Disappointing. Although the serving of meat is generous in the pita, the quality of the "pita" (soggy, spongy) and the gyro meat (spicy and way too salty-?not great texture) are a let down. Also the soft overfilled "pita" can't be eaten as a hand held food- the whole idea of gyros., but instead has to be approached like a salad. Like so-called "bagels" sold in groceries, soft spongy "pita" is so far from the authentic taste and texture of Middle-eastern pita bread (which is made made from a higher gluten flour and rises to form a pocket) that one can only wonder whether the owner has ever eaten an authentic gyro. read more

I got the chicken shawarma wrap, which was simple goodness--a pita toasted to perfection, thick slabs of hummus and garlic spread, well-marinated chicken, topped off with refreshing crisp lettuce, cucumbers, tomatoes, and a sprinkle of feta crumbles. They did not skimp on the portion size, and it was sufficient for a meal. The price is a tad bit more than what I had expected for a fast-casual place. I initially wanted a plate but it's over $15. I get the gyro salad almost always jaja it's my go to and it's delicious and I have soooooo much food and it's not just lettuce. They make sure my salad is filled with all the good gyro stuff. My husband and I were hungry driving home from Seatac on Sunday night and Gyro Stop was the closest thing to us that wasn't fast food. Holy wow, this was an unexpected win. The beef & lamb gyros are completely packed, the veggies- even the lettuce (at the end of the day no less!) were super fresh, it was thoroughly dressed without anything feeling like overkill. The garlic fries were generously flavored and perfectly cooked (gold and crispy!). I loved the falafel side- they were smaller than I thought, but that was my own brain's fault. My only note is when they ask "only one Greek fry?" don't second guess the serving size and order two- one is *definitely* enough haha. I've tried gyro stop twice now to no avail. My second experience was worse than my first. A fussy woman working refused to sell me pita and tzatziki telling me they only sell pita with hummus, huh?? Great for a Mediterranean fast food place. Definitely add the Greek fries to your order. I tend to prefer chicken gyros at these places, as the lamb and beef are usually a pre-seasoned pressed meat blend, and I haven't been bold enough to find out otherwise. I Ordered a beef and lamb gyro with a side of the gyro style French fries (topped with garlic sauce and feta.) omg. The fries were divine. I honestly would've been ok with the fries and half the gyro. My hubby ordered the lamb and beef plate. This seams like the way to go! He got way more meat than I did, rice, hummus, the same salad that was on my gyro, and a pita on top of it all. It was sooooo much food and only a few dollars more than the gyro.
