We had some fresh baked bread, appetizer yogurt and cucumber, sultani beef and Cornish hen...ALL delicious and highly recommended . Staff: extra friendly staff who kept our drinks full and very professional with their service. The owner was also very pleasant and stop by to check on us a few times. Location: plenty of parking, and both indoor outdoor dining with a great decor that feels like home. Prices are great, specially for the portions and quality of food.

This is my second time ordering from this place, and today will be my last. I ordered the chicken sultani and substituted the rice for a persian salad. The salad was missing, and there was no rice. I called the restaurant, and the gentleman that answer was very rude. Saying he added the salad to my order. The order was Uber Eats, and he said maybe the driver took it. The bag was sealed, and the pictures show what I received. I do not wish to give my business to places that will treat you like you got the food for free. Getting very loud with be and being so rude. A business is not just about the food but the customer service.

It's the kind of spot that works just as well for a casual dinner as it does for a relaxed night out with friends or family. We started off with the lentil soup, which was comforting and flavorful--light yet satisfying, with a nice balance of spices. The hummus was smooth, creamy, and elevated even more by the complimentary fresh bread, which came out warm and perfectly baked--easily one of the highlights of the meal. For mains, the Koobideh Combination stole the show. The kababs were juicy, well-seasoned, and cooked perfectly, with that classic smoky flavor that makes Persian kabobs so good. Definitely the standout dish and a must-order. The Salmon & Chicken combo was equally impressive--both proteins were tender, nicely grilled, and paired beautifully with the saffron rice and grilled vegetables, giving you a great mix of flavors and textures. We also tried the Soujuk & Cheese Lahmajun, which added a nice twist to the meal. It had a crispy base with rich, savory toppings, and the cheese brought everything together really well--great for sharing. Avesta is a solid go-to for Persian cuisine in Houston. Between the quality of the kababs, fresh bread, and overall flavor, everything hit the mark. Pair that with the great atmosphere and welcoming staff, and it's definitely a place worth coming back to

The bread the veggies that came out were very good. The appetizer sampler we got the eggplant dish, hummus, and yogurt and shallot. The yogurt was pretty tangy with light shallot flavor that wasn't super detectable but it was still nice. The koobideh was juicy and the rice and tahdig that came with it was super yummy. I don't love the seasoning for the chicken koobideh but that's just a preference thing nothing was wrong or unpleasant about it. The lamb koobideh was on point. The meat that my SO had was very good as well. Beef was tender. The chicken was tender. The only thing I was confused about was that my SO was supposed to also have tahdig on his rice but didn't receive it, he just got normal rice. My SO didn't tell me until the very end of the meal though so we didn't say anything to them but it was strange to forget that part of the meal. We didn't knock them for that because my SO didn't bring it to their attention and I'm sure they would have fixed it if we told them. Service was very friendly. They kept checking on us and were very polite. The outside of the restaurant is unassuming in a strip mall but the inside is pretty. There are some other Persian places that we prefer but the tahdig and the service and the juiciness of the meat were great here. The hummus was not our favorite though which to us is a big component that we like to eat. 4/5.

This is the case with Lama Mediterranean Cuisine in The Woodlands. My wife had a doctor's appointment at 2 pm and we live about 35 miles away, I figured go early and get some lunch and then get to the doctor with a full stomach. We put the address into the GPS and pulled right up in front of the restaurant. While it was nice weather outside, we decided to sit indoors and I am glad we did because I noticed some diners outdoors were batting away insects. Our server, Abraham came quickly and took our drink orders while we studied the menu and admired the beautifully decorated interior of the restaurant. Blue is a strong color they have used effectively, there is a large dinging room for a big group just off the main dining room and a bar at the far west end. We ordered some appetizers and they came out quickly, We had a small order (4 pieces) of the Fried Hallumi Cheese and also Kebbeh. Both came with a small sampling of cucumber, tomato and red onion which paired well. The Kebbeh had the most fragrant seasoning, I believe a mix of cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and clove. The serving sizes were ample and after trying some we both agreed to save room for the entrees we ordered, my wife had the Gyro Sandwich and I had the Chicken Shawerma, both were wrapped in a super fresh pita that had to be house made. My wife had the regular fries and I had sweet potato which were cooked perfectly, so light and crisp. We couldn't resist ordering some baklava to go, my wife thought walnut sounded good but our server said he felt the cashew was the best so we ordered that. When he brought it out, he said that there were 2 pieces of the cashew but he also added one of walnut at no charge, what a treat. We will be coming back here, the restaurant overall was super fresh and clean, service was great and the food was fantastic.

It's one of the best restaurants on Center Street and, in my opinion, one of the healthiest options too. A meal here almost always starts with the hummus and pita. The hummus is unbelievably smooth and flavorful, the kind that keeps you dipping until you've accidentally made it a meal of its own. The tzatziki is another standout. Creamy, cool, and garlicky with just the right tang, it's the kind of sauce that makes everything it touches better. I've never been big on eggplant dips, so I haven't gone for that, but I know plenty of people swear by it. My usual order is the pita gyro with a Greek salad. It feels fresh and filling without being heavy, though I have to admit their fries are hard to resist. On my last visit I went for the mixed chicken and shish kabob plate. The meat was tender, juicy, and seasoned so well that I didn't even need the extras, though of course I still used them because that tzatziki is just too good. For dessert, the baklava is always worth saving room for. It's flaky, sweet, and just the right amount of indulgent at the end of a healthy-feeling meal. Bibi's can get packed around lunchtime, and once you've eaten here it's easy to understand why. The food is fresh, consistently delicious, and a step above what you'd expect from a quick lunch stop. I'll be back, as always, and one of these days I'll slow down enough to give the menu the detailed attention it deserves
