If I could give less than zero stars, I would. I purchased my Jeep from this dealership a year ago, and the experience has been nothing but disappointing from start to finish. My vehicle had only six miles on it when I took it home, yet no one installed the required front license plate bracket--even though the state mandates a front plate. The salesperson was friendly enough, but mostly unnecessary since I already knew exactly what I wanted. Before filling my tank or giving the required full charge, he asked me to complete a review for him. I never received a full charge from them (I purchased a Jeep Wrangler 4xe)--not at purchase and not since. The biggest issues came from the finance department. I was given misleading information that increased my purchase price significantly. When I confronted him about the numbers, the price was quietly adjusted--but he took my tax break for himselves without informing me or asking for permission. That alone was beyond unacceptable. The only reason I've returned at all is because the purchase included a couple of free oil changes. I'm here today for a SCHEDULED oil change and was just told it will take an hour and fifteen minutes. Absolutely ridiculous. This dealership has been nothing but a headache. Between the dishonesty, the lack of communication, and the consistently poor service, I HIGHLY recommend that no one comes here. Piss poor customer service. Charging $199 for diagnostics when most places don't charge. Service department clearing under staffed. There shouldn't be a need to keep a vehicle over night when it's a O2 sensor. Then to be given a rap sheet on issue with my car. Had a second opinion and they were clearly WRONG! I purchased a 2020 Equinox on May 30. Wonderful sales and finance experience, however, the next day O noticed an unpleasant odor, kind of like moldy socks or shoes. I couldn't find any obvious problem, so I put an air refresher in to mask it Over the next 2 months, the smell became more pronounced as I noticed a foul odor emanating from the top vents when I ran the AC. I made an appt for service, showed up and was told to come back on Monday because it was since it was late in the day(2:30), the mechanics wanted to go home. I brought the vehicle on the following Monday, left it there all day. When I picked it up there was no charge, but I didn't get to speak with the service manager or the mechanic. GOD AWFUL!!! Dropped my vehicle off for an oil change and balance and rotation of my tires. They call me 4x each with a new issue, need new tires all around, need brakes and rotors, need a water pump. Had no issues calling me while I'm at work to tell me all this work my car needed done. I tell them to go ahead and make the repairs for the tires and brakes. Joseph, my service advisor all of a sudden just disappears in the wind. Can't reach him at all. He told me the car would be ready by the days end considering I dropped it off the night before for a 0730 appointment time the next morning. I've called several times and still no answer. Had no problem at all calling me to notify me the car needed over 3k worth of work done to it. NEVER AGAIN!!!!! Absolutely ridiculous. Highway Robbery at best. Had me fooled. Who knows when I'll get my vehicle back but I swear if I don't hear something back by first thing in the morning, I'm filing a stolen vehicle report with Omaha police department. DO NOT BUY ANY CAR FROM H&H. This is the third vehicle that I have had problems with. At this point the problem is with me that I keep buying from them. 1st suburban - never did the "certified used inspection". Missing all headphones for the rear entertainment system, the alignment was completely off at the first oil change. 2nd suburban (bought brand new) - After being asked to clean it before purchasing - never did. Carpet filthy and full of fuzz and string had to clean it ourselves. Then they didn't connect the battery fully when transferred from the train. Car didn't start in negative temperatures after 1 week of driving it. Got in an accident in which the suburban was fully totaled and not one air bag went off in the vehicle. 3rd suburban - bought brand new again!!! Spoiler leaking when it rains and drenched the entire backend. Got a new spoiler and they painted it the wrong color. Went to fix that and they didn't connect it right so the next time rain came the back was completely drenched again. This place is a complete JOKE. No quality control what-so-ever read more

I purchased a used 2024 vehicle with 434 miles on it from H+H Auto on October 11, 2024. My salesman was Steve Chairez Gamez. After test driving the car, Steve and I sat down and talked through the sale then he took me to Justin Harrington, Finance Manager. Justin talked me through paperwork and the financial side of things. He misrepresented the extended warranty and the cost to me. The car was also misrepresented to cost less than it actually did, calculating my down payment and the "match" they were giving me, making the car appear to cost $6000 less than it actually did. Steve offered to drive my old car back to Lincoln so I could get both cars home that day. I felt this was above and beyond customer service, then by the time I was done talking to Justin, this was no longer offered to me. I drove the new car home then had to get someone else to ride with me back to H+H so I could get the old car back, this is the beginning of the false promises I was made during my sale. I was pre approved with my bank for an interest rate of 5.49% and made that very clear to both Steve and Justin. The "best" interest rate Justin could provide me with was a 9.49%. We all know you never finance with the dealership, so I told both of these employees multiple times that I would be refinancing with the credit union I had the pre-approved rate with. They acknowledged this and agreed it was a great call. On top of that, the extended warranty added $5,000 onto the cost of the car instead of being a separate cost, meaning I paid tax on the extra $5,000 and when I refinanced the car, had to explain why I paid over $6,000 more than this car is actually worth. Trying to refinance became a nightmare due to the inconsistent costs listed on the bill of sale, and the run around I was given by this dealership. I called the dealership and the personal cell phone of Justin Harrington and could not get a call back unless I called from someone else's phone (they thought it was a new customer). When I bought the car, both Steve and Justin promised to give me the spare key for the car. They didn't send it home with me the day of the sale and promised to overnight it to me that day. A week later (October 18) when I still had not received the key and neither of them had answered my phone calls and voicemails left October 14, 16, and 18th (3 voicemails left on the 18th) I drove the hour drive back to the dealership and spoke with Justin again. He blamed everyone but himself for the lack of communication and said they would make me a new key, at NO COST to me, and mail it overnight that night. Justin stated that Steve had dropped the ball and he would have him get back on it. I knew leaving that day without the key in hand would be a risk of not receiving it but Justin was very confident this would be taken care of. Flash forward to November 8, I still have not received this key. Again, I call Justin and leave a voicemail with no response. November 21, I call and leave another voicemail for Justin. He actually returns this call (what a guy) and says that the key is missing and they ordered me a new key that he will PERSONALLY drive to Lincoln and place in my hand. I tell him to let me know when the key arrives. December 4, I receive an automated message that my key has arrived. I call multiple times on December 4, 5, 6 with no response back. December 6, I drive up to Omaha for the FOURTH time and get for the key. No one had any record of this key arriving or knew the whereabouts of it. At this time, I meet Kyle Quiggle, who is very apologetic for the behavior of his colleagues and then states that they actually know the whereabouts of the key that they "lost" and he could get it to me by mail by the 9th because the previous owner would bring it to the dealership. In addition, he tells me Steve has been fired because he made promises he could not keep and I was not the only person getting the run-around. (Justin was more involved at this point than Steve, but that's just my story) Again, I leave empty-handed. December 9, Kyle calls to let me know he has the key and he will overnight ship it to me. December 12, I call Kyle and follow-up as I have not received the key. He says the key has been shipped and I should get it sometime this week (not the definition of over-night shipping but what's a few more days after 2 months?) December 13, the package is actually shipped and it arrives to me December 19. I am grateful Kyle followed through on his word, but it should have NEVER been this difficult to get things done. This is a basically NEW car with less than 500 miles on it. I will never do business with this dealership again and I cannot stress enough to my friends and family to stay away from this dealership. read more

Unfortunately I need to edit this review. We bought a car from H and H about a year ago for our 15 year old daughter. I preface this by saying used cars can be a gamble, and our sold as is.... We had bought multiple cars from H and H over the years, and had always had a very good experience with the cars and more importantly the customer service. It was really the only big dealer we considered going to when we were ready to find our daughter's first car. We know large dealers have more of a mark up with used cars, but we assumed part of that was because they had more quality cars, and that gave us a little more peace of mind. We spent well over 11,000 dollars on this car, and it sat in our driveway for 6 months waiting for our daughter to turn 16. After that, we put roughly 5 to 6 thousand miles on the car. We had the oil changed after 3000 miles and our mechanic mentioned the oil was very very low which was strange. About a month later was the first time the car stopped running. We towed it to our mechanic who said oil was very very low again. He changed the oil AGAIN, and 3 weeks later the car died while my daughter was driving it about 10 ft over a set of railroad tracks. We had the car towed AGAIN to our mechanic who said the oil was bone dry and the engine was likely destroyed. He quoted us 8000 for a new engine with 100000 mile warranty or possibly a used one with a limited warranty for roughly 3000. We called H and H who said we would need to have the car towed to them so that they could do something. I thought THIS IS WHY we bought the car from H and H, and they will do something for us. Another 100 dollar tow and a week and a half later, H and H quotes us $13,100 out of pocket to put in a new engine for us. Seems quite a bit higher than our small town mechanics 8000 price. Again, we understood buying a used car is a gamble, but with the exception of Ronell in the service department, we were treated horribly. No apologies, not even a fake attempt to sympathize other than to say its a "used car". We get it now. When the service manager was asked how he would feel and what he would do in this situation, he stated he couldn't answer that question, because he worked there. Sometimes you get screwed over in life and it comes with a big price tag. Our daughter learned this lesson too as she helped save up part of the money to buy her first car. We in no way expected to get a free engine or a free car - maybe a good deal on another used car or the engine at cost, which by the way they said was $9,100 for them (our small town mechanic must be getting one hell of a deal on his new engines at $4500). That seemed to be the consensus from other small local used car lots, and what they have done when they've had problems like this come up. I have to reiterate again we understand that buying a used car is a gamble, but I think the part that sticks with us the most was just the way we were treated by the majority of the Sales and Service staff - absolutely no apologies or lets see what we can do for you, lets find you a deal on another used car. NOTHING. We got screwed over, we get it, but maybe try to do something, or anything or maybe just a little compassion? Again Ronell, thank you for being one of the only examples of that in this situation. To top it off, they even offered us about 30 percent less on the salvage than the mechanic we sold it to, who will fix the engine for $3000 and resell it. There's a reason people do and SHOULD dread buying used cars, and a reason the phrase "used car salesman" has such a negative connotation. I would suggest that if you don't want to find that out for yourself, you should steer clear of H and H Chevrolet. read more

I took my 2019 Silverado Trail Boss in to have them look at the Audio and figure out why it was not working. I worked with Josh Erspamer in the service dept. He advised that I could be charged for audio repairs unless I had an extended warranty. I found out that I had the Platinum Extended Warranty and it covered audio. I made an appointment and took it in. They said they fixed the issue with a simple update, and it was going to cost me $214. When I asked why I had to pay, Josh said that Audio is not covered after 3 years & 36K miles. It was like he forgot I had Platinum Warranty. So, I reminded him, and he said it's still not covered. I asked to speak to his manager and after arguing with me, he finally sent me to his voicemail. While waiting for the manager to return my call, I contacted my warranty company to ask why this was not covered. The gentlemen I spoke to said that its absolutely covered and that no one has called to file a claim for any Audio issues against my warranty. I called the manager at H&H again to inform him of this and eventually, he called back. I asked why Josh told me it wasn't covered, and I would have to pay. He said that their service reps deal with a lot of warranty companies and Josh assumed that my warranty company would not cover the charges and did not even call them to find out. Instead, he tried to charge me $214. Eventually, the manager was able to get it covered through my warranty and I came to pick up the truck. Guess what - the Audio still did not work. I had to take it back the next day for them to try again... Long story short, the service I received from Josh was poor & very unprofessional. He acted like he knew everything - a bit overconfident, which led to trying to charge me for something I should not have been charged. How many other people has he scammed like this? How many took his word for it and paid? Seems very illegal to me - almost like some kind of way to cheat customers out of money. I will never go back to H&H for any reason. read more

I just bought a used Chevy Equinox and, being a woman with no clue in cars are not a good combination. I had to bring my SUV to a Chevrolet Car service just to have a closer look of the car I bought! They checked everything for me specially the engine. I know I can trust them because they told me one fact about the car by looking at it. They didn't hesitate to help me check my SUV and explain the special characteristics of the Equinox so I have a better understanding of my Equinox! My experience has been a night mare. I left my 2018 Chevy truck with them on April 1st to get a bed liner, hand wash and detail and inspection done. It's just been one thing after another and now I'm fighting the dealership to have them fix the scratches they put on my truck. They are telling me I'm being to particular and they are suggesting the scratches came from me. Well that's wrong because my truck has been in the dealership %95 of this month. Every time I pick it up I find something new that needs fixed. It's just incredible how defensive and rude they have been as of today. Telling those scratches are minute. No, that's unacceptable. H&H tries to scam you with fake warranty coverage (which covers nothing) in order to raise the price of the vehicle so they can start at a higher negotiatation number in order to negotiate down from. They will argue that they gave you a great deal, but the original price was already inflated. They will also add in a down-payment in which u did not agree to, in order to make it look like they are giving you a discount. The ads are also misleading. Lastly the 2021 chevy silverado 1500 in which I bought 4 months ago windshield just Cracked in the cold No rock or Impact just cold. The so called insurance that they charge u 2000 to 3000 dollars for only covers repairs not replacement of cracks less than 6 inches. Terrible In addition to this the 2021 Silverado 1500 I bought from them is making noises. I had a 2005 Ford 150 for years and it sounds great, no pinging sounds at all. They offered certain deals online and then when you got to the dealership, they undercut your trade in value substantially and told me it was all figured in to the discounts they had already offered online. Extremely high sales pressure including, "We will make this deal as long as you don't go see the other car", "I am not sure you want to wait, other sales people are bugging me for the keys", etc. Then, on the day I was supposed to finalize, a different sales manager not wanting to honor the deal that was offered to me, offering me a complimentary window tint and then taking that off the table, etc. Don't even get me started on their $2500 they try and charge you for a brand new car prep!! STAY AWAY FROM HH My Jeep repair(s) experiences have been a NIGHTMARE since my purchase with HH. First time around, last year- warranty issues(I purchased my warranty at time of sale from HH) and no communication with the tech. I had to request the receipts and information in regards to what was fixed. Recently- I took my Jeep back into the new location on 144th & 370 the 22nd of November for transmission slipping and my gas cap actuator not working properly leaving me unable to get gas. I received no communication for first 3 days being left to call and check status. I was told there were no issues and that their tech "was driving my vehicle around to replicate issues" which didn't give me the warm and fuzzy. Few days later I had to call again and was told the same thing. Beginning of last week I had to call since no communication and not left with much. At that time I was told they did in fact order the actuator that I was told not an issue. Still no transmission issues being replicated but all of a sudden I have a power steering pump leak. I have rebuilt an 08 cherokee tranny and engine - I have not experienced any power steering issues with my 2015 cherokee which makes me question the level of knowledge and service. When I received no communications a week ago, I called wanting to pick my jeep up last Friday. The rep then told me that there were warranty issues and unable to do anything waiting on warranty dept. to approve. He also told me that my transmission was nonserviceable and they do not recommend me getting transmission maintenance done when sitting at 105k. Last time I checked- my jeep runs a 845re tranny and is in fact serviceable. I am now going on 2 wks without my jeep and have not been updated with any status. How this place continues to grow and buy out other dealerships is beyond me- TERRIBLE TERRIBLE SERVICE ALL AROUND I wouldn't even give them one star but can't post without one read more

I bought a Kia there, late in the new model year. Within a year, the backseats seams frayed--and I RARELY use the back seats. I spoke with a service rep there & he looked at it, promised to do something to get it fixed under that "great" Kia warranty, but no response. After a couple of weeks I called to follow up, got promises again & then? You guessed it: more crickets. This dealer is piss-poor at anything after they got your money. Turns out, in a Facebook group of Kia owners this fraying seams problem arises often and OTHER DEALERS ACTUALLY FIX IT! Do not go to H&H if you have any expectations of service on warranty. I needed a routine oil change and my car was still under warranty from when I bought it. I had JD work on my car and everything is great! Topped off my fluids, changed my oil, did a tire rotation, and even washed up my car! My only complaint I have is that when I called, I wanted to see if I would have to pay or if I was still under warranty and the guy I was talking to couldn't tell me if I was or not even after I gave him my VIN and offered to give him my account number. I've been to the Chevrolet dealership in council bluffs and I won't be returning there, this one is much better, cleaner, and the people there are super friendly! Avoid this place at all cost. Found a car online and wanted to pay cash. We set up delivery for the following day but then there was all sorts of identity verification they didn't tell us about until the day before delivery. They wanted passports, bills with my wife and I's name (everything in my name) credit card statements, drivers license pictures of both and a whole list of other shot we couldn't figure out why because we paid cash. So the car shows up to our house and the next day I notice the car actually had close to 5000 miles over what the odometer disclosure statement said and what was on contract. So the only easy part was that they would cancel the sale and and come pick their vehicle back up. But then they have a company policy(fuck these guys) of not writing refund checks for 10 business days. So it ended up taking about 15 days because they wrote the check amount wrong and had to void the first check. Now my bank won't cash their check for another 10 days. Service, and customer service, was superior. I was transiting the state from east to west when my experienced diesel decided (500 miles from home) that Omaha was a great place to quit. Thanks to the many reviews that are left, I decided that I would leave it with H&H and continue my journey with a rental car. I deposited my keys with my phone number and carried-on. I was in touch with Brian S. at H&H early on, and that spirit of communication never wavered. I always felt like I knew what was happening and in control of the situation thanks to Brian. They were able to diagnose (no thanks to my clearing codes) and treat this casualty by the time I came back through just 5 days later. It was clean, well taken care of, and repaired as promised and delivered. No one can ask for any more than that. I only wish this dealership was local for me, but alas I can post this for any wayward travelers, or locals looking to find a great repair shop willing to deliver as promised, and even more so given the unique situation we were in. In for oil change on maintenance package already purchased. Did not reset 'oil life' gauge. Car wash not provided or offered, should have been as part of service. Fuel filter showing 8% life remaining, not mentioned. I felt rushed even though I was there for an hour and a half because I waited. Overall I was very disappointed. Never again will I buy another vehicle from here. We walked in knowing which vehicle we wanted to buy. A salesman came out and my husband test drove the vehicle. We walked in and negotiated price (which they didn't give us ANY wiggle room) we told the guy we had already been APPROVED for an auto loan. We then started what we thought was the paperwork part of the sale....3 hours later papers were SIGNED, but we couldn't take the vehicle because H&H said we weren't approved but pre approved. 2 days later we go to pick up the vehicle that we had already signed paperwork for and noticed there was no floor mats, a locking lug nut key for the rims, the extra key or a jack. We asked for all of these things and they delivered on 2 of them, the spare key and the floor mats. We are buying a Chevy vehicle from a Chevy dealership right?! This shouldn't be a hard problem to solve. We get the vehicle home and notice that there is a wiggle in the steering wheel and it doesn't drive correctly over 50 mph (when you test drive their vehicles they only let you take city streets so 40mph is the speed limit). We take the truck back and they tried to give us a Chevy Spark for the loaner (as they were fixing our Chevy Silverado). When speaking with one of the mechanics my husband let him know there was no jack in the truck and his response was "we pay these detail guys $9.00 an hour and they never put things back." They end up fixing the problem on the truck...we are in the clear right?! Nope! I'm now getting letters from banks that they ran our credit through even though we didn't authorize this and had an approval from a bank and they still haven't delivered on the locking lug nut key nor the jack. My husband now needs to put new brakes on but cannot because we can't get the wheels off. I've spoken with 3 different sales managers and never has anyone apologized for the lack of professional service but instead made excuses like "well, you might be getting letters from banks but that's only one hit to your credit report". To me that is besides the point, we never authorized this. They also set up our loan incorrectly. I will NEVER rebuy another vehicle from here nor will I ever refer anyone here. The lack of service and courtesy is just plain amazing. After speaking with 2 other people who have either tried to buy a car or who have bought one from here sounds like our problems are very similar. read more

salesman and finance manager were very pushy - tried pushing me to sign on a used 2012 Cruze instantly with a very high price. Left and found a much better deal down the street - when H&H called me back I advised them of the other offer for the same vehicle better package.. The salesman John N. only countered by asking me to come in and work it out. He emailed the next day and advised the same thing and I informed him politely that I would be pleased to come in but he knows the other offer and I would need him to promise a better deal and I would sign the papers that night. He waited 24 hours and responded by informing me he wasn't here to play "games" and go back and forth and told me to have a nice day.. that morning I walked out of Henry Chevrolet with the same car less miles and $2000 less. So, 1.5 years later, I'm still dealing with this problem. After my first review, the service dept. calls me and says they changed the policy and they could help me now. 1st step baffle in the valve cover. No good, still burning oil. 2nd step oil consumption test, not real exact, just kind of an eyeball of the service rep. fail. 3rd step pistons and rings. No good, still burning. 4th step oil consumption test, same result, borderline according to the rep. So he says the next step is engine swap. Let's get it scheduled tues when you come in. Go in Tues, he changes the dipstick and says we need to do another oil consumption test. What a JOKE! So here I am still jumping through the hoops hoping for a truck that doesn't burn oil. read more
