First timer! The gyros are fresh, flavorful, and packed with delicious ingredients. The portions are generous, the service was friendly, and everything tastes authentic. One of my spots for a quick and satisfying meal and refreshing watermelon juice !

Food was quick but very fresh. My friends had the Greek salad and my other friend had the lamb. I had the pea soup and it was amazing as good as the old Andersons. They have a great jalapeño greek garlic sauce called OMG which is amazing. The pita bread is very fresh too and the greek quesadillas were good too. The servers behind the counter are very pleasant and efficient. Great place for dine in or takeout.

Gyro wrap with lamb and spicy feta. Wrap was a good size with the toppings that didn't fall out. Helped to have tzatziki sauce on the side in case extra lamb and toppings fell out, along with utensils. Wrap was overall good in taste and texture. Fries were a good compliment too. Service was thorough and helpful. Ambiance was nice for a Tuesday afternoon. Restaurant had Halloween decorations do it isn't plain inside. Will come back again.

Gyromania is a pretty decent place to get Mediterranean food at. You get so much bang for your buck! We got two plates and it was so much food. I had a lot of leftovers. I specifically got the chicken and chicken skewers plate. Yes, you can mix two different meats together and they gave a lot! Both of the meats were pretty tender. The thing about the skewers is that it didn't look like skewers at all. They just look like bigger pieces of meat. The sauces were all good. I got the hummus and tzatziki, but you can get other sauces on the side if you want. The negatives is the rice. It kind of tasted like Mexican rice to me. It should've been made with basmati rice. Other than that, the dish overall was well worth it. Fresh tasting with lots of veggies on the side. The employees were also really nice. I would come back again for my next Mediterranean food fix.

Gyromania is located at the Seabridge shopping/dining center in Oxnard by Victoria and Wooley Rd. They also have locations in Stevenson Ranch and Santa Clarita too. It's a spacious restaurant with a Greek mural and there's lot of tables and seats. They have a simple menu of wraps, salads and plates. Absolutely huge portions here! We saw the server grab more meats with the tongs and load it up on my salad plate. You get to choose what you want to go in your salad like a Subway/Chipotle style of ordering. For $17, my lamb gyro salad was enough to share for 2 people! They also have soda and refreshing drinks here too but I stuck to ice water. There are return stations with trash bins and trays for plates available by the door after your meal is devoured. I needed a to-go container for my salad and don't forgot to grab the garlic white sauce and their spicy green sauce! :)

Not bad Greek joint. They are generous with portion. The only issue I had was the rice. It was regular medium grain rice. Authentic rice should be basmati rice used with saffron. The gyro meat had been sitting in the hot plate pan (buffet style) but overall, our experience was good. We're out-of-towners so it's not likely we'll be coming back even if the experience was memorable. I can only give this place 4 stars. The place was quaint that enhances the dining experience listening to the Greek music. Quality of food: A+ Quality of service: A+ Price: $$

Gyromania has the best Greek food!! The star of the show are the lamb chops and fries. The lamb is tender and flavorful, and the fries are so crispy and well seasoned. Plates also come with a side salad and pita making this a well rounded meal. Besides the lamb, my absolute favorite thing from this restaurant is the sauces!! Every single one of them is good and they are generous with them. I highly recommend the garlic sauce (I could drink this straight) and jalapeño sauce. Service is always friendly and the restaurant is clean with plenty of seating.

I had the chicken plate and it was delicious and great portion size. My bf had the beef plate and it was tasty as well but it was pretty dry. Service was not the best which was disappointing as our food server was a somewhat rude. Overall good experience trying Gyromania!

Been wanting to try this spot for a while now and finally made it today for lunch. So happy I stopped by because the food was delicious and the service was friendly. Located in the sea bridge shopping center this spot is easy to find and thankfully is located on the end so easier to find parking and get in and out. The building is well marked and upon walking inside, I was shocked to see this spot empty on a Friday at lunch. I hope people aren't sleeping on this spot because it's really good. Since it was empty I was able to go straight up to the counter and be helped right away. The gal who took my order was sweet and quick. She built my gyro plate in front of me and asked me to pick some different sides and toppings while she finished putting my to go box together. She was nice and patient explaining the options and very friendly. I told her for future reference what she recommended and she told me the gyro lamb pitas are on point and also their lemon chicken soup is her favorite. Those are both right up my alley so I'd come back to try her suggestions. The portion sizes here are beyond generous! Wasn't sure if it was just a slow day so they gave me a large portion but upon reading other reviews and talking to friends sounds like they give you a good amount of food for your money. A huge meat plate with rice, hummus, pita, and a salad + drink was $20. Pretty darn good given that easily this meal could be broken down into two plates to give you leftovers. The gyro meat here is very good and flavorful. I'm glad I got a plate so the flavors weren't lost being wrapped up in a thick pita. The rice was also tasty and had good flavor, a perfect pairing. Hummus was middle of the road - not the best I've had but definitely tasty. Pita was light and fluffy and I liked my little size bite of cucumber and olives she made me. Got a garlic sauce to go and the flavors all worked well together. Lastly I like that they have fresh juices, today the flavors were cucumber and watermelon. I went with watermelon, super fresh and a great option when you're not in the mood for a soda. This spot is perfect for a quick but filling lunch. The food was 5/5 delicious! Staff are nice, the restaurant is clean and spacious, and it's a good value. Will be back soon to try the gals next suggestions.

I decided to try this place out for the first time and was very pleasantly surprised. I ordered the gyro plate which goes for $17.99. For this price you get a huge portion of gyro meat, a pita, a choice of sauce and a choice of one side. The gyro meat was sliced thick and they gave me such a huge portion it was basically impossible to finish, so plan on bringing home leftovers. I had the salad as my side and it was also delicious. The place is neat and clean and colorful inside. It's counter service here, a sort of cafeteria style, so you will put your food on a tray and help yourself to any seat you wish. I will certainly be returning to try out other items on the menu here.

Pita is fluffy, but would've loved more time on the heating stone!

Bringing the steam table/ assembly line to the Gyro, no problem with this idea, and the flavors are good. Low key food court vibes inside but an easy choice to get a meal that's better than fast food for sure. I wouldn't drive out of my way to get here if I really wanted Greek food, but I can ride my bike here for lunch and ride home, good for the neighborhood. read more

Was lucky to get invited to the soft opening last night. My wife had the salmon and I had the lamb. Came with rice and a really nice pita bread and some good sauces. The food was great and the portions were very generous. We will be going back for sure. As we were leaving we heard they also open for breakfast, so will have to try that soon. read more

The line was out the door but the reviews got me in. I had to try all they offered and ordered 3 gyros. Lamb, which was delicious. Chicken, it was ok. Pork was delicious too. Had the fries on the side. One gyro can feed two... they are huge. Portions are huge. Next time I will order spicy sauce on all of them. I love the option of garlic sauce too. I must admit was not a big fan of the OMG sauce. read more

Great little Greek restaurant. You are greeted with an OPA, as you come through the doors. The food is very good, there is a nice variety of food choices and sides with baklava for dessert. The staff is friendly and they even have Saganaki (flaming cheese). I like Greek food and I am glad to this place in my hood. read more

food was a 3.5 but I upped it to 4.0 as the employees were very friendly and helpful. At 6pm on a tuesday the place was empty of customers. Ordering process did not take a phd as some yelpers have indicated and the staff worked well together and as mentioned were very helpful and accommodating. Prices were a little high for "fast food" but freshness was good, quality was decent but mixed and portions were large. The food certainly was one step above "fast food". The food: greek salad with lamb gyro meat add on--the lamb meat add on is a great value--a large portion of lamb(on the side if requested) for only a few bucks and good quality meat. We enjoyed the lemon dressing with it. The stuffed mushroom (feta and ?) that came with my dolmas plate was excellent. Pita bread was soft delicious as was the garlic sauce. The rice was ok but nothing special. Grape leaves were large but boring and not worth the $. The flaming cheese was not good--way too salty. maybe would have been better if we ate it there but I doubt the salt issue would have resolved with active flames. No lamb chops at oxnard location according to the staff. mixed bag but nice location, friendly staff and easy take out. read more

Our family loves Mediterranean cuisine and we are so glad this place came to Oxnard. The food is delicious, and we feel welcome each time we come in the door. A convenient location and offer all the dishes we enjoy when we crave this cuisine. We highly recommend this place. It can get busy at times, but the ordering process and speed of service is worth it. The interior is clean and the decor is very nice and bright too! read more

You don't want to miss out eating at Gyromania - it's so good! I love healthier options and this place has plenty of options. So glad this place has come to Oxnard. They serve real, authentic flavored Greek food at an affordable price. Another reason I like supporting Gyromania is because of the owner, Kyriakos Champi. Super kind owner who cares a lot about giving back to the community. He and his employees full embody a warm-welcoming restaurant as soon as you walk through the door. His story is great too... come to find out he moved to California from Cyprus, started out as a food truck, and now has a family owned place. (See this older pic of him). read more

This place was good! Walked in and was greeted immediately by the employees. The employees all were great and helpful. For food we got 2 plates, a salmon plate and a chicken and pork plate. Service is average. The food seems to be on the pricey side, but you get a lot of it! It was tasty. Highly recommend the garlic sauce if you're really into garlic. The falafels are good as well as the lemon soup. I wasn't a huge fan of the music. The watermelon juice is refreshing. read more

Well that was tasty. We were looking for a burrito after our walk around seabridge and happened to see this on the map. Very confused where it was so we walked til we found it. It's next to Buttercups where Ciao used to be. Same style as Ciao but with Greek food. They let us taste all the sauces and fountain drinks were complimentary (I recommend mixing the Watermelon and Cucumber waters). Spicy feta sauce was our favorite, it's a nice pepper flavor not really spicy. Definitely coming back to try the halloumi. read more

The food is absolutely amazing. Really good quality! The only thing I would complain about is all the plastic that they use! I hesitate to go there because of it, but sometimes I can't help myself because the food is so good. I would also recommend that they put less sugar in the watermelon juice that they have there. I was so excited to find out that somebody had fresh watermelon juice, but I think they had a lot of sugar to it? The service is always good and accommodating, friendly and attentive. So happy that this fine establishment is just a short drive from where my Greek wife and I live here in Oxnard. Our primary home is in Sherman Oaks, and I can tell you that there is nothing in the Valley or LA that comes close. The pork souvlaki gyro with French fries inside (the authentic way) is my favorite. The owner and his staff are also always warm and friendly. This place is on our regular rotation and I'm craving more gyro as I write this review! read more

I highly recommend not to come here. The food is actually subpar. I ordered double hummus paid extra when I got home there was double rice. Came all the way back, and they gave me a few things of hummus and didn't remake the food. read more

Have been looking forward to trying Gyromania and finally came in for Sunday dinner. Wow! I had the full salad with lamb and beef. Everything tasted amazing - and no stingy sauce servings! The staff were all friendly and welcoming. They make great recommendations for whatever you're in the mood for or if you want to try something new. Definitely coming back for more! read more

Saw this place last week, when I tried the fish spot a few doors down. I take it's a chain. This was my first time & probably my last. I got a chicken plate with rice. Chicken lacked flavor. Got the spicy feta sauce. There was nothing spicy about it. Complained and guy gave me their OMG jalapeño sauce. It had a bit of a kick. Garnish was red onion/chives. Place is a little pricey. Not worth the price to me. Gyromania won't get my money again read more

Food was ok. It's like a buffet line,lol. I tried to pay cash and was turned down, card only. I asked why no cash and they stated because of crime and robbery. So I ended up using my credit card for $20 of food. Anyway wanted try it and I'll keep taking my business to Stephens Market in Ventura. Great Greek food and oh yeah they accept cash, lol. read more

I ordered food for 50 and there must have been enough for 70. The food was absolutely delicious. Everyone enjoyed everything. The best part was the owner delivered everything piping hot. He set it up and explained how to serve it. He even brought plates, utensils, napkins and serving spoons. Well worth the $15 per person. AND the food was delicious!!!!! read more

We checked into our harbor hotel and ordered takeout from The Greek Mediterranean Steak and Seafood, which turned out to be an excellent life decision. First challenge: surviving the parking lot. I don't know who designed that little maze, but I emerged victorious eventually. Once inside, though, the place had a great energy. A dance floor, a DJ spinning genuinely good tunes, and massive windows overlooking the harbor like the restaurant knew exactly what kind of mood we needed. Service was fantastic. Our order was ready on time, and they also made me a dangerously good Negroni to go. Honestly, if someone hands you a well-crafted Negroni after a desert road trip, that's practically an act of community care. Back at the hotel, we spread everything out on our balcony overlooking the harbor while the sun set, and suddenly life felt very cinematic. We ordered the Sampler for Two, which included lamb chops, falafel, loukaniko sausages, spanakopita, dolmades with avgolemono sauce, tzatziki, hummus, hot pita wedges, and a Greek salad. Basically, a feast disguised as takeout. Everything was delicious. The lamb chops were flavorful, the falafel crisp, the spanakopita flaky and rich, and the whole spread felt generous and thoughtfully prepared. Portions were large enough that we saved the hummus and tzatziki for the next day, where they heroically returned as cocktail snacks. A true encore performance. This meal didn't just feed us, it restored us a little. Good food, great atmosphere, harbor sunset, Negroni in hand. Sometimes a travel day ends exactly the way it should.

I think I might've been too overwhelmed. Otherwise I might've just opted for the burger which I may still have to try next time. The sweet potato fries also look very good and I will have to try those next time for sure. There's a ton of parking spots right outside. An absolutely amazing experience all around! We are from out of town and headed to Gyromania after watching the sunset on the beach, and it was the perfect ending to our night. We ordered Gyro Wraps, Gyromania Fries, Dolmas, and flavored waters and they were all absolutely delicious. I think my personal favorite addition was the OMG sauce... SO GOOD!
