First off this address is wrong, they've moved to Newkirk Plaza right when you get off the B/Q train. As for the food, long story short it was disgusting. I got the chicken rice platter with a side of pita (which looks delicious in the photos) but the chicken was chewy, cheap and not very flavorful. I made it only a few spoonfuls in before my gag reflex started kicking in. Which is when I reached for the pita to settle myself and found out that it was cold, a little stale, and greasy. Honestly a complete waste of my time and money and would encourage you to avoid. One of my best friends is a Pakistani dude who, for as much of a Bensonhurst guido mixed with Sunset Park thug that he sounds like, is a Brooklyn Desi boy all the way. Not as good as it used to be when the Lebanese guys used to be there reason being is that the chickpeas has been a little bit on the hard side the past three visits as well as the sauces seem to be too runny for me and they never used to have the orange color chicken still pretty tasty though just do not much care for the visuals :) I also must agree with some of the other reviewers that all but one of the new guys seem to have attitude problems definitely not the right way to conduct and operate a successful business I believe read more

I have been going to this place for the last 10 years, and it is just one of my favorite chicken over rice places. I've tried many chicken over rice places and this one has the best blend of them all. It's chicken is marinated in a perfectly balanced Tandoori spice. The rice is perfect. The white sauce is not too creamy AKA not too much Mayo, has a vinegar touch to it. And the salad is a great variety of whatever you want, not just plain lettuce and tomato. But keep in mind, they're known for their chicken over rice, not typically for their lamb chops - - which end up on the drier side. The food at this place is great, its actually my favorite chicken and rice spot! The meat is not minced, more like cubed with great flavor. The rice seems to be jasmine rice and its equally tasty! The vegetables are all fresh and pickled, they have such a large selection, its great! The price is cheap, the service is attentive and you can be in and out in a few minutes. Doesn't even compare to the Halal Guys (in a good way, the halal guys aren't as good anymore and their quality of food has decreased tremendously). I always order a combo on pita bread, with lettuce, black olives, tomatoes, white sauce, & hot sauce. Theres always a huge amount of meat inside so one serving just does enough to fill you up. I know that paying 6$ for a very generous amount of Gyro with rice and chicken/lamb is a great deal. But I rather pay double, and have some more attention to what I order. I went there last night, and asked for Gyro with rice and salad, and the guy at the counter started outing thing inside the box like he is pouring soup , and the result was one big mix of rice salad, meat, olives, and white gravy. Came here at 12:30am on a Saturday. There was one person already ordering and about 3 people behind the counter. They quickly took our order and gave us pickings from a (heavily onion based) line of salad toppings. lettuce, hot peppers, raw onions, cilantro tomato onion mix, tomatoes etc. I ordered the chicken and lamb combo over rice and my bf ordered the lamb over rice. The total was $13 and it was delicious! They have white sauce, hot sauce, green sauce, and a sweet and spicy sauce to choose from and they are very generous with them. I've been to this place at least twice. Each time, the service is excellent and extremely speedy for takeout. I typically order the lamb and chicken with rice and a mix of veggies.
