When I asked why, the clerk told me they had just changed the price and that the cook probably didn't know. What disappointed me even more was the clerk's attitude. I never craved Mediterranean food until I went to The Green Olive. They put me on! I also never asked for lamb before! But I've become a fan since coming here. The lamb chops are succulent, the hummus is INCREDIBLE and there's just a burst of flavors in their dishes. If you want to take your food to go then order inside. Food tastes amazing, but I was disgusted when I saw a man touching dirty rag , and handled money , and he grabbed meat with bare hands and put it in to go container for someone's order. It's disgusting he didn't use gloves or bother to wash hands bc they were busy. If this happened infront of customers what happens behind in the back. Also the Hispanic men in the kitchen which is next to customers waiting were speaking obscenely, while I was with my young children. Mannnn, first visit went in and ordered a chicken and beef cobob plate. Ordered the red meet MEDIUM RARE. Meat was past well done. After working allllll day, I honestly didn't have the strength to go back. Called, they said come back we will fix it. Second visit, ordered the same thing. First time, thought it was a language barrier, however, the SECOND time I ordered with a ENGLISH speaker and they stilllllllll messed up my order! Uhhhhhh, this whole situation is just frustrating. The server was very friendly, and the overall service was excellent. However, there was an issue with the timing--people who arrived 10 minutes after me and ordered later were served their food before mine. My dish, which I ordered first, arrived more than 10 minutes after everyone else had been served. Despite the delay, the food was still delicious. I have been coming to this place FOR 10+ YEARS. And tonight was the last time I'll set foot there or spend another $. I really wanted to give this place another shot after a bad experience a month or 2 ago, but unfortunately, it just got worse. The middle aged female employee who works the Bar was incredibly rude to me and my toddler--so much so that I felt the need to call and file a complaint. Which obviously wasn't considered at all and used against me? I stayed away for a while, hoping that maybe it was a one-time thing or that management would handle it. WRONG. I came back recently and was shocked when that same employee came up to me and confronted ?? me about my complaint about MY NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE. No apology, no professionalism--just straight-up rude, bitter and immature. The lady must be unhappy cus there's no way you're b*tching a month or 2 later about the truth that was spoken about how rude she was and still is. Anyway uncalled for and extremely uncomfortable to experience. I walked out as she was moving her gab and rolling her eyes telling me that SHE gets to REFUSE TO SERVICE ME AND MY 3YR old just because she was still bitter that i called about how uncomfortable she made me at my last visit with her lack of customer service and people skills. I really wanted to love this place as there aren't many others like it nearby, but they just fell short. I ordered a shrimp skewer plate but asked if they could do one skewer of shrimp and one of filet mignon, instead of the 2 shrimp skewers. Since the filet mignon and shrimp plate are the same price, they were nice enough to accommodate me. The filet mignon was very tasty, but there were only 4 bite sized pieces on the skewer. Similarly, the shrimp skewer had 4 shrimp - they were smaller than I expected and a bit overcooked. The garlic sauce it came with was tasty. The rice pilaf it came on was decent, the hummus was very good and the little side salad was ok but didn't have much to it. I was disappointed though that they forgot to give me the pita bread which was included with the meal. I also got a cheese fattaya which was very doughy - I put it in the air fryer for a few minutes when I got home and that made it much better. I may come here again to order a couple skewers a la carte, but the plates just felt overpriced for the amount of protein that was on the skewers. read more

Shish, Falafel, chicken, Gyro style meats, eggplant dishes, fresh salads are all excellent. Super easy parking behind the store. The look may be a little different with a little more flash added to the menu by using flat screen TVs to display the menu!
