This place has been around since 77. First time here and I'm so happy that I gave it a try. They definitely don't skimp on the toppings. I loved the Pesto Pizza while my husband enjoyed the Meat Lovers with black olives and onions. Our son had the Beef Ravioli. I had to sneak over to try a bite and it was really good. Lived near this place for 2+ years and barely got to trying it out. It was on my yelp notifications so I scrolled over the menu and seen pastrami and fried zucchini, that was enough for me to check it out. The place was nice and clean and the people were very friendly. The pastrami sandwich was really good and so was the fried zucchini. My wife ordered her favorite shrimp Alfredo which she didn't care for, my only gripe was that I wanted the fried zucchini to eat with my sandwich but it didn't get brought out till I was halfway through my sandwich. The place dosent look like much from the outside, along with the interior. Appears to be just a regular old restaurant. Well, we were in for a surprise. A Freind of mine recommended it to me for the pizza(he has lived in the area his whole life) we ordered nacho appetizer. Got a pizza to go right around closing time. The pizza had plenty of cheese and other ingredients. The crust could have been crispier and the sauce was a bit sweet. Not bad but not super great either. It definitely has more cheese to crust that the little pizza place a block away. But if you want the limited ingredients of a warehouse store a few blocks away I'd go there first. On the other had they are a full service restaurant that has a lot more to offer. But I can't comment on any of that because all I had was the pizza. The service was prompt and friendly. The 12 inch pizza in the picture was $26. Enough to feed 2 people. So, decisions were made... 1. Large pizza even though there was only two of us. 2. Extra cheese and extra pepperoni, because well... yeah. 3. Random pizza place with an old school vibe. I am so glad we did! The pizza was delicious, crispy crust on the bottom, a little soft on top, good pepperoni, and probably more cheese than anyone should eat in a day, well except for me, of course. But more importantly, let's discuss the sauce. The sauce is tangy, sweet, and full of tomato flavor. It really was a win, and the reason why we will go back again and again. I've been going here for years many many years. I love there pizza and there pizza sauce it's the best I've ever eaten. The staff is friendly and helpful. Nick now runs the place after his parents retired and he does a great job. Crust is one of the best pizza crusts I've had. Salads are simple but good but the dressings changed and I hate a sweet Italian dressing. Also took bud light off the taps and now carries coors in the bottle, it's not a beer I like but it's okay with lime in it so I will drink it. Pastas are good too my hubby likes the fettuccine greco gets it most of the time we go in. The lasagna is good too it's done with smaller noodles little different then most but it's really good. read more

Great staff, good/decent pizza. Definitely not bad pizza... If that even exists. It's just one of those heavy cheese on top pizzas, so when it cools just a little and you take a bite, you end up pulling all the cheese and toppings off of the rest of the slice. Good local spot tho. read more

Old school pizzeria. This is some old school pizza at its finest. Regular crust on perfectly crisp dough, expertly blistered in the oven. A decadent amount of thick, deeply red, and tangy sauce, perfect texture of thick lush and stick to the slice. Extra cheese and extra pepperoni made this za one for the lists. The service was fast and efficient. The building is pretty non-descript, as is the dining area to be honest, the only reason I saw the dining area was to tell you what it looked like. My first try here. It's tucked away in a strip mall in Smokey Point. They've been cranking out pies since 1977 and the building inside and out looks like it. I decided to order a couple pies. I got a salami mushroom olive and a pepperoni sausage mushroom. Here's what I didn't expect,,, cheese smothering the toppings so much I couldn't see them. I like to have the cheese in the background and the toppings forward but it's still a decent pie. The crust is good and they say it's made daily. The red sauce is a tad on the sweet side for me but tolerable. They have pasta dishes and Grinders on the menu. Next time I'll try one of those. I just did carry out but there is table service. Be prepared for a 3% fee for using a card. For me that replaced their tip. I'm not a fan of being charged to spend my money. Give it a try. read more

We were told about this place 6 years ago when we first moved to Arlington. Since we are closer to old Arlington we just never made it. But after service, quality has gone downhill on our more local pizza options we decided to get a couple of pizzas to go. Hubby called in a Hawaiian for himself and a Canadian bacon, black olive and mushroom for me. He left right after calling it in. It was just coming out when he arrived. He put them in our Costco cooler bag and headed home. Once we unbagged, not only were we pleased with the way they looked, they smelled wonderful and were still piping hot. Very happy with their crust to topping ratio, decent amount of each topping, good sauce, crust was good as well, and a very generous amount of cheese. Lunch meat Chicken pizza! Stopped in this afternoon after hearing about this place forever. We ordered a chicken Alfredo pizza. We get home and I take one bite only to discover that the chicken used is lunch meat, WTF. I could not believe what I was seeing. The description of the pizza on the menu says, sautéed chicken breast. Nowhere does it say chicken breast lunch meat like from Costco. The best pizza I've had in a long long time and perhaps as good as any I've had. This is greek style pizza and is extremely good. I ordered a medium (12 inch, they come in 10, 12, and 15 inch sizes) with pepperoni, sausage, and extra cheese. The sauce is delicious and definitely has very interesting spices that are quite good. The toppings and cheese were top quality and delicious. They provide great service in a very old school (in a good way) pizza House kind of place. I highly recommend it.
