Since starting a nutritarian diet (due to wheat, gluten, soy, yeast, dairy, cashew and rice allergies), I've made it a mission to find good meatless options without soy. It seems like it should be a simple task but it is not. I have recently discovered falafel and while out postmating, decided to try this place. It really is located in a terrible part of town. There were so many homeless that passed by me while I was trying to figure out what to order, it was crazy. It's almost on the outskirts of main stream film row. The building looks like it has seen it's better days and since they were close to closing, I used the drive-through. I got the falafel and hummus plate. I also got a falafel sandwich for tomorrow but I plan to eat without the wrap. I got some fries so I'm hoping they weren't fried and something I can't have. The fries were delicious and not seasoned at all. Plus they didn't seem greasy. I ate the hummus, salad and falafel. I thought it was pretty delicious and I see that falafel could be in my future is my meat alternative.

This place definitely has a lot of character - if you go inside to dine, you will notice the various portraits of Greece and a section where they sell an interesting assortment of old items like phones, books, keyboards, furniture, small personal devices, etc., with prices written on them. I believe this specific location has been an OKC mainstay for some time now - same applies to the antique Ken Boyer Bail Bonds car in front. I have also tried both the drive-thru (very convenient, and it seems as if every restaurant in OKC has a drive-thru) and in-person dining. Their standard gyro plate (you can choose rice or fries - I chose rice) was very good, especially with the accompanying yogurt sauce. Next time will definitely try some of their side dishes such as hummus or baklava. Definitely recommended!

This is obviously a family owned business. The staff were really nice and very friendly. When we got there, the door was locked so we thought they weren't open. They let us in quickly. Not sure why the doors were locked. We ordered at the counter and sat down. We got our food quickly and it was piping hot and there was huge portions which was awesome. My chicken was really moist and yummy. There was so much chicken I ate a lot by itself because I couldn't pick the pita up there was so much. My sauce was on the side in a small container. Because of the large amount of food, I would have liked more sauce. I could have walked up and got more I'm sure but I didn't. My husband liked his gyro but didn't love it. We both got tons rice and I wish we had some type of sauce for it. The rice was a little bland. I would go again to eat there because I like to help family stores.

A rainy Tuesday evening and I found myself at Sweis Greek Cafe I ordered a junior hero plate with french fries. The fries were crispy and tender.. Very well done examples of golden brown and delicious. The Gyro meat was mildly spiced with a moist texture and meaty taste that redeemed my faith in the concept of gyro meat. The pita bread was a warm soft bready bed for the meat The Tzaki sauce was a cool creamy and cucumbery, ever so slightly tangy accompaniment to the lamby meatloaf. The veggies were fresh and crisp. They made a high quality salad on its own. The Feta strewn across the veggies was a highlight of the plate. I was pleased with the taste and quality of the meal. I definitely recommend Sweis as among the best Greek food OKC has to offer.

One of OKC'S best and cheap lunch locations. Quality food at a "more than affordable" price. I never leave here hungry and frequent the joint regularly.

A New #1 Burger in OKC!…read more Our Burger Passport adventure brought us to Spark at Scissortail Park, and I think I may have found my new favorite burger in Oklahoma City! This was our first visit, and from the moment we took our first bite, I couldn't stop telling my wife how incredible these burgers were. I ordered the BLC Burger topped with pimento cheese, bacon, a crispy cheddar crust, pickles, and Prairie Ranch. Every bite was packed with flavor, and the crispy cheddar crust took it over the top. Outstanding! My wife, Lori, ordered the Spark Burger, swapping the American cheese for cheddar. She absolutely loved it, especially the fresh dill pickles that added the perfect crunch and flavor. The crinkle-cut fries deserve a shout-out, too. They were cooked just the way I like them--nice and crispy. I ordered the signature Pink Sauce on the side, and the garlic aioli was excellent. Before we left, I asked to speak with a manager--not because there was a problem, but because I wanted to compliment the team. Marisol was genuinely excited to hear how much we enjoyed our meal. She also told us about their limited-time Chicken Salad Sandwich, available through the end of the summer, and after this experience, I think we'll definitely be back to give it a try. Spark checks every box for me: outstanding burgers, perfectly cooked fries, a fun atmosphere, and a friendly, welcoming staff. If you're looking for one of the best burgers in Oklahoma City, put Spark on your list. This one earns an easy 5 stars from me.

Many unhoused people were hanging around the outside in the park areas, and I might have been wary of bringing a child but I was alone so not much of an issue. The burgers were good. The grease bomb kind of good where the unhealthy was a feature not a bug. They were sloppy, if I hadn't got them without the tomato it would have been a mess. I don't think the burger sauce they added was necessary and didn't really add to it. I think I'd get them plain next time and add my own ketchup and mustard. The one thing I really hated though was that they want your number to text you when the order was ready. Just call a number. It doesn't make your business better and I dislike them having my number.

I read about them on wikipedia... and apparently Oklahoma was the first one to create them. they were made during the great depression, were the owner would mash onion with the beef patty to stretch out the meat.... and back then, burgers were 5 cents. Fast forward to almost 100 years later, my burger was about 11 bucks. Don't get me wrong, the burger was decently sized, but it was just alright. I mean, if i wanted to get an onion burger i could simply go to in n out and get a burger with grilled onions and raw onion as well. so, while the burgers were good, it didn't wow me and maybe it was too hyped up and it didn't live to its hype, is the reason i only gave it 3 stars. The fries on the other hand were great. The parking lot right in front is really small, but there are plenty of seats inside and outside.

The employee who answered the phone was friendly and knowledgeable in informing me that they have two nut free bowl options which are the orange chicken and the sesame rice bowl. Since hubby also wanted a buffalo chicken sandwich, I asked the employee if this food item contained nuts and after confirming with another employee, she replied that the sandwich was also nut free and consists of their store made chicken tossed in buffalo sauce, cabbage, and vegan ranch. Following my phone call and after reviewing the restaurant's menu online, I ordered the down home bowl consisting of cashew mac and cheese, their store made TLB chicken tossed in BBQ sauce, grilled broccoli and topped with green onion while hubby got the orange chicken bowl as well as the buffalo chicken sandwich with fries. Upon arriving at the restaurant, hubby and I were warmly greeted by a restaurant employee and I was pleasantly surprised that once could order inside the restaurant in addition to the online pickup and delivery options. The inside of the restaurant has an upbeat atmosphere with happy, bouncy music playing as well as various signs of solidarity with. Inside the restaurant, visual signage show customers the difference in bowl sizes between their standard regular bowl and a larger loaded bowl. Although I was excited to be able to purchase a premade orange chicken wrap to eat for the next day while on the road trip home, unfortunately, hubby was saddened to learn that their gravy for their mashed potatoes contains walnuts. The food pickup process was efficient and I was happy to be able to purchase additional sauces, premade wrap to go, and drinks to accompany our meal. Overall, the food was cooked well, presented beautifully, and was very tasty as well as filling.
