Gregs's expertise with products and installations proved invaluable. Greg's assistance and guidance really helped in making the best decision for us and our situation. We discussed what options were available and best suited our needs and budget.  We had an undesirable, complex problem - an old, collapsing bulkhead, hidden under a "trap door" of an old deck. We weren't sure if we should have a new bulkhead installed, in a different location, have an egress window, in a different location,  (options which would allow us to have a deck without the bulkhead underneath) or replace the existing bulkhead and have a patio. The issue with the last approach is that there was a drop after the deck was removed.  Greg worked with our landscaper to install the new bulkhead such that the landscaper could backfill the area for the porch.  Greg and Mike did an outstanding job removing our old bulkhead and installing a new one. They are skilled, meticulous and extremely polite. They treated our home like it was their own and the quality and care for my house was second to none Their concern and care for the customer really shows through in a true and genuine manner. But then they decided to start removing boxes and wiring without asking anyone or considering the consequences, which resulted in the entire house losing Internet access. I work from home and ended up losing 6 hrs pay. They offered to follow the wires from the router to reconnect, but since they didn't know what they were doing initially, this failed miserably. If you hire this company, DO NOT ALLOW THE OWNERS TO TOUCH ANY WIRES!!! They proved their incompetence. Normal folks would simply disconnect the boxes, and reconnect. Beware!!

Water in the basement hasn't happened in the last thirty years or so. KPM examined everything and suggested it was the way the gutter was put back on the roof after cleaning it of debris. (The actual gutter installers cleaned the gutters. Gee, won't be using them again. But I digress.) KPM came back a couple of days after they gave us an EXTREMELY REASONABLE price quote and performed the work. Sheer perfection. I never really noticed the gutters on the back deck were "off." It's comforting when you hire someone with excellent knowledge and skills as well as high standards. KPM is fully licensed and insured. We're going to tell our neighbors about them because these folks live in the neighborhood.

Consumer BEWARE…read more Extremely Disappointed - Faulty AC Installation, Water Damage, and No Accountability We hired UBH Heating and Cooling expecting a straightforward AC installation. Instead, we endured over three months of ongoing issues, property damage, and a complete lack of accountability from their team. The problems began when they installed the wrong system. After noticing that our home wasn't cooling properly, they discovered the error and replaced the unit. However, the replacement was not properly tested, which led to more issues: the system was extremely loud, the fan ran continuously for days, and wires were left improperly connected. Most seriously, due to poor installation and a failed safety sensor, the system began to leak water. This leak caused extensive damage to ceilings on both floors of our home, with visible water stains in several rooms. Their only attempt to address the issue was to apply a bleach-and-water solution--a superficial and ineffective treatment. We were told full repairs and repainting would be scheduled, but those promises were never fulfilled. Eventually, the company stopped responding altogether--no follow-ups, no repairs, no accountability. Communication throughout the process was unacceptable. We had to repeatedly follow up, often reaching out to multiple people just to get basic updates or schedule service. Technicians were frequently late and had to return for repairs multiple times, causing us to miss several days of work. During one visit, they left the attic door open despite being asked to close it and left standing water on our shelving--further demonstrating a clear lack of care and respect for our home.This experience has resulted in financial loss, emotional stress, and countless wasted hours. What should have been a routine installation turned into a prolonged and costly ordeal--with no resolution and no responsibility taken. Based on our experience, we strongly do not recommend UBH Heating and Cooling. Their conduct has been unprofessional, careless, and completely unresponsive when problems arise.

The three man crew who built the new deck were true professionals. Very pleased with our beautiful new deck.
