Decided to try them after their menu was left in our mailbox and it's a no for me unfortunately. Food portions do not match pricing Food was bland Chicken was rubbery Salad was warm because they put it in the same plate as the food, I don't like warm salad Salad came with no dressing Just...no However, I did like their dolma. Didn't take pics but we ordered the following: Chicken Shawarma Plate Shish Kabob Plate Chicken Shish and beef Lule kabob plate Dolma I'll stick my regulars ....
My husband and I were in town for a day and decided to look on yelp for somewhere to get a quick bite and we had to try this place due to the reviews. The ambiance walking in was immaculate- beginning with the music. We knew the owners were chill when we saw all the cool decor on the walls, including classic vinyl albums, vintage cameras and cassettes, and old school portraits of famous Hollywood actors. We were greeted by our beautiful server who was extremely kind and attentive. She let us know about their 10% cash discount as well which we appreciated. Okay so the food...absolute gas. The star of the show for us was the falafel. Some of the best I've ever had. Sadly I did not take a picture because we tore it up too soon! It was perfectly crispy on the outside with a soft, melt in your mouth texture on the inside and served with a red tangy and creamy sauce that paired perfectly with the flavor of the falafel. We also got the lentil soup (soooo flavorful) def a comfort food. And also what you see pictured below. 10/10 gem of a spot with genuinely good food and superior customer service. Even the chef came out to ask if we liked everything. Wish we lived closer. Hopefully we have business in Oxnard again so we can return very soon! Thank you to the lovely folks @ pacific grill for a great experience.

Location used to be Boar's Breath. Private parking lot. Just opened in January. Friendly staff. Was greeted when i first walked in. The place has plenty of seating, enough for a small group. A lot of wall decor. It was empty when I entered, but they made the food quickly. I had the falafel plate, which came with rice, hummus, pita bread, falafel and salad. Taste-wise, everything was good. The hummus's texture isn't super smooth as I'd like, but that's just my preference. The falafels were good, not dry! Slightly crispy on the outside & kind of a potato texture on the inside. Unfortunately, my salad had a dead bug in it, but it can happen, I guess? Also, don't know why the photo of the bug isn't popping up in the photos They have 2 sizes of hummus, so be careful on which you choose. An appetizer hummus is basically 1 lb. Their side hummus is small, like kid size. Snack size.
Another Sysco dinner Has much has the probably owner/waiter was nice, the frozen food was passable . My ($15)Gyro will have been much better if the Pita will have been toasted on the grid before serving. Has for the frozen 3 slice of lamb meat, I was hoping they had used the beautifull Shawarma machine they got in the store. The Kebob chicken and beef had no flavor. Blank food. The big fat fries with the Spicy Feta sauce is only good if you like vinegar ( I did, she didn't). Has for the Persian Hot tea, that's a fancy name for a bag of Earl Grey tea The decorative aspect of the place is very nice.
I love the feel of this place! I am a huge music lover and was so impressed by their awesome collection. Cool camera collection on display too!! The food is incredible! A little pricey but I think it was worth it! I believe I met the owners who I think are husband and wife. Very nice people! Will definitely be back!
Clean and nice spot to hang out and catch up with family and friends. Friendly service, quick, and delicious food. We came with a party of 9 and while we liked the food, it wasn't hot enough for our liking. Rice portion is small so if you come from a rice household (Filipino), we ordered an extra plate on top of hummus and pita, and 3 orders of fries. Their baklava is good, sweet and nutty. All in all, we spent over $150 (wasn't able to take a lot of photos since we kept ordering more food as we didn't order enough and take out for hubby who wasn't with us but wanted to try). His complaint was while the food was good, some pieces of his chicken kabob wasn't thoroughly cooked all the way with a little blood juice left in the middle. Score is based on food and not in any way for their service which was good.
Food: two of us ordered the green fries, chicken kabob wrap and gyro wrap. We could have just ordered the green fries and have plenty for both of us to eat The pita did the wrap had a good texture without being too thick. The meat in both of our wraps were cooked nice and there was plenty of veggies in the wrap. Service: we are immediately greeted and our orders taken. My water was refilled at least twice. Customers go to the cash register to pay. I will come back.
Absolutely avoid at all cost! We were the only table on a Saturday, yet it took near an hour to get attended to because the server was too preoccupied with polishing his spoons. Yet our silverware delivered had finger smudges. The bland food left a lot to be desired. A non indulgent chicken and waffle plate and two draft twisted teas came out at a whopping $75 - and though we always tip, my tip in response is to not waste your time or money when the city of Oxnard offers an incredible feast of foods with following prices.
Placed a takeout order and picked it up. Worse chicken kabob I've ever had and my dish had 3 small pieces that lacked in flavor. Only plus was the lettuce in the Ceasar salad was fresh. Croutons were mini and hardly there. Lady in front gave me a hard time picking up order. Name? Dianne ? Can i see your order. Pulled it up on my Yelp grub hub and said i don't see your name i told her i don't know what to tell you it doesn't have a name on the screen but u can see my order is here on the screen ready for pick up. I said my name is Dianne, she said this is for the security of your foods I'm like ok what do u want me to do my name is Dianne can i please have my food? Horrible experience and would not recommend this place. Skip it worse Mediterranean food ever place is decorated nice but horrible taste and experience! Also note this is a rip off prices don't match the quality of food !
Don't judge smaller sized restaurants by what you first see from the outside. This is actually a tasty place to visit. I've walked by Pacific Grill many times and finally my wife and I went in yesterday 8/28 and were pleasantly surprised. The decor is somewhat Hollywood man-cave like, but the reason we're there is for the food. We both had kabob/skewer combos and the flavor was great from the chicken, steak and kabob meat. The rice was flavorful and the sauces including garlic were nice. Food presentation was nice. Prices were reasonable and we agreed to come back to try other dishes.
Oh the flavors! This one of my new favorite lunch spots when I'm in the area. Best babaghanoush I've had a long time. And great service. Love all the interesting decor to look at, too.
Wonderful dining experience. Beautifully presented foods and delicious. I'll try the salmon next. Filet Mignon kabob was so tender, saffron rice yum, and salad crispy. "Ali" gave us a warm welcome providing great service. The restaurant itself is so quaint & interesting. "Vinyl" - really old "records" & "cassettes" fill two walls. The "retro" music is so nostalgic for any of us "Boomers". Super interesting tiny shadow boxes decorate the 3rd. I'll definitely be back & bring a group!
I had been craving some delicious hummus and pita and I knew pacific grill was the place to visit. I walked into a completely empty and quiet restaurant. The hummus was flavorful and the pita was served warm. The portions are plentiful definitely enough to share. read more
Who knew that this was a Mediterranean Restaurant. What a unique find with nostalgic ambiance -a wall 12in records, LIFE magazines , pictures and cassettes with great music. Staff is extremely nice and accommodating. Food is amazing, fresh and tasty. I highly recommend this place but if you are short on time, go next door. read more

Love the food here! Finally tried it and wow! Mediterranean Peruvian food sooo good! I ended up getting the Pacific tray which is a variety plate that feeds 2-3 and has both grilled chicken & grilled filet mignon and their chicken Lule, and beef Lule (both are a ground seasoned meat charbroiled) ALL WERE AMAZING!! The salad that comes with it is so fresh and tasty! They have the best rice and I'm not kidding their tziki and hummus are the best I've had anywhere! I've tried so many Greek/Mediterranean restaurants and this place is the real deal! Highly recommend! read more

This was SO yummy. Both types of meat were cooked perfectly. The rice was incredible! I added some grilled tomatoes & got tzatziki on the side. The staff is super friendly & the restaurant had an overall really cool ambience. I loved checking out all the posters and records amongst the other decorations. I definitely recommend! read more

Unfortunately we had a bad experience. This was our first time ordering, so we opted for the family tray with extra beef and chicken lule kabobs and an order of lamb chops. Everything arrived way overcooked and tough. The sides of hummus and baba ghanoush were flavorless. We were hoping for a better experience considering we spent almost $200 including extended delivery fees and tip on DoorDash. read more

Excellent food here. Got a Lule (ground meat kabobs, one beef, one chicken) plate. The beef lule was good, but the chicken Lule was excellent, as is the chicken shawarma. Did I mention ice cold draft beer? See the enclose picture of the beer mug...LOL read more

My husband and I really enjoyed the food as we order the family tray in which was perfect for 3 people and a baby . The service was outstanding. Ambiance was chill and relaxed. Ask for the garlic sauce it's yum . We will be back to try other dishes. read more

We were greeted with friendly and caring service upon arrival. The dining area has interesting decorations which caught our attention immediately. The retro vibe is amazing. Also, the food was amazing. I didn't get a picture of our main entrees because we were too excited to eat, but the lentil soup really hit the spot. It had a slight spice to it. We got the chicken shawarma plates which satisfied our cravings. We look forward to returning! read more

Great new restaurant. Lule kabob combo was very traditional and delicious. We have needed this type of food in our area for a long time. The shawarma combo did not disappoint and the sauce over the chicken was great. I don't think I've tasted something quite like it before. The baklava was perfectly flaky and delicious. The chocolate cake was sweet with just the right amount of cake. I warmed it up a few seconds and added the side of chocolate drizzle over the top. The service was great and welcoming. They are doing well on the atmosphere design going in. Looks to have a good selection of on tap bear and a solid start of wine selection which I will partake next time I'm back. I for one welcome them to the area and will be returning again soon with more family and friends. read more

First time here, I don't think their is another Mediterranean restaurant in the 805 besides a chain restaurant located in the collections. Let me just start by saying the food is delicious and the beer is ice cold beer. You can taste the freshness and the quality of the food. I'll definitely be back. read more

Came in here on a whim from my handyman gig in Channel Islands harbor. I love any Middle Eastern or Mediterranean food so i figured it would at least beat Carls Jr across the parking lot. The lady who helped me was incredibly nice, patient, and helpful. Food was outstanding and the atmosphere had a great old-timey vibe to it. Really cool vintage decor. Average prices but WELL worth it. I will definitely be returning any time I'm craving that cuisine. read more

Old salad small portioned high priced meal .. I got the Chicken lovers family meal and only sufficed to feed me and my wife @$100.. Still had to order pizza for the kids... For that price could of gone to PKG and had a real Mediterranean Meal .. I would put no stars but that option isn't available read more

Serendipitous lunch here after taking a random drive up the coast. Wife had grilled beef and ground beef kabobs and shared a bit. They were both delicious. I had the chicken kabob and lamb chops...and I didn't share at all. Sorry, not sorry. The food is delicious. Definitely order more pita. The meal only comes with a small piece. The salad was generous. I would have liked to have a whole pita instead of the full serving of salad on the plate. The place is clean. People are nice. Feels like the restaurant is new, and trying to settle in. Decor is kitchsy, like a mom-and-pop Americana diner. I would definitely eat here again if we're in the neighborhood. read more
