We got loaded Philly cheese fries, truffle flat burger, a side of rice, and the gyros quesadilla. Please the pictures attached - what's advertised versus what we got. What happened here?! Somehow my side of rice ended up on this plate? But also? Where did the cheese go? The jalapenos? I did try saying "bippity boppity boo" to the ketchup packets hoping they would turn into cheese, but alas - still ketchup despite my absolute best efforts. Also I'm sorry, but the rice y'all. What was advertised looked like some kind of rice pilaf with vegetables - what we got was some red rice? And some sweet sauce? What's happening here too? Truffle flat burger was also bit confusing. Seems like the truffle part was either really shy, or non existent. I'm leaning towards the latter. And finally, the gyros quesadilla was maybe the CLOSEST to what was advertised, but still not worth the price at all. Had a serious gyro craving at lunch, so I gave this drive-through spot a shot, and I don't have regrets! The pita was soft and fresh, the gyro packed with flavor, and the fries were well seasoned. Next time, I'll definitely ask for extra tzatziki to take it up a notch. It's not a dine-in place...you just pull up, place your order, and swing around the other side of the building to grab your food. For dessert try their baklava! You can even have it with ice cream. I hate to give rating this low, but this can't be helped. I search high and low for Philly cheesteaks, or cheesesteaks in general and rarely come up with a good one, much less a great one. But this Philly was a new low in the state of Oklahoma. Ok to be fair, maybe not the worst I've had in Oklahoma but this was not a good meal. I ordered the New York Philly and fries, no drink. I will say the service was great and the sandwich was hot and fresh and didn't take much time on a super busy Xmas shopping Saturday, right at noon. So that's one star. The second star was the fries, which were really good. But this Philly cheese steak, what a joke. It came on a glorified hot dog bun, which is one of my biggest complaints of most Philly cheesesteaks. The places that have figured out the taste, structure and importance of the bread are the places that make a good cheese steak. This ain't one of them. If I hadn't ate this immediately, my bread would basically have been pudding. Why you ask? Because it's flimsy crappy bread and then they smother the thing in some awful tex-mex ish white queso. Um, what? Never again. This sandwich was rather awful. And $18 with no drink?!! LAUGHABLE Two stars that basically have nothing to do with the sandwich. And let me be clear, this wasn't about the people or the service at the location. All of that was wonderful, as were the fries. The problem lies with whoever decided that THIS garbage is a good Philly. Just terrible choices for a place that doesn't really offer anything else. Except gyros. I got the portobello mushroom gyro (sans tomato and lettuce because gross), and the platter comes with hummus and tabouli. I ordered a gyro combo and...man, it was tasty. The pita was deliciously warm (and somewhat crispy), the meat was perfectly seasoned, and the sauce wasn't bland or watery. Your food is made fresh at Gyros Etc. I know because I waited like 15-20 minutes after ordering through the drive-thru. The owner takes his time making each meal and it's obvious. If you're in a rush, maybe consider going somewhere else. The one thing that sticks in my mind even more than the food is the pricing. Absolutely bonkers how expensive this food is. The overhead expenses for this location must be next to zero based on the size of the shack, the lack of indoor seating, and there only being one employee. And yet, I paid $12 for a regular gyro combo after tax. I didn't even get a fancy gyro, either...just a regular ol' gyro. That's way more than I'd pay at any other gyro place. Granted, I wouldn't get as good of a gyro anywhere else but I still can't wrap my mind around paying that much for any lunch-sized combo at any restaurant. If the gyro was packed with meat and veggies, I'd maybe understand the pricing...but it wasn't. I'm struggling with the rating for Gyros Etc. The food is great but far too expensive. I'd highly recommend you try it out at least once. If you're okay with the pricing, you're going to love this food. As for me, I want to go back to Gyros Etc. asap. Absolutely horrible. We have wanted to try Gyros, Etc for three years since we live nearby, but they're never open. We finally saw cars in the drive through today and decided to give it a shot. First of all, there were absolutely no pandemic measures. No one wore masks, no one even washed their hands. I asked about masks and the teenager at the window literally had to go find one. The owner gave us our food on the other side and had no mask, no gloves, and forgot part of our order. Our food was $31 for two cabbage rolls (we were given a third for free because they forgot to put them in the bag), a Diet Pepsi (completely flat, just syrup), a Philly cheesesteak (no peppers or onions, just gyro meat and melted cheese), a gyro (basically no meat and empty on both ends) and four pieces of baklava. The meat was chewy and over cooked and honestly nearly nonexistent, the staff were unprofessional and didn't seem to care one way or the other about anything at all, and there are several incredible local places to get gyros in the area so honestly, I regret putting money into this business when it could have gone to support a local business that puts effort and passion into what they do. So, hungry and desperate I started eyeballing my other options when I saw this little shack in the middle of the parking lot. I looked it up on Yelp and much to my surprise it had some great reviews! This food shits on anything Greek you have ever had before. ESPECIALLY for a drive through eatery. The man that I'm assuming is the owner is friendly, handcrafted the baba ganoush ( and fed it to me from my car window) and it's amazing. Literally the best Gyro I have ever had in my life. If it wasn't called Gyro ETC, Gyro-IN-A-Box would be a close second. This is a week little gyro stand with yummy food. It's a little on the pricey side for a gyro and fries but they pack it with meat and does not skimp on authenticity.
