This has been my top choice for good priced halal steak and ribs. Their prices are just not unbelievable but the food is amazingggggg. Its made with absolute attention and craft! Love most of their stuff on menu but their hawain ribs and sirloin steak is mind blowing. Their mocktails are good too-Love their pinacolada! You can easily find table even on busy days-Service is excellent too. Worth making the trip to Coney Island.

Affys Premium Grill has fantastic food and I can see why they have successfully opened another location. Couple of tips- definitely make reservations, especially if it's on a Friday- Sunday. My parents and I came on a Friday and waited roughly 45 minutes- 1 hour for a table so again, make reservations! The food here, again, is delicious and comes in gigantic portions as well. My dad got the chicken stuffed with feta and spinach, my mom got the classic NY strip steak, and I got the filet mignon au poivre. Everything was great and the portions/prices were right especially considering this place is halal. For instance, the chicken was easily big enough for 2 people and was only $22. My only problem that I knocked off a star for is the service. One is that it is super spotty and you basically have to beg for someone to come to you. Two is I don't know if all the waitstaff isn't on the same page about what's on the menu but I was told that the ribs were done for the night when I wanted to order it and subsequently saw people who came after me order it with no problem...just odd. Either way, the food is solid so I'll be back but the service could use some work.

Been coming here for years and food has alway been good. Service is on and off. Was here few days on a cold and it was freezing! Experience is always on and off but food has been good so that's what keeps me coming.

Heard about this place for a while now, been wanting to try it out. Came here with co-workers on a Tuesday evening 5pm, place was empty and we had a party of 10. With one waitress on staff and one person behind the counter, service was a little slow. I had to get up and go to the counter to ask for items because she barely came to check on us. Food was ok, mediocre at best. I thought it would be way better quality than what we were served. Probably wont be back.

It's a nice, family friendly restaurant. It's dark lit and can get loud. This place gets really busy but the staff is on top of it. We can with a party of 7 for dinner and the service of impeccable. Our favorites were the the loaded burger, chicken wings, and the short ribs. Combo fajita was okay. A bit dry, wish it came some sauces or salsa. The one thing we all did not like was the stuffed jalapeño poppers. They are huge fried in thick flour/bread crumbs. Very hard to bite into and do not taste good at all. I would avoid ordering that again. Garlic bread is okay, it's soft bras with mozzarella cheese and comes with salsa. All portions are huge, two people can share easily share a burger or a pasta entree.

Affys is a halal steakhouse that is always our go-to for for a juicy burger and mango milkshake. Their service is always quick no matter how busy it gets. Food is delicious and definitely worth a try! Location: 1909 Coney Island Ave Brooklyn, New York Ambiance: 8/10, Restaurant is very clean & nice. Call before to find out wait time because it can get quite busy on Friday nights and weekends. Price is 8/10, everything is fairly priced as their portion sides are fairly big. Menu/food is 7/10 as they have steaks, burgers, pastas, calamari, ribs, etc. Most meals come with a side of your choice of fries, salad, or mashed potatoes. So we were invited there to try their delicious steak. We already heard many times about the place that their food amazing and when we go there we found it is so true... we tried their pepper corn steak with baked potato and sautéed vegetables and other have salads and all the food was up to the mark. The ambiance and service was also 10/10. Must try I recommend this place

Food quality and taste like 8-9/10 above expectation for halal steak we order medium was tender and pink inside my kids finish it all. The mash potatoes and steam vegetables could be better. The spinach dip taste amazing but presentation was not good would be better in nicer oval deep plate. The white rice as side dish was really good flavor is amazing. Lamb chops full of flavor well cocked. Burger is juicy and very tasty you can taste the quality. We order also pina colada and strawberry drink were very good and recommended. Service good and environment friendly and relaxing.

This place was yummy and the portion sizes are big so make sure to come with an appetite ! We got the bbq beef ribs, they were pretty good and so tender practically falling off the bone! We also had the lamb chops which were a little over cooked (we asked for medium) but omg it was seasoned sooo wonderfully we didn't even care that it was hard to rip into. They were absolutely delicious. I would go back just for the lamb chops!

First time going here and the food was really tasty! Also to add the service was very quick and easy everyone was so pleasant to talk to! The ambiance is beautiful and gives a fancy vibe with black seating and neon uplighting! Definitely a great spot for fancy or just casual as well :) and do not leave without having their pina coladas - so smooth and delish!

I went out for a dinner and I had 12 guests. i had to wait for a table about 20/25 minutes. There was a small wait for 12 different dishes but worth it! The food was pretty amazing, very delicious and came out hot! Parking was a big issue around the restaurant. The place was clean.

Friendly waitress greeted us and sat us immediately. Menu's came out and they recommended a pizza and burger. We agreed and ordered. It was worth it. Think, juicy and with an amazingly unique taste. The ingredients were high quality, the burger cooked to perfection. The table also split the modern pizza (I think). Both restaurants have been in business for well over half a century with well-deserved accolades. Despite having grown up in Brooklyn, I hadn't been to either before this year. I read reviews and actually asked ChatGPT what to order at R-N-R. We went with its suggestion: medium roast beef with cheese, onion rings, root beer and lemonade. My sandwich was more well-done than requested. They don't offer 'rare'. The few bites with red meat were infinitely better than the rest of the sandwich. The roll, as everyone points out, is baked in house. Though light and puffy, it didn't outweigh overdone beef. Onion rings were great, root beer average, and lemonade -- per my husband who loves lemonade -- excellent. While I wouldn't balk about returning, my vote goes to Brennan and Carr, though truly, when cooked as requested there is no substantial difference. If you take the train, get off at Sheepshead Bay Road and head south. Turn left at Emmons Avenue and keep walking. Twenty minutes all told.

I ordered: * Truffle Maker ($11.59) * Truffle Parmesan Fries ($6.50) * Chicken Bites with BBQ sauce ($8.05) * Large Yuzu Honey Lemonade ($4.00) Truffle maker was pretty good and I was glad I was able to remove the caramelized onions and truffle aioli (I'm picky). The bun is soft and sweet and the burger has a good amount of sautéed mushrooms. Truffle Parmesan fries were pretty standard, but still very good. Yuzu honey lemonade has bits of citrus at the bottom of the drink and it was refreshing. I saved the chicken bites hours later and it was still pretty crispy after being microwave. Texture was reminiscent of Taiwanese popcorn chicken, nicely seasoned. Overall had a pleasant experience, I definitely want to return and try the rest of their menu.

We both went with rare roast beef, cheese and onions. T asked for his double-dipped in gravy. Yum! Short of five stars, but yum nonetheless. We ordered two unhealthy sides which added to the decadence of our lunch: corn fritters and onion rings. If you only get one, go with the fritters. The place is busy. I already knew I wanted the double cheeseburger with bacon and egg, so it didn't take me long to place my order. I definitely enjoyed sitting at the bar because the restaurant has an open-kitchen concept. You can watch the chefs prepare the food, which is always enjoyable for me. The burger itself was definitely an experience! It was beautifully presented, and everything was cooked to perfection. Honorable mention goes to the pepper on the thick-cut bacon- it added a nice savory kick to the burger. I had really been looking forward to trying it because I recently passed by Au Cheval in Chicago, but the wait was extremely long, so I didn't get the chance to go. This burger was definitely good. It's not at the top of my list, but it was worth the experience. I must say, it's also extremely high-end price-wise. For just the burger with bacon and egg, plus tax and tip, I paid about $47. Again, it was a treat, but not necessarily one I'd order again. I'd love to try some of the city's other standout burgers before returning for this one. Would I recommend it? Absolutely!
